Tom Smith called me to make sure I was happy with the installation he even gave me his private cell to call him if any problems .Tom and his technicians were very polite and courteous The technicians were very neat and install the whole system in under four hours. They were very careful and there was no damage done either inside or outside of my home. There was a slight electrical problem with the breaker for the compressor which was not the fault of All Year but rather it was what previous owners had done. Tom called me and offered to replace breaker at no charge to me. In addition 9 days before I had $480 work done on old system that failed and Tom has agreed to compensate me II must say I am impressed by Tom Smith's professional attitude, I wish some of my other contractors were the same Thanks again Tom

My a/c unit started to fail and after several estimates from diffrent companies I settled on All year cooling to replace the a/c system. I also decieded at that time to have them replace my water heater with a tankless water heater.The day of the installation went very well for the a/c unit,but the water heater portion took a very long time because they didn't have all the right people at the job and also didn't have all the equipment needed. The finally got everything done and everything worked fine. Were the real problems started is when the inspector came to check the work and found several issues with the installation of the a/c unit and would not sign off on it.I contacted All Year Cooling with this information and it took between 30-45 days of constant calling to All Year to get them out to complete repairs. Once it was done everything was fine with both the a/c and the water heater till August of 2012. At the end of August of 2012 the tankless water heater stopped working. I called All Year to get a service scheduled to repair it.I left a message with the answering service and never recieved a call back. I then called again and spoke with a person who told me that they would check and then call me back. I ended up calling back after several hours and was told at that time by the person I talked to that I was out of warrenty on the heater and that they no longer serviced them. They told me that I would have to find a plumber to fix it.So not only did I spend $1200.00 on the original installation I had to find a plumber to repair it. The plumber came and I ended up have to replace it with a standard water heater and alos pay an electrician to rewire it to be able to install the standard water heater. After writting this review I was contacted by Justin at All Year Cooling and his offer was to give me one year of free maintanence which is two free visits which I felt was not satisfactory. He then asked me to fax over the repair bill from the water heater replacement.I did that the next day and called him to confirm that he had recieved them.H was not avalible so I left a message,did not hear back from him.I then left on a vacation and when I returned had still not heard back.I called again and left a message again.Still waiting on a return call from him or anyone at All Year Cooling .

It didn't go that well. They sent a technician and did the job. It took three months before I got the approval from the city and it took 2 trips from the technician to get approval from the city.

My AC stopped cooling and was freezing up so I called All Year Cooling for service. A technician came out and told me that I needed to replace the coil. He called his office and informed me that they would be out the following day between 1 and 5 to replace the coil. The next day at noon I called to confirm my appointment and spoke with Sofia who told me that they would not be coming that day as they did not have the part in stock. I explained that I had taken the afternoon off work to be there and that there is an 85 year old living in the home. I told her that if they were not coming I would have to call somebody else. She said she would check and get back to me. I called back a half hour later for an update and was told by her that they would be out between 3 and 6 with the coil. I called back at 4 and she assured me they were coming. I called back again a little after 5 and she told me they were loading the coil onto the truck as we spoke and would be right there. I made a final call at 6 and she once again told me they were be arriving any moment. Nobody ever came. Why could she not be honest with me instead of lying to me and keeping me waiting in a hot house all afternoon without AC in 90 degree weather. It really is unfathomable and sick behavior. Would you want someone like that representing your company? I certainly wouldnt. She should be ashamed of herself. I have found another company, thanks to Angie's List , and will not use All Year ever again. UPDATE The day after my posting on Angie's List I received a phone call from the owner of all year. He was very upset to learn how I was treated, took full responsibility and apologized profusely. As I had already had my problem fixed he sent me a check to compensate for my poor treatment. It was for much more than I expected. He told me that he would really like to keep me as a customer and to call him directly the next time that I need service. Wow! I must say I was blown away by his genuine concern and how he took care of the problem. Also, in all fairness, I should add that it was All Year that originally installed the unit, four years ago, and they were very prompt and professional, as well as the best price. That being said I have updated my overall rating from an F to a B. I plan to take Tom up on his offer next time indeed service and hope I can then award an A.

The installation crew arrived the next day. The were very professional and I had a cool house at the end of the day!
Description of Work: Purchase and installation of top of the line 5 ton air conditioning unit. My unit that died was not sized properly for my home built in the mid 80's. I inherited this old unit when I purchased the house. All Year Cooling and Heating made sure I had the proper unit for my home to ensure energy efficiency. Kelly the sales representative explained everthing and was very professional. He made it easy for the purchase and the new unit was installed the next day. Their pricing is half or more of other competitors. I had two other quotes and both recommended lesser equipment for 2 times the cost. You can't beat them for a great price, responsiveness and professionalism..

Overall a good experience. They took care of the permits and inspections. Couple of small problems along the way but they responded to our concerns or questions.

The existing units were 17 years old and were about to die. The quote for 2 TRANE units was great and they also performed duct cleaning as a part of the deal.The instalation went smooth, the technicians were polite and friendly.Unfortunately few days later I started to hear a buzzing noise from the air handlers (both) which was very annoying especially at night.. I called with a complaint. The technician came to fix it. I was informed that the noise is made by transformers and Trane is already aware of this problem. He changed the transformers for smaller ones and the noise is gone.Everytime the do the service i always receive a phone call afterwards asking how did it go.I am satisfied with the job they did.

Had service appointments postponed several times for Duct repair and the last time they could not keep appointment for AC repair. The reason is always the same (tech called in sick). The service department was not even sure of the appointment for the AC repair. Was told same tech was to repair AC and duct when originally we were told that different people do each repair. Company did respond to feedback with a willngness to rectify the complaint to the extend they even offered to repair the AC at no charge. Previous feedback was positive for the quality of work. In this case scheduling was a problem that they said would be rectified.

Sales department was responsive, one time, helpful and informative. Installation was on time and the only negative part was placing the larger cement pad on the old one outside. Other than that the installer cleaned up after himself and seemed to really know what he was doing. They replaced my seven day programable thermostat with a new one which was not programable. After calling and complaining they sent another tech out to replace it with a 5 day programable thermostat. I have had nothing but problems with the thermostat they installed. It registers the wrong temperature and keeps the A/C unit running. I have two other thermometer around the house and they will be reading 73 when the thermostat is set at 76 and the thermostat will say it is 82. There was a 2 year warranty include. I called All Year to come out once during the warranty period and they charged me $149 to look at the unit and tell me I needed to keep the washable filter cleaner. When I called about the charge they stated it was to replace a dirty filter, which was not done. I explained what happened and was told my story was what was annotated on the Tech's notes and that I should not have been charged. Six months later they called me and say I have an overdue balance for the service call because it was an after hours call. I explained that the service was scheduled one day and performed the next. There was no after hours call. The girl went to talk to her supervisor and said it was because the Tech instructed me on how to clean my filter properly. Really $149 instruction on how to clean a filter? I have come to the conclusion that they are going to continue to change the story about what the charge is for every time I call until I pay. What a rip off. Now they are calling and trying to sell me an extended warranty. The first one didn't pay why would I buy a second one.

They were on time and the sales man took his time to answer all my questions even when I called him the next day with more questions. He was knowledgeable and informative. The installation was on time and preformed quickly. However instead of replacing the cement pad under the outdoor unit then installer placed a larger pad on top of the one already in place.

Basically, the service was performed well, at a fair price. But the appointment was very badly handled, and the follow-ups were questionably focused only on additional sales opportunities. An appointment was made to perform routine maintenance of my home A/C system, ten days in advance. I was advised that, since this was the first appointment of the day, the technician would be on time and have adequate time to address my potential issues. At the appointed date and time, no one arrived, or called to advise me of a delay. After an hour, I called the firm, and left a message, as no one was available to answer my call. Three and a half hours after the appointed time, I received a call from the dispatcher, apologizing, and that the technician was on their way. Inquiring into the reason for my poor treatment, I received responses that were not believeable. After pressing, it was clear that the firm forgot my appointment, and then made excuses blaming others for the error. I agreed to have the technician arrive, and the service was performed, and performed very well - exceeding my expectations. But only after I received another cal from a different person, stating that the technician was at my house, and asking me why was I not home? You guessed it - the dispatcher gave the technician the wrong address. Overall, the delay was four hours, required three phone calls and generated significant negative emotions. After the service, I received a call from the operations manager of the firm, not to apologize for the mishandling ot their customer, but to offer me additional services, which could be justified by my A/C situation. He was unaware of my appointment fiasco, nor did I make him aware of it. I received another call, from the owner of the firm, who has coincidentally serviced my equipment for twenty years, without previous issue. Again, not to apologize, as he was also unaware, but to offer me a new A/C system, as mine is currently twelve years old - the South Florida weather is harsh on equipment. He agreed to investigate his firm's service handling issues.

I contacted several companies to install a system for my upstairs that was completely done. All year had the best price and had good rating on BBB so they got the job. I knew there was going to be problems when I asked the guys that showed up to do the installation "Is the air handler a variable speed" and he had a blank look on his face, took a look at what they were installing and then said yes. So what did they do? They punctured a stack pipe while installing my thermostat. Didn?t reconnect my downstairs AC properly so it did not work. Installed the wrong KW heater so the air coming out might as well as be from the outside (installation was during that cold front we had that year) and forgot to order the drain pan that was to be installed with my AC. So why the moderately high ratings? Well the guy who punctured the stack pipe did not even argue with me about it and put that he did so with his signature on the final bill so I can bill them if I needed it fixed. The rest to the guys that showed up eventually to fix the other problems were very knowledgeable and professional. Also All Year never gave me the run around. They showed up on time and fixed all the problems. Also during my 2 free tune ups their technician even mentioned how my AC wasn?t cooling enough and checked the whole system. Impressive since these types of businesses never admit problems on their own. He could have easily not said anything, waited for my warranty to expire and have the company charge me for labor. He diagnosed it as a coil leak and they replaced the coil free of charge no hassle. I think what happened is I ran into 2 of their worst techs in the company by chance because the rest of the experience was great. Hopefully they screen who they hire better in the future. Would I use them again? No; but that?s only because I know I can find better and I'm not in a financial bind so I don?t mind paying more. But if you?re looking for pretty good service and the lowest price give them a call.

I had a leak in my A/C unit and someone from work recommended All Year Cooling. I called and told the service representative my situation and they sent someone out that same day. I have an older unit so I was obviously fearing the need to replace it. The technician who came out was knowledgeable and professional. He was able to fix the unit and it only cost me $125. I was very impressed with their service and happy that I found a reliable company to use in the future.

After having my air conditioner repaired a few times over the last couple years I decided to have the system replaced. After speaking with family, friends, and doing my own research I decided to hire All Year Cooling and it was definitely the right decision. When I called to schedule an estimate I spoke directly with the owner and he got someone to my home the same day. I was very impressed with the presentation of the salesman. He gave me various options and did not pressure me in any way. I was provided a written estimate and a time frame of how long the job would take. The owner and employees were extremely courteous, proffesional, and always on time. The thing that impressed me the most was the cleanliness of the work and the fact that it was performed in the time frame provided. The job exceeded all my expectations and I highly recommend All Year Cooling.

Kevin, the main salesman is very difficult sneaky, he gives you make believe prices and then add things on later. The installation was poorly done and a year after it was installed the coil had multiple holes in it. We invested $9,900 in this unit and I have a lifetime warranty with York. They tried to do patch work on something that clearly needed to be replaced. They claimed there were not any coils in the area but I called York, the manufacturer, and they said there are plenty in the area. We were out of air conditioner 5-6 times during the summer. I would warn anyone from using them. We had to change from them to another company for all of the work. I wouldn’t give them my business anymore.

They were able to fix the problem right away once they showed up. They did not show up for the initial appointment even though I took off work 2 hours early to be there. They rescheduled for the next morning and I was told they would be there promptly at 8am since I was inconvenienced. They showed up at 9am. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing.
Description of Work: We had a new AC unit put in a year ago. This is the second time we have had to schedule a repair. Although we have a warranty apparently the repair was not covered.

The technician who came to diagnose the issue told me the fan needed to be replaced. He did not open up the unit. At that time, I asked if he would be one to install the part since he diagnosed the problem. He told me probably, but not definitely. Two days later, another gentleman arrived for the installation. This second technician advised me that the issue was a loose part and not the fan. He opened up the unit, tightened a few things, and the problem was resolved.
Description of Work: They’ve installed several systems for me in the past. Most recently, they helped me with maintenance on a central air conditioning system.

I spoke with the GM and he was awesome. I was able to negotiate a price and the price we agreed upon was the price on the contract. I included duct cleaning and the technician who did the job was very thorough. I would definitely recommend this company again.
Description of Work: I had my entire AC unit replaced, all the ducts in the house cleaned and the pipes checked for leakage.
