The company's service is terrible. They do not promptly respond to repeated telephone calls and letters and when they do it's strictly as a ''stalling'' tactic. I have had to file a legal action against them with the Florida State Attorney Generals' Office, which, ultimately could result in their license revocation.
Description of Work: I contracted for Hurricane Shutters on 3/30/05, ie. over 15 months ago, and NOTHING has been done to date!

THEY USED TO BE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. BUT 5 YEARS AGO IT WAS SOLD TO A INVESTOR IN ATLANTA AND IT'S BEEN DOWN HILL. THIS COMPANY IS NOW SUSPENDED IN AT LEAST 3 CITIES; PEMBROKE PINES, HALLANDALE, and MIAMI BEACH. THEY ALSO HAVE OVER 150 EXPIRED PERMITS IN PALM BEACH COUNTY ALONE. HOMEOWNERS WHO HAVE ORDERED SHUTTER WITH THIS PLACE IN THE LAST 5 YEARS NEED TO CALL THEIR LOCAL BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND MAKE SURE THEY DO NOT HAVE AN OPEN PERMIT ON THEIR HOUSE OR THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SELL THEIR HOME.
Description of Work: THIS COMPANY DEALS WITH HURRICANE SHUTTERS. THEY HAVE A MOTTO GET IT ON THE WALL AND GET A CHECK. THEY DO NOT CARE IF IT PASSES INSPECTION OR NOT. THEY OVER SOLD AND INSTEAD OF GETTING MORE PEOPLE TO DO WORK THEY HAVE FIRED 1/2 THE STAFF. THEY ARE OFFERING REFUNDS TO ALL NEW ORDERS PLACED BEFORE DEC 30TH. I WANT TO WARN PEOPLE TO GET THE REFUND BEFORE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS.

THE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS TERRIBLE. THE STAFF, IF THEY ANSWERED THE PHONE, WOULDN'T GIVE ME ANY STRAIGHT ANSWERS. IT TOOK THEM FORTY WEEKS TO COMPLETE THE JOB. THEY QUOTED TEN WEEKS. THEIR ACCOUNTING SIDE DOESN'T KEEP VERY ACCURATE BOOKS.

WE ORDERED HURRICANE SHUTTERS FROM THIS COMPANY. IT TOOK SIX MONTHS UNTIL THEY INSTALLED THEM. THEY ORDERED THE WRONG SIZE FOR SOME OF THE WINDOWS AND HAVE NEVER RETURNED WITH THE RIGHT SIZE. THEY WILL NOT RETURN OUR PHONE CALLS.
Description of Work: WE PURCHASED HURRICANE SHUTTERS FOR OUR WINDOWS AND THEY WERE TO INSTALL THEM.

THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME TO PUT ON MY SHUTTERS. I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS HIGH BUT IT WAS WORTH THE JOB DONE WELL.
