ACE GLASS & WINDOWS

Description of Work: Don't even think about using Jan Petersen, also known as Windows by a woman. I think she is operating as Tropical window. Located on Floranada and off Prospect south of Commercial Blvd. 1---She is a big liar..the windows did not come in on time...it took almost a year for the windows to arrive..i had to keep calling to see when they would arrive. When they arrived, then I was having to call for installation which she kept delaying. 2--Finally, her installers came installed the windows. I paid $7,500 for a 13ft slider to my balcony. It was installed but not framed. She had her installer put some metal tape around the door frame which look terrible. I told her it need to be framed with wood, which she refused. Plus she did not have the seem at the bottom of the door grouted. I demanded that it be grouted and the door framed. She did neither. Then demanded payment next day after the door was installed, even though we were in a dispute. I told her I would not pay until it was fixed. She had her lawyer send me a letter threatening to lien my property. Also, she did not pay her window installer. He was threatening to lien my property, too. Since, I did not want my property liened. I agreed to go in her office and pay her and also, have the installer meet me at her office so he could be paid too. The installer was unable to make the meeting. I paid Jan and then she never paid the installer after promising to pay. JAN PETERSON IS SUCH A NASTY PERSON, UNETHICAL, AND A HUGE LIAR!!!! SAVE YOUR SELF THE GRIEF AND DO NOT USE HER...I THINK SHE CLOSED DOWN "ACE GLASS WINDOWS" AND HAS RE-OPENED UNDER TROPICAL WINDOWS WHO ARE LOCATED IN THAT SAME OFFICE! ERNEST SMITH
