First let me say that moving a house full of furniture 700 miles on short notice is about as stressful as it gets. I hopped online to research moving companies and and try to obtain some guesstimates. Three companies contacted me within two hours. I spoke to each of them but the one that stood out was Agility. I spoke with a gentleman named Angelo. I say gentleman in the literal sense of the word. This man was patient and very helpful. He was able to spend some time with me on the phone. We discussed the logistics of the move, how he and his company would be handling the entire move from start to finish. He then sent me a detailed written estimate via email that explained the costs and listed each and every item that we were planning on moving. This move was a particularly difficult one for us. The house we are selling is our vacation home and is 700 miles away from where we live. What adds sentiment to this is that my daughter lives in that area and we loved having the house close to her. The saving grace to this is that she has been a huge help. The buyers made us a good offer but want to close in two weeks, on December 23. Scrambling to sort all of this out two weeks before Christmas is crazy. It would be hard enough if we were there but trying to coordinate this long distance was very difficult. After speaking with three different movers, we decided to go with Agility. Most of that reason was because of Angelo himself. I felt very comfortable with him. During one of our conversations he directed me to the Federal Department of Transportation website where I was able to view Agility's records and ratings with the FDOT and that of the other movers we were considering. Agility's ratings and records spoke for themselves. After researching reviews, seeing these records and then getting a written guarantee that I would be allowed to cancel the contract at any time with no cost to me, I was way more than comfortable going with them. As it turns out my wife and I didn't need all of the furniture that we were moving and storing because what we are doing is selling the vacation home in NC, selling our home here in FL, and slightly downsizing into a new, smaller home. With two houses of furniture, wall hangings, and chachkies that won't fit into the new house, my wife wanted just a few select pieces from each house. My daughter took the time to take pictures of what we didn't want up there to post on a couple of local social media sites to see if they would sell. Shockingly, the stuff sold immediately. In fact, she sold most of it in literally two days. Last night she suggested that we sell the rest in a weekend "moving" sale and whatever didn't sell she would take back to her house and try to sell it later when we weren't under the pressure to move out. The few remaining pieces that my wife wanted to keep would go into a storage unit close to our house there and I would move them down the same way I got them up there, via my trailer. So that left me with canceling the contract with Agility. Honestly, I was dreading making the call to Angelo. Let me tell you, he was as nice about refunding my money as he was making the sale. In fact, I hung up the phone with him ten minutes ago. As I am writing this review my email popped up and guess what? He already refunded me my deposit. Folks, let me tell you that as a retired business owner, there has been no better customer service and customer relations than I have experienced with Angelo and Agility. If you are considering a move, whether it be long distance or local, you would be doing yourself an injustice if you did not take the time to speak with Angelo. Let me make it easier for you. We had issues with the schedule. If you are going to use Agility, do not run yourself up to the last day before you have to be out of the house. That being said, John on the front end, and Jude (the foreman), Rasheed, and Vil for the actual move, did a good job making our move. John was helpful and cordial. Jude and his crew really did a good job of handling all our furniture even though several pieces needed disassembly and reassembly. Moving is a hassle, no matter how you stack it!! Once Agility finally arrived, things went probably about as smooth as they could have. Agility could improve the scheduling part of their business. It seems they do not fully appreciate the reality that people have to be out of their houses by a certain date due to closings, etc.

The movers were friendly and packed the items professionally but they did not arrive until 5pm and did not leave until 10pm. I also under estimated the amount of items that needed to be moved professionally I wanted to try to get the additional items on the truck but the movers said it would be too much paperwork. I probably should have contacted the dispatch but didn't. I ended up having to hire another company to move the rest of the items.

Victor, Johnathan and Earl were great. Very nice and professional. Worked with me to get the move completed.

From the office to the movers were very professional. Everyone was pleasant and kept me informed of when I will receive my items. The movers put everything item where I wanted and was very professional. I would recommend this company to all my friends and family. I will use this company again.

The whole team was very honest, and up front. They beat everyone else's price and I feel bad I had I had to cancel.

They were professional and very responsive to my needs. Issues came up that were my fault and the company was very understanding and quick to help me make things right.

Agility contacted me and offered their services and after checking reviews for this company, I hired them for my move from Maryland to Florida. The service I received from John in sales and Shane the owner was superb. However, the crew themselves was outstanding. The foreman was Ontario Alvarez and his helper Damion. Words cannot express the excellent care of our goods and how they were handled by these gentlemen. We boxed most of our goods, but nothing (furniture) was moved out of our house unless it was completely wrapped and protected. We had plenty of fragile boxes, but there was one in particular and they saw that it was very well protected to avoid being crushed. Overall, it was an excellent job done by crew and there was nothing damaged. These movers have what everyone needs in a company, service and professionalism. I highly recommend them. Terrible experience with our move. First movers arrived 6 hours later than promised at the start. We paid for both packing and moving. Unfortunately many of our items were stacked on top of each other in boxes. Clothes were not on hangers, small appliance thrown together, etc... Packing was wrapped up on Tuesday, driver told us he would see us on Wednesday in our new location. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday went by without a status on our goods while I slept on an air mattress for our good. On Saturday received a call that the movers would be there on Monday, but since I had to be back in Florida by then we had to postpone delivery until our house closing 2 weeks later. When the furniture arrived we found numerous scratches and dings. The paint on the bedroom furniture was pulled off from the tape they used to wrap the padding on the pieces. Some kitchen ware was broken and an antique wash basin was totally broken. We had 4 boxes that were unaccounted for. Luckily another customer in Ft. Lauderdale contacted us because he had two of our boxes and inside of one of them was our address and phone number. Agility did agree to deliver those boxes however I had to meet the driver at 1:30am since they were driving through our new city. When I contacted Shane we agree to settle the damages between ourselves versus filing a claim. He agreed to send us an agreement form to complete and sign for the agreed amount. This never happened. We would never recommend using them.

We had an amazing crew. led by Alex, along with Ontario and Damian. They were endlessly positive, energetic, pleasant and professional. They handled every challenge with a can do attitude. We dealt with them at 3 different locations. Each time was perfect. Highly commend and recommend these guys! Before the crew arrived, we had some hiccups with the scheduling and detail of communication. All were resolved with a few calls.

Teddy, Tee, and William were all great.

I was pleased with their service. They made me feel comfortable and they worked with me. The movers were professional and didn't mess up the place I moved out of or moved into. It was a stressful transition for me and they made me feel comfortable. Earl, Rashseed and Jonathan are who helped.

Overall they did a great job. They were responsive and very respectful of my property. However, I did have some extras that were not presented until they showed up for the move. There is some work needed around communication with their customers - need to be more transparent upfront.

The worst company to hire. Did not take legs off a 100 year old table just newly refinished and broke 2 legs off the table and the side of the table, it is in pieces. This was my husbands fathers table. Showed up 5 days late to move. Charged double their estimate and took almost a month to deliver to new house. So far we have $3000 and counting worth of broken and damaged furnishings PLUS the cost of refurbishing and refinishing table. Owner was incredibly rude and abrasive. Accused me of being **retarded** or **being on drugs** Workers talked on the phone throughout packing so they were not paying attention. Never hire them.

I am very happy to write this review for Agility Van Lines. The move was the BEST experience I've had with any moving company. The office staff that assisted me were super. John gave me the best price possible. The final bill was NOT one penny more. John was very patient walking me the moving process and helping with the completion and emailing of paper work. Several days prior to move, Denise called me to welcome me to the Agility VL family. Denise also ran down the details of moving process, procedures, notification of the arrival time of movers, etc... She also answered all of my questions. Denise even followed up with me to make sure my move went well. The "Dynamic Trio" made up of Ontario, Earl and Rasheed, movers, did a FABULOUS, FANTASTIC job packing and delivering our items meticulously. The "Dynamic Trio" were very pleasant, nice, professional, helpful and treated our items as if they were their own. What more can I ask for?? Every penny spent was well worth it and made the move from Harrisburg, PA to Mahopac, NY seamless. Agility Van Lines surpassed my expectations. Great company, I highly recomment them!!!

The crew is very professional, courteous and polite. Vernon, Damien and Artiozo were our drivers and they were good at what they do.
