Jack's work is excellent! He cleaned my old carpets exceedingly well, and they look the best they have looked in ten years! In addition, he was meticulous and expert in patching a portion of carpet that my puppy had destroyed. Jack takes great pride in his work and it shows. I give him the highest recommendation.

I called Jack Plunkett, owner of the Carpet Doctor, after our AC unit leaked into our dining room. So glad we found him on Angie's List.! Jack was very responsive and came out to our home in Plantation the next day after our call to give us an estimate (no obligation!) for new padding, relaying our carpet and giving it a good cleaning. Jack arrived on time, and his estimate was very reasonable for all the work we needed done. By the end of that afternoon, the work was completed. It looks wonderful -- like the flood never happened -- and Jack was a great person to work with. I'm looking forward to hiring Jack at the Carpet Doctor to come out annually and clean our carpets and he will be the first one we call if we have another flood. I highly recommend the Carpet Doctor in Ft Lauderdale.

No bait and switch. A fair price was give, work done, EXCELLENT results. I would highly recommend this vendor.

I just signed up for Angie's list and found Jack, A Carpet Dr. on your list. I was very impressed because he received so many rave reviews. I immediately called him yesterday and we made the appointment for today. Not only did he patch my carpet and remove the vinegar stain but cleaned the whole room. The carpet looks beautiful and I can hardly see where the patch is. I am extremely happy and highly recommend him. The cost was $175 and well worth it.

I made an appointment for the next day with Jack, who arrived within 5 minutes of the time. He called a little ahead of time to let us know he was on the way. Jack examined the carpet and, backed by decades of experience as an installer, knew just what to do. Nylon carpets, he explained, can sometimes expand in certain areas, depending upon how it was installed. (Note: I first called the company that sold and installed the carpet, Miami Rug & Carpet in Fort Lauderdale, to order service, but they didn't have the courtesy to call back. We do not recommend them for anything.) Gradually, Jack moved the bulge from inside the bedroom near the door into the hallway and up to the stairway half-wall. Then he cut off a swatch measuring about 3/4" by 15", tacked down the new edge on new tackboard and...voila, the bulge was history. I'm a fussy guy and will attest that the result was perfect, with no way to know that the carpet had gone through a nip and tuck procedure.

Since my carpet has a prominent pattern with various pile lengths, it t was difficult to repair. Carpet Doctor went to great lengths to do the job correctly and match up the pattern which was not easy. I had spare carpet stored in the garage which they used for the repairs. They were neat and put back the roll of carpet into the garage after they finished..

From the time I made first contact with Jack until the technicians left I experienced nothing but great customer service. My 26 year old Berber carpet had many wrinkles and they were able to get them all out. Dan and Rob did an excellent job. I certainly would hire this company again for any carpet repairs.

He called the day before to reconfirm the appointment, called the day of the appointment to verify directions, very careful and attentive to details. Even vacuumed up after he was done.

Called back right away and set up an appointment to come out. Came within several days and went right to work on the several areas that needed repair. Took carpet from the closet and re-worked into the problem areas. He was very professional, informative and expedient. Would highly recommend Jack. We will also be contacting him to clean our carpets.

We are listing our house for sale and the only repair needed was fixing four small spots where our cats had scratched up the carpet. Within 48 hours of calling Jack, he had our carpet repaired and looking new. He is very conscientious with phone contact and appointment arrangements. Excellent workmanship.

Fortunately, he attempted to remove the stain with vinegar and everything came out. There was no need to cut and patch the carpet. I am a HUGE fan as the carpet looks great and the cost was less than expected. Jack was punctual, professional and very pleasant. I would recommend him.

Called on time. Showed up on time. Did the job and more. Was a pleasure to deal with. Added some "goodies" to the job at no charge. Even showed me a photo of his classic car. LOL A stone professional and a good guy to boot. You don't find that often. Use him.

Vendor did not return numerous phone calls after initially contacting him on December 28th and being told he would contact me the following day.

Jack was easy to communicate with and we arranged a convenient date for the work to be done. He and his partner showed up as scheduled. Once he gave me the very reasonable estimate they went right to work - splitting the work between them. Jack worked on the transitions and did a terrific job. The carpet stretching turned out really well also. Since we were preparing to list our house it made the carpets look 100% better.

My experience with Jack, the Carpet Doctor, was terrific. He answered my call immediately. He had to call me back to set up the appointment because he was driving, but did so in a timely manner. He gave me an estimate over the phone of $120, and after arriving and seeing the room, that's exactly what it was. Jack was friendly, professional, and did a great job on our carpet which was rippling and bubbling. He stretched it and the room looks great. He moved the necessary furniture himself, put everything back and cleaned up afterwards. I would definitely call him again!

I contacted Jack to inquire about services for myself (stretching and cleaning) as well as 2 friends (cleaning). He was careful to explain that the prices given over the phone were estimates but we were pleasantly to find that, although 2 of the 3 were slightly higher, it was just a matter of a couple of dollars. He scheduled each job according to our availability. He arrived promptly and did a wonderful job! One of my friends was about to replace her carpet but she was so thrilled with the job Jack did - she said it looked brand new!!! I would highly recommend Jack for all your carpet needs!!!!
