At All Year Cooling we want all of our current and future customers to know we are here for all of you 24/7. We mean that literally! You can call or email me us anytime for any reason before, during and after the sale at (866) 486-0781 or talk2tommy@allyearac.com. We'll be here for you, customer service and making you happy is our number 1 priority! We have over 80 trucks on the road servicing the Keys to Vero Beach. We know most of the time you’d expect this type of service to come with a high price tag for the actual work, but that’s not the case with us. In fact we’re going to be lower on price than just about any contractor out there. We even offer free estimates, same day installation, and interest free financing on our AC repair, maintenance, and installation services. We want all of our current and potential customers to know that there isn’t any other company to go to for your air conditioning needs than All Year Cooling!
It went quite well. The only minor issue was the thermostat, it required a vertical thermostat due to my humidistat being next to it, they were given a horizontal thermostat and it was at the end of the day so I allowed them to install it so they did not have to waste an hour going to Home Depot to buy the Vertical Thermostat. I was going to wait until the 6 month check up to have it installed but they insisted on taking care of it right away and had a service technician come and replace it. The unit is a Ruud and it has been working just fine. All the employees I dealt with were quite responsive and friendly. Before purchasing, I checked out many companies. I would like to warn consumers to check out any company thoroughly as a few of them were real shaky, and if they do not want to pull a permit to do an installation, consider that a red flag and show them the door.

I have used All Year Cooling in the past, they installed an AC unit in my previous home. The unit they repaired in my current home is a Rudd and it is approximiately 17 years old. I thought it was dead and called them expecting it needed replacing. The unit has been flawless, no issues ever. The dispatch staff were very good at keeping me informed of the repairmans arrival time. The repairman Steve was friendly and professional. An electical component had died and needed to be replaced. He had the part on his truck, he replaced it in just a few minutes and the unit was working again. He made sure the unit was cooling properly before leaving. He agreed that if the unit was working no need to replace. They provided good service and did not know I am a an Angies List member. I'll use them for a replacement when my unit dies, hopefully not for a year or two.

We had two A/C systems installed by this company approx. 4 ½ years ago and they have been been servicing these systems every year. The initial installation was rejected by the city inspector and according to the technician All Year sent to correct several points to pass inspection he had to ?do the whole installation completely over again?. At the time, All-Year also installed two UV lights, one in each handler. It took a call to the owner to solve the many problems we subsequently had with the system and the company. Nevertheless, we contracted All-Year to service our two units annually. What was never explained to us was that the UV bulbs were only good for about a year and had to be replaced. At no time did their technicians replace any bulbs or even suggest we do this. Now we are told that the entire UV system has stopped working a long time ago. We also had a problem with the programmable thermostats in that we couldn?t get the humidistat (included in those thermostats) to work properly. All-Year's technicians replaced the programmable thermostats with manual ones and told us ?if we kept the temperature at 78 degrees while we were gone for the summer? we didn?t need a humidistat. They could not have been more wrong. The general consensus is that a humidistat is imperative if one leaves a house shuttered for the summer months in Southern Florida. After we found upon our return to FL that we had a surface mold problem, we contacted All-Year and their service department sent us a technician to inspect our handlers. The outcome was a proposal to install an extensive UV system (a total of 6 lamps) in our handlers and plenums. The cost for this would be around $2200 and a yearly cost of approx. $750 for replacement bulbs. There was no consideration given for the fact that the UV system All-Year installed had never been serviced properly and subsequently hadn?t worked for at least a couple of years. We did extensive research and talked to a number of other A/C companies in our area and came to the conclusion that installing 6 UV lamps in our handlers and plenums seemed to be an overkill. We called All-Year's service manager back and told him we wanted to start by having two parallel wired humidistats installed and could he please give us a price for that. He claimed he had to do some?research?. He previously told us that All-Year's people receive a commission for anything they sell to their customers. Perhaps, two humidistats offered less of a commission incentive than the suggested $2200 UV system? At any rate, he has never gotten back to us in the month since we talked to him. We have lost trust in the company and have decided to no longer have All-Year service our A/C systems. UPDATE: Mr. Smith, the owner of All-Year contacted us shortly after we posted this review. He agreed that we should have had a humidistat and that his company dropped the ball by not servicing the UV system they installed. He apologized and although he is aware that we have since contracted with one of his competitors for service, offered to replace the non-functioning UV system at no cost to us. We think that his offer is very fair and wanted to post this update to our previous review because we feel that Mr. Smith seems to really care about his customers and wants to make it right.

Installation went very smoothly. The two installers were very professional, and knowledgeable about the work they performed. They worked at a steady pace for several hours removing the old unit, sizing the new one, and installing it. The unit works flawlessly. I had a 5 ton, 60,000 BTU, 14 year old Goodman ac that was only 10 SEER. I had selected the 15 SEER instead of a 16 SEER because the 16 SEER unit was only 4.7 tons even though the manufacturer lists it as a 5 ton unit. Because I have a 2600 square foot house, I wanted a unit that would be efficient without working too hard to cool the house. I know I gave up a little bit of energy savings to go to a 15 SEER unit rather than a 16, but the 16 SEER unit would have had to have worked harder, thereby eliminating the savings between the two units. My girls have always complained that the house was too warm. They constantly cranked the air down to 70 to get cool. Nothing like being frozen out of my own house. After the new unit was installed, I set it for 75. The AC took the humidity out of the air, and cooled the house down. It was AMAZING. It was the first time my girls did not complain about the temperature in the house, and I was not frozen all night. I am a tough consumer. I did all my research ahead of time about the quality of different ac units, and frequency of repair of different manufacturers. I researched the energy savings features of various models. After that, I started interviewing and getting estimates from a number of companies, both big and small. In the end, I chose ALL YEAR because they were the most straight forward and honest in their approach. A lot of times when you shake hands on a deal with a vendor you have to count your fingers afterwards. All Year was different. They spoke to about my options, and the price differences. They evaluated how much AC I needed, and sold me a unit that was within my price range as well as a unit which would do a good job. I thought their price was reasonable. I did not list the price above because price varies with demand, and I purchased the ac unit in the slower winter months when the cost was less. rathern than during the summer when demand to replace old ac units is higher and more expensive. They gave me a 10 year warranty on parts, and I purchased an extended warrranty of 10 years on labor. They also offer an annual service agreement for basic maintenance that you can purchase (and pay for once a year). This was a great deal since the installer is now the same company that maintains it. In working with the owner of the company on this purchase, he answered ALL of my questions and concerns. He was very patient and thorough in his explanations. I feel like I got lucky to find this company, and would recommend them highly for their integrity, and professionalism, as well as the quality of the work that they have done.
Description of Work: All Year installed a 5 ton RUUD, 61,000 BTU, 15 SEER Variable Speed 1 stage Air Handler with a 10 kw heat strip and a matching Condensor. (The size of this heat strip is standard in South Florida). All Year also installed a programmable digital thermostat.

The owner answers the phone, he is very polite, a professional sales man. When it comes to service is a total different story. They could not pull a permit immediately, since this was an emergency, stated that in order to pull the permit, they will need to close previous permits (City of North Miami Beach). They stated that they will install the system and pull the permit after, since this was an emergency (Tenant without air for 1 week). I authorize the installation, trusting that they would pull the permit and have it inspected by the city. I AM STILL WAITING FOR PERMIT AND INSPECTION. I was advised by my principal to do not pay the bill in full, and wait for the permit. I am still holding money to pay this company once I received the permit and final inspection. The installers barely speak English. They were trying to get to the roof from the ground floor( when the roof is accessible from the second floor), when I said so, they were trying to get to the roof with a four step ladder (impossible). The tenant also complaint that they could not speak with the installers. Job was done, they removed the closet door and could not put it back, the unit is bigger, so they just left the job with the closet doors on the side. Complaint on the matter with the "boss". They stated that they will send the carpenter to fix the issue. I had a service call for the same day in a different unit, THEY NEVER SHOW UP. Called the company and report everything on the new system and the failure to show up for the service call. They sent a tech for the service call, water was leaking inside the apartment. I believe the tech was still inside the apt. when I got a call from the billing department asking for my credit card (this is a commercial property), to charge immediately for the service. $150.00 dollars to clear the line. I told them to bill me. Twenty minutes after the tech left the premises I got a call from the tenant, still leaking water. Thee tenant report that the tech only stick a screw drive on the drain and left! I called the company again, report the screw drive episode, they sent another tech the day after, I was present, they need to change the pump $200.00 and did not charged me the $ 150 for the screw drive tech. On the new system, I got at least 20 phone calls from the company. They want the tenant FPL account number in order to obtain a rebate, information was given to them to "REQUEST THE INFO FROM THE TENANT WHEN INSTALLING THE SYSTEM, but they never asked, of course they don't speak decent English! Sent a couple of emails asking to stop with the calls and explaining that the tenant is out of town. They finally stop calling. Sent another lengthy email explaining all the above and asking them to give a reason to use the company in the future. NO ANSWER TO THE EMAIL. To date, I am still without a permit, the closet door was never fixed and I am still holding the balance ($600) money for the permit.

We bought an A/C unit from All Year Cooling @2 years ago, and we paid for an addition maintenance program. This past summer we had them service the unit. Then on Monday we starting having problems with the sump pump. We had the technician troubleshoot it, and he diagnosed that the pump had burnt out. I declined the replacement service due to cost. I was not happy that the unit was not cover under the maintenance plan that I had paid. I was able to fix it. I received a call from the President of the Company, Tommy Smith, about the service call. I explained to him that technician had misdiagnosed the problem with the pump and that I was able to fix. He apologized and offer compensation for the inconvenience, which I turned down because I appreciate that personal call and effort to find out what happen and acknowledgement of the mistake. I received a check a week later, which I proceed to put to use to donate to charity. Anyways, I certainly feel that any company that takes the trouble to find out why their customers are not satisfied with their performance and tries to fix it, is worth a second chance. Conclusion: I would recommend using their service and I will give them another try in the future.

Great service and price and they included the permit which I was suspicious that they would not provide. I have a account service representative now. His job is to make sure my A/C is working and if I have ANY problems they will come out and fix it. I looked at two other companies. One never got back to me and one the price was high and did not include the permit for the change out. I had to finance this change out. The rate was reasonable, I also have a maintenance contract that include the labor for ten years. The parts are covered by the manufacturer, the labor was not covered. The warrenty is transferable if I decide to move the next person that buys my home has a bonus of a covered A/C. The guys that installed were polite and fast and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend this company. Good product, excellent service.

They gave me estimates and gave me the number of the guy to call if I had questions. I had a great experience. They were so neat, respectful, and fast. The only thing was that they tried to sell me a service contract and they really went after me for a few hundred dollars but I told them I didn't want to do it. Other than that, their workmanship was great.

The AC motor that was replaced is working fine, They never addressed the ductwork. I decided to not use this company for the ductwork and to disengage from the nonsense. No, I will probably not use this company again.
Description of Work: I initially contacted them to get the duct work checked out and possibly replaced. When the technician came he commented that he didn't want to do the job. A few days later, the AC stopped working. I decided to get the AC fixed first and then take care of the duct work later. On the day that they fixed the AC, the technician left his tools. He contacted my roommate numerous times to say he was coming to pick them up and ended up coming back at 9:45pm to pick them up. On the day of the scheduled appointment of getting the duct work looked at, I was called 3 times to tell me what the ETA was for the technician to come. He came at times that were different from those specified by the secretary. The appointment was for between the hours of 3 and 6pm. The first time he arrived was approximately 1:30pm. He stopped his truck by the mailbox, sat there for a few minutes never getting out and left. The next time he came was about 4:30pm. He did the same thing never getting out of his truck. Later that day, I got a phone call from the company saying that the technician came and waited approximately 37 minutes twice. The secretary rescheduled me for the next day for the time between 4 and 7 pm just to call back soon afterwards and reschedule me for Friday from 9am to 12pm. Needless to say, all of this nonsense was stressful and unnecessary.

Exemplary service from the office staff, maintenance technician and U/V installer. All Year Cooling was the initial installer of the A/C system for the house we purchased in June 2013. Last August I had the system serviced by another company which was recommended by our new neighbor. That company's technician was wonderful, but the office staff was incompetent. Because of the lack of any customer service whatsoever, I was in the market for a reliable company to maintain our system. Going through paperwork left by the previous owners, I found that All Year Cooling not only sold the A/C unit but also provided maintenance. During the initial phone call, the office person was extremely helpful and scheduled an appointment at my convenience. The first visit by All Year Cooling was to perform the semi-annual maintenance. They called the morning of to report that the maintenance technician was on his way. He was very friendly and thorough with the service. I questioned if our A/C unit had a U/V light, as our thermostat was indicating that it needed to be changed. He informed me that there was no UV light but provided information as to the reason U/V lights are added to A/C units. After quoting a reasonable price, I opted to have one installed. The technician contacted the office and they scheduled an appointment for the next day. Once again, I received a reminder call the morning of the visit, and then received two additional calls the day to keep me informed of the technician's schedule and his approximate arrival time. This attention to detail was very impressive. When the installer arrived he thought he was just to install a U/V bulb, instead of an initial placement of a U/V lamp. And, as Murphy's Law would have it, our U/V installation was more complicated than normal. I was given the benefit of his knowledge when he told me that usually A/C units have a total of three U/V lights placed on the evaporator coil, the blower and the duct. While providing this information he in no way was trying to do a "hard sell" in the hopes I would opt for two more lights to be installed, in fact he said should we feel the need we could always add them in the future. He expertly assessed and completed the installation quite efficiently, then did me a huge favor and attached a longer pull chain and cord for the two light stands in the attic space where the air handler is located. I was very pleased with his knowledge, helpfulness and personality. Then a few hours after the service was completed, well after 5pm, I received a follow-up courtesy call to see if I was satisfied with the service. How many companies in this day and age take the time to obtain feedback from their customers? What a refreshing experience dealing with such a detail-oriented business! I highly recommend All Year Cooling as an exceptional company from the first telephone call to the final courtesy call. You will not be disappointed in trusting them with all of your A/C needs.

Extremely responsive, professional, reliable, and customer-focused company. I initially ordered the diagnostic service call and was contacted within a few minutes of writing a message to the company on Angie's List. I believe it was on Sunday but someone was able to come over right away and give us a diagnostic and estimate. This was so important to us since we have a young child and having no A/C during the hot summer days is not pleasant by any means. I really didn't expect this responsiveness and punctuality. The cost was among the best we had received in terms of affordability and accuracy and our new A/C unit is high-performing. I also received consistent follow-up from the owner to check up on progress and I appreciated that. He called me personally and also sent me messages to see if we had any questions or concerns.

The 1st tech that came out did not know how to service our unit, and actually did more harm than good, burning up the circuit. When the 2nd tech came out he was the one that discovered the circuit was not working, my husband said that it was prior because before the 1st tech came out at least the fan on the unit was turning we just were not getting any cool air blowing in the house. The tech told us to go to Home Depot to replace the circuit, which we did and we were back to square one, fan blowing but not cold air. Finally the 3rd tech came out and he was fantastic. He understood how to service our large Train 4 ton unit and quickly was able to find the problem. He was able to lend us the part while we had to wait for the part to be ordered so that we would be nice and cool while we had to wait for the part to come in. I don't have this tech's name while I am typing this, but he was very courteous. When I called and explained that 2 techs had already been out and our problem had still not been resolved the operator said she would get someone out right away, and there was someone at our door within 30 min and this was after 6:00 pm on a Friday evening. I was ready to raise you know what to get someone out --but it did not have to come to that as they took care of us and we finally had our problem taken care of. I am going to give a grade of C because of the inexperience of the 1st two servicemen that came out. Maybe the techs should have a little more training, but once I called and let them know I was not pleased with my service and they got the right guy out it was great.

The price was very reasonable and did not change even though it was an attic install the required a considerable amount of extra work. They arrived on time and were finished in a matter of hours. A different team came back a few days later to reinstall the attic ladder. Everyone did a fantastic job and left no "evidence" behind. Extremely nice guys. I can't speak for the system yet as we just got it, but so far so good. Cools great. I would definitely use this company for maintenance and suggest them to anyone in the future.

One of our air conditioners in our home began making funny noises. I called a local company to come fix it, and 2 days later it completely shut down. When the local company came to diagnose it again, and I was quoted another $850 to fix it or over $2,000 to replace. I were livid, since the a/c unit was only 5 years old and should still be under warranty. I knew that the company that originally installed the a/c was All Year Cooling. Using the email address provided by the company on Angies List, I emailed Tommy Smith and explained our problem. It was after hours, so I didn't expect a response until the next day. Mr. Smith emailed me back immediately! He honored the warranty for replacement parts, and quoted for labor only, and said his office would call us first thing in the morning to set up an appointment. His staff called as promised, and they sent a technician out to us within a few hours. Service was prompt, courteous, cost was reasonable and best of all....the air conditioner is finally fixed. In fact, it cools more effectively than it ever did before!! Tommy Smith even emailed me the very same night to follow up and make sure all was well. I HIGHLY recommend All Year Cooling.

On 3/15 sent e-mail to owner Tommy Smith explaining what I needed. GM Kevin Zacharias replied and we set up appt for 3/17/14 for est. Mike came out and gave me est and explained whole process.I received phone call same night from Kevin asking me if everything went well. I told him I was still thinking about it but wanted to look for internet coupon I had seen earlier. He honored the coupon deal(2795.00) even though the coupon didn't refer to the Ruud unit. I said deal was done as long as he sent me his most experienced crew.(most negative reviews on all a/c companies complain about the installation, rarely about the unit). He sent me lead installer Patrick and co-worker Marlin. ....Work was done incredibly well...Patrick is skilled and "created " a nice finish. ** Patrick and Marlin showed up at 9:30am (3-19-14) and was finished at approx 2 pm. ..I never talked to Tommy(owner) but he gives out his cell phone if you need him..Didn't need him!! Kevin, thanks for your help and all your follow-ups to make sure everything went well...Patrick, thanks for doing such a fine job. Thanks Marlin..All Year Cooling constantly has people calling you to up-date times and location of installers coming to your home. Customer service is a high priority in their business.

Excellent work from sales thru installation and follow-up. AYC is truly a very responsible air conditioner company in every way. My opinion after searching many highly regarded companies, that AYC is truly a very professional organization. Kelly gave me a very good estimate but still looking at other companies I wanted to make sure I will choose the right one. I then was given a follow up on estimate by Cory who explained every detail in ease. The installation had taken approximately 2 hours and cleanup was perfect.

On time, professional explained everything gave us an on site complete estimate. Prices are fair. I will use them for the work we choose to do. After the tech left the manager called to see if I had any questions or needed any other information. They were very friendly, not pushy and I feel comfortable with them.
Description of Work: They came and inspected our two systems and gave us estimates to repair and replace.

The only negative was they were late for the initial visit by about an hour.
Description of Work: I needed a new fan for my A/C system. I bought the whole A/C system about 4-5 years ago along with a ten year warrantee. They honored the warrantee and only charged $90 for the delivery charge.

He was a nice young guy but the estimate seemed very high. When I am asked him questions he offered very limited information. I ended up not going with them. They followed up well the next day I just would have liked them to help me understand what my money was going towards.
Description of Work: He provided an estimate for my heating and AC unit.
