Allied Kitchen & Bath

I initially went to Allied to get an estimate on a kitchen. Their price was more than I could afford so I chose a different company for my cabinets. However, when I told Louis that I would not be able to go with Allied, he could not have been more gracious - encouraging me to take full advantage of their showroom even if I didn't buy anything. I did just that. Working with Meghan, I made an initial purchase of a toilet with a discount coupon. She then offered to extend the coupon discount to additional items which I took advantage of. Her excellent product knowledge, plus knowing that Allied would stand behind the products I bought, led me to make several purchases over the course of several months. Although I'm someone who doesn't like to shop, it turned out to be a pleasant experience.

After interviewing numerous Kitchen and Bath companies we decided to go with Allied because of their awesome showroom, designer staff members dedicated to our account, and most important, the dedication and support provided by Bill, a co-owner of the company Even though Allied is a large company, Bill treated our job as though it was the only one he had. We communicated every day and when issues arose, they were quickly resolved. Bill always bent over backwards to make sure we were pleased with the end result. Bill spent a great deal of time explaining the differences in the cabinet finishes and his team did a wonderful job helping us pick out tile, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, and accessories. This was a huge renovation and they completed the job quicker than I expected with minor issues. I am a perfectionist and I am impressed with the quality of their workmanship. I L-O-V-E everything we chose with the help of their in-house design team. We are very pleased with the end result and would highly recommend them.

Started with a blank sheet of paper. Rob did an excellent job of offering different layouts and helping search for the best product at good pricing. Their installers did an amazing job with beautifully detailed work. Couldnt be happier and would definately recommend them to anyone looking for a quality product.

Allied completely remodeled our master bath shower and spa tub enclosure a year ago. We love the shower, but some of the tile grout around the edges of the shower floor, up one wall and around the spa tub had cracked over that time. When I called Allied, they immediately sent the tiler out who had done the original work and replaced the cracked grout with a compound that is more flexibile. It looks great. Talk about satisfied customers!!!!!!!

Prior to finalizing the contract we had some differences with Allied. While we ultimately chose another company, they provided good design services, and they worked with us to resolve the matter to our satisfaction, as a reliable company can be expected to do.

Professional and reliable through all phases of the project. Quality craftsmanship with attention to detail. Would not hesitate to recommend or utilize their services again.

Just to add: My experience picking up the toilet was quite surprising as the young man that helped me take the boxed toilet to my car showed unexpected concern for my car. He stated that he didn't want to scratch the paint on my bumper and worked out lifting the box into the liftback of my car without making contact with the bumper. That was sensational. Despite my usual concern for things like that, since I was distracted by my purchase and wanting to get home to show my wife, the young man was concerned and knows that cardboard boxes can scratch the paint on a black car (especially). Thank you Allied Kitchen and Bath. Job well done. We will be back.

Allied Kitchen and Bath is a first class company. They are reliable and efficient in every possible respect. They helped us with every step of the project from the design, product selection, construction and follow up. The customer service was excellent. We went to Allied with plans in hand from another company, but then we met Bill Feinberg and saw what he could do. We switched and years later we are still enjoying Allied's great work. To underscore how amazing Allied is was our experience a few weeks ago when a minor problem with the bathroom sink occured. I assumed that after three years, we would be on our own, but instead, Allied was here within two days to solve the problem at no charge. They live up to their promises and we recommend Allied to our friends and neighbors.

This was the best experience we've EVER had with any company. From the design work on redoing our master bathroom, to the selection of materials, to the workmanship to the finished product, we have been thrilled and well pleased with everything. The entire crew -- from the guys who carefully protected everything with plastic sheeting (and cardboard covers for every inch of tile and hard wood everywhere they worked or would walk through), to the men who did the drywall to the tiller (Enrico is a real craftsman and artist), to the supervisor who checked on the job almost daily for the entire four weeks -- were not only true craftsmen, but men we were pleased to welcome into our home. By the end, we felt we had made new friends. They brought the job right in on the estimate and if anything did more than required. Even the owners came out several times just to make sure everything was going well. We will use Allied always in the future. They're GREAT!!!!!!!

Ann Morris our kitchen designer work with us very closely from day one. She had a tough assignment because the kitchen was very old and small. We wanted it enlarged and very open. She drew up the plans and worked out every detail. This was important to us because we were there the day they started and did not return to the house until it was finished 3 months later. So we had to trust in her 100%. She would send us pictures twice a week so we could monitor the progress and make any changes. Like any remolding project there are always some additional things that you want to do along the way. Ann also helped us with painting, plaster and other things in rooms leading into the kitchen. I feel Allieds price is a little hihger than other contractors but for us the peace of mind, having someone look out for our best interest, the quality of work and the expertise were well worth the extra cost. We are 100% satisfied.

They are high quality and give a good service.

Despite a few little issues and misunderstandings, everything was resolved to my satisfaction.

The work began with designer Ann Morris, who I had used a few years before when Allied remodeled a bathroom. She worked with me to come up with a beautiful design plan and select all the elements of the rooms: tile, cabinets, appliances, countertops and fixtures. They used competent subcontractors for all the work and the end result was exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend Allied Kitchen and Bath for their quality of work, and for being a great company to work with.

I have used them a number of times. They do good work. I felt their work deteriorated over the time. Their workmen are still good, but not as good as they used to be. They made too many mistakes and their workmen were not confident. The supervision was good. However, I will not use them again. I felt their price was a little high. They were very punctual.

It went awful. It took them months to finish. They had a lot of bad workers. The owner was very rude and obnoxious. They only had two workers that came in during that time that were good.

The first thing I didn't care about was the way we were ushered around when we came in and then the designer she was kind of high pressuring us. The thing that bothered me the most is we were trying to tell her what we wanted and she was trying to tell us what she wanted. I didn't appreciate that at all and then later we kind of researched them a little bit and found out they give you quotes and they charge you a lot more. Usually you get away by the quotes and the other thing is in order to come and give you a quote they want to charge us a certain amount down for the design like a deposit. It was quite a comsumerable amount of money for the deposit and then they come over and I think you would feel obligated because you already got money invested in them. I really didn't like that way of behaving. They were not listening.

Superb. Everything discussed happened when it was supposed to happen. Professional, polite crew who did a great job. We would highly recommend recommend the company and Andy Fischman who is our contact person who designed the new layout and was involved every step of the way. We had this renovation done while we were away (three months) which is probably one of the best decisions we made. That in itself was a leap of faith but with Andy and Allied we had complete confidence and peace of mind. A pleasure to work with.

We moved to Florida in November 2010, and knew we had to totally renovate the kitchen and bathrooms. We saw other contractors, but when we walked into Allied's showroom we knew this was the place for us. The showroom was filled with up-to-date absolutely beautiful kitchens and bathrooms that gave us plenty to choose from. Joe Feinberg of Allied came to our condo, took photos, gave us an estimate which we accepted. We siged the contracts and quickly Allied provided great designs and got the permits to begin work. Jamie of Allied gave us such wonderful decorating advise, we can't thank her enough. Her taste is exquisite, and she is a delightful person. Jim and Israel of Allied supervised the project, and were there daily. Teams of workman (plumbers, electricians, cabinet makers) came promptly and worked meticulously. All were professional and superb craftsmen. We also had the popcorn ceilings removed, and though that created some mess, Allied saw to it that our place was kept clean and our furniture was protected. Indeed Allied twice sent professional cleaners to clean the apartment. Whatever we requested Allied was glad to do. Two months later the renovation is now complete and we love it. Moreover, Allied has said that they will fix anything we want related to what they installed. We have total confidence in Allied and strongly recommend them to members of Angie's list.

Without a hitch. The only real delays were inspection related. It was a very wonderful experience overall.

Their work is unbelievable. I would definitely recommend them to anybody. They will do something and get it right. They knew how to handle any unexpected things that came along. They had the right people working for them. They had really professional workers. They were the friendliest people and were very good workers. They didn’t ignore us. I was very pleased with them. I have got all their business cards and call them if the need arises. I had to say that the price was fair for what we got. They had a project manager who came to see at what stage things were at. They had that billed into their bill. The man from the company that we contracted with came out to look and made suggestions. The people arrived as expected.

The bathroom is gorgeous. The whole process was okay. They did the best they could. It was more the city permitting that held things up. Before they even start, they spend a whole day just preparing your home for construction, covering stairs, carpet, doors, etc. It was amazing. When they leave, everything is clean. They even hired a cleaning service to come out and clean up behind them.

We were remodeling our kitchen and didn't want to have to find a contractor, thought we could "one stop shop". I liked the kitchen designer very much and we eventually used most of her design, but we did not like their practices. We were charged 10% of the projected "cost" of the project for the design which we could keep even if we eventually bid the job out. The cost of the design was $3000, which we paid. Once it was done, they submitted a "proposal" to us for almost $80,000! When we protested that $3000 was ten percent of THIRTY THOUSAND, they quickly backtracked and said it was 10% of the cabinetry. That was NEVER made clear to us. Very misleading practices, which left a very bad taste in our mouths. We ended up bidding the job out and it was done (by Emery Woodcraft) at a far more reasonable rate with much more input from us. Allied has preconcieved notions of what you want and push in that direction. I would not advise anyone to go to them.

They were too arrogant, not very willing to work with my needs, wanted us to use their materials, and I knew I didn't want to bother with them.

Rob came to our house - took measurements - suggested several options - and gave us a quote. The quote was a little higher than another contractor, but we were impressed with Rob's professionalism and the reputation of the company. We had a subcontract install the cabinets, but we had Rob's granite fabricator install the granite and sinks. We also ordered our sinks and faucet through Allied Kitchen and Bath.

Had a schedule and kept to it. Workers were polite, knowledgeable and on several occasions stayed late to complete a task. In all phases of the work the workers made extra efforts to keep the area clean, including vacuuming and mopping when necessary. The project manager (Jim) made repeated calls and on site visits to ensure work was completed and on schedule. Upon meeting with the designer (Ann Morris) at the start of the project, she listened very carefully to what we had to say and gave alternative suggestions to help with the flow and the layout of the kitchen to the dining room and the living room. Ms. Morris was wonderful to work with as was all the workers. Ms. Morris took the time to go with me to help me pick out the right granite for my kitchen and added little extras to the cabinetry that I wouldn't have thought of (i.e. hidden slide-out garbage closet, lazy Susan in the corner cabinet). Everyone at Allied Kitchen and Bath made sure my messages would get to the right person, and my phone calls were responded to in a timely manner.
