He gave me a drive and offered additional services that I was ready to do an he advised me to cut off palms that were touching the roof because it was a path for rodents to come in. He explained to me that it would not be harmful to my pets. He came back and did it again. I called and they were able to accommodate my schedule. It was the first time I made an appointment and rescheduled it. I got a coupon for it and it was much more economical than I thought it was going to take.
Description of Work: They sprayed the exterior of the house.

+ -1 moreWe created an appointment for 7/23 to sign a contract. The salesman was a no-show or call. We returned the call the following day to make another appointment and we scheduled it for Saturday 7/26 at noon. Again No-show or call. We got quotes from 2 other companies. The salesman from AAA called us and met with us on 8/6 to sign a contract. We prepped the house, removing the open articles, extra bagging, etc. We called the salesman on 8/8 to confirm the tenting dates of 8/13 to 8/15 and were told that he was fired. The company showed up on time on 8/13 and tented the house and the chemicals were blown in to treat the termite problem. The tent came down on 8/15 as planned & we were allowed back into the house. The company followed through on all the promises that the fired salesman had made. We were very satisfied with AAA Pest Control and would recommend them to others.
Description of Work: There were 3 main items that we needed the company to do. 1) Tent the house for termites, 2) Treat the exposed wood inside the master bath for termites, 3) Spay around the foundation for ants

+ -1 moreScheduling is inconsistent so don't count on accurate arrival or clearance inspection but they do a good, thorough job at a great price. The price I got was very reasonable (wholesale pricing?) and service was fast and efficient, once they arrived. Would recommend using this company especially if you have multiple properties. I believe they sub-contract the work so just be aware of that, which would also explain the breakdown of communication between the office and the laborers a out in the field. This is a small, local business that's been around for a long time. I like to support small businesses and trusted that the number of years in operation meant they were doing something right and they certainly did right by me. Thanks for the great service! Will use again.

+ -1 moreservices, such as whitefly treatment The current appointment and those of the past, where all made for Saturdays, and all between 12-1pm. I'm specific about the time, because it is at that time both of us are home.On two occasions, two different exterminator technicians called and said they were "alllllll the way out in Weston' and allllllllll the way up in Boca. Could we change the appointment time? The first time I felt sorry for the overworked tech, and said yes. The second time I complained to the office and they sent another tech. This time, I waited to see just when, if at all they would show up. Well they didn't. The company will no longer be welcome in our home. And the technician always tried to sell us additional services like whitefly treatment, or once, the tech told me I had mounds of red ants right out side my door under a palm. They were not dangerous. They were regular brown ants just doing their thing. Each time it's a new fear they try and sell the customers. Well it's very unprofessional and no way to run a business. Three strikes, they're out.
Description of Work: This is the third occasion that the provider has called us to make the appointment for our bi-monthly service, which is a nice touch of customer service. Except no one shows up.

+ -1 more$185 to set three rat traps. $35 apiece for bat stations. $4 each for bait pellets. Technician also needs to get his facts straight. He told me that rats only have have bones in their heads and everything else is cartilage. A ridiculous myth. Also told me that if they replaced some of my insulation I could get a 20% IRS tax credit. The credit is only 10%. Wanted $285 to put screens on 4 . vent stacks on my roof. I did it myself in less than an hour with $5 in materials. I will not have them back.

+ -1 moreThe owner of this company, Bill Robles, never called me despite my many attempts to reach him. Instead, I finally received his assistant to my house, Dustin, who told me that the warranty I paid for didn't include anything more than what the technician did, which was to spray underneath my house for termites. The technician was under there for maybe 45 minutes, and said the problem had been taken care of. Every other company I contacted regarding my problem (subterranean termites) indicated that I needed to do much more. My floor was ruined based on their treatment. I wound up hiring a reputable company that properly treated my problem and that tented my house for far less than AAA quoted me to tent (even though I had a warranty). Stay away from this company if you have any serious insect issue, like with termites, rodents or whatever. There monthly spraying service for routine pest control seemed adequate.
Description of Work: I had termites, and thought the warranty I had with this company would help me (which I paid for annually). It didn't. The technician showed up and assessed that I did indeed have subterranean type termites. He drilled holes in my floor which was eaten up by the termites, even though other companies informed me later that this was pointless (yet indeed, damaging to the floor). He sprayed under my house (even though other companies informed me that to treat this problem trenching needed to take place under and around my house). This company did the bare minimum, and refused to even consider making any repairs based on the termite damage. Live and learn. Take my word for it. Stay away from this company.

+ -1 moreAs above. The listed "owner/operator", Bill Robles, was never available by phone, nor did he personally respond to my complaints. Time will tell if the gas treatment was successful. If roaches return, I will call another company that is rated "A" in Angie's List for future services.
Description of Work: I have used this company for about three years. They came every other month and usually charged $45 a visit for spraying my kitchen and around the house for roaches and other insects. Some technicians were excellent. Others not so good. Technicians came and went. There was little consistency. One I liked was either fired or quit. Three techs tried to convince me to approve additional, very expensive, treatments to eliminate land crabs, a total of three rats, and white flies on a ficus hedge. I trapped the three rats myself and treated the hedge myself. I ignored the land crabs. The company was not able to eliminate the roaches even after three years and two expensive ($150 each) Delta Dust treatments to the crawl space under the house. After I complained, the company sent another technician who recommended a gas treatment for the kitchen (usually $250 but they reduced it to $125). This treatment required me to leave the house for four hours and required me to have a cleaning person come in for five hours later to clean up the toxic material on shelves, counters, in cabinets and on the floor. (They had warned me that this would be necessary.) I authorized the treatment but decided I would terminate their services upon completion.

+ -1 moreI guess he did what he was supposed to do, but I though the price was outrageous. I could have gone to Wal-Mart and purchased the traps for $5.00 and hired the out-of-work young man across the street to screen any openings on the roof for $50 - $100. He never did catch the rat. The traps were empty. He came back in 2 days to check them and then told me it would cost me $45.00 for him to come out and check the traps again. I'll send my husband up to the attic the next time. Apparently whatever was up there came and left, thank goodness. I felt that this company preyed on peoples' fears. Perhaps if you had a major rat probem the cost would be appropriate but I feel that I was overcharged big-time. I would suggest that people with a problem that isn't too severe purchase traps and do the job themselves.
Description of Work: I had insulation from my attic coming out of my overhead air conditioning vents. I called the air conditioning technician who said I probably had a rodent in the attic who had chewed a hole in the duct work. I freaked out at the thought of having a rat(s) running around over my head and called this company because I had stopped in their office previously and purchased ant bait. I chose them because they didn't make you sign a yearly contract. The technician came over the next day and told me that he would "rat-proof" my house and take care of the existing problem for $490.00. Because I was so upset, I signed the contract. All the guy did was walk around the perimeter of the house and take a look up on the roof. He also checked the damage in the attic. His solution was to put 4 rat traps in the attic and place screening on the pipes on my roof.

They never put the screens on the windows to keep the pigeons out. Months past and they still did not finish the job correctly, so they sent out a second person and he didn't know what he was doing. They are currently not responding to our calls nor have they made any attempt to contact us.
Description of Work: AAA Pest Protection was called out to rid my house of pigeons.

+ -1 moreDoug was great! He really knew his bugs! He was on time and very pleasant. He was worth the price. My next door neighbor also uses them. We're both very pleased!!
Description of Work: They treated for ants inside and outside the house. When they came, they sprayed for other insects just in case, and everything was cleared immediately. They did advise that since it was the first time, the ants might come back and to call them anytime. We did, and they came ASAP! The 2nd time, they dusted the attic and other places they thought might be targets. Their service includes coming every 2 months, but if you need them before your scheduled visit, just call and they'll come!
