I could not have been more impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of John and his entire team. Whenever I need septic services, I will definitely call A-Alligator again.

They came out and told us to snake the line from the roof would be $325. They proceeded to do the work, and without telling us .. they tacked on a $250 charge for “digging” a little to the septic lid. They took the opportunity to scare my wife and tell her that the tank needed a full pump, pressure wash and a new lid. Said services would cost $3,500 to complete. We paid the service for snaking the line, but went for a new estimate. The new company said my septic is in good shape and didn’t need any pumping. They went on to do a lid for $400 and total job cost for the same services would have been $1000 not $3,500 like these bastards quoted. I was lucky I got another opinion. Our tech from the new company knows A alligator and said they are now known for “up selling and forcing the techs to produce.” Which is a nice way of saying the techs are told to sell and create work, and ask for more money.” STAY AWAY THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS.

Spoke with several companies before deciding on A-Alligator. You can tell just by speaking with them that they know what they are doing. I prefer doing it right the first time. Had a cleaning and two manhole covers installed. Covers were alligned with a laser measure in preparation for the next phase of project. I would definitely recommend and will call again for service.

Two men dug up and opened the front of my septic tank. They proceeded to tell me that my tank was completely full and sewage was to the top of the tank. They said that the drain field was damaged and that to pump, pressure wash, repair the drain field and install a metal grate would cost $4,400. I told them that I'd need to get another estimate as this was far more than I was expecting to have to pay. They said I would have to pay for the work already done, a $250 charge, or that the charge would be credited if I decided to work with them on the project that they recommended. I called the headquarters and spoke to two people there who became irate and belligerent when I didn't want to pay that much for their crew to dig a hole and give an estimate. They argued that I had ordered a septic pump out and this was the charge for a cancelled service call. They never mentioned that up front, so I didn't see why I should pay. However, after several aggravating calls I agreed to pay $125 for the visit. That in itself would be enough to merit a bad review, however, the next estimate I received from a different company was shocking. The new company said that my tank was not full, that the sewage was within the 6" level needed for proper functioning and that my drain field was mostly fine. Proceeded to work with the new company that charged a fraction of what A-Alligator tried to extort from me, and the work came with a one year warranty. A-Alligator is clearly trying to falsify problems with septic systems in order to scam unwitting homeowners out of cash. I recommend never using them.

We used these people 18 months ago. We had to call again this week. They came in the morning and then said that their truck was full and would have to return. They are the first to appear as a search on Google. However, be forewarned, they returned hours later and tried to bait and switch me with a useless up-charge to power wash the inside of my tank. Instead of the $350 they quoted me over the phone it went to over $800. Really? to power wash the inside of my tank? I'm just going to put feces back in it. BS, and it kills the beneficial bacteria thereby just creating a fancy port-a-potty. The drivers are paid on commission. They are encouraged to up charge you. Guess what, Jerry's Septic came out and emptied it for $325 in less than 15 minutes. Shame on you Alligator for bait and switch price gouging. They arrest businesses like you during hurricane season for price gouging. Don't worry, I'm going to write to the Better Business Bureau as well. Regards, Glenn Harmon

people showed up 4 hours after expected...called company twice to check when they were to arrive...i was not told by company, if septic did not need pumping the charge is$250 anyway just to come out....then i was told they could not pump out septic (which was not full) unless they pressure clean tank (an additional $275 rip off) . it was $295 to pump tank out. my neighbor used this company two years ago and they did not tell him that in order to remove all the waste to the bottom, they were not told they would have to pressure clean the tank....they removed all the contents of the septic tank....i guess since then, they have decided to charge customers an additional $275 to pressure clean tank as well as $295 to empty contents....when i told the gentlemen just to remove the "liquid" since they were going to charge $250 just to show up, they had an attitude...i would definitely find another septic company in the future....or ask the service charge (if any) just to come out....feel they are taking advantage of customers with this pressure cleaning thing....the opening to the tank is about 9 inches round....how can they pressure clean this entire tank through a 9 inch opening....this is 1000 gallon tank....they could suck out the sludge at the bottom of the tank just as well, just choose not to according to my neighbor who just used them two years prior....they want to charge more to do so by calling it "pressure cleaning"

They scheduled my appointment within a very short time of the request, maintained communication advisories and promptly arrived ahead of schedule. The technicians were very helpful in solving a few problems and were very thorough in their work! Fair price, great response, excellent team of people at A ALLIGATOR! I see why they have high customer service ratings! I would use them again!

They have been prompt and professional in providing service. They are also more reasonably priced than other companies doing this work.

I have nothing negative to say about them, I just didn't hire them. They were a smaller firm and didn't do some of the things I needed. I didn't have any complaints about them at all. They seemed very capable. I just wanted one provider to do all of the work with the deck and the pool.

A-Alligator came out and pumped out our septic for $545 and said if that didn't solve the problem, they would be back to assess. Within a month of paying them, I called them back because yard was getting flooded and without even coming to the house, I was told that I needed a new drain field and they did not do that work in Miami. I could have saved myself that money and just replaced the drain field with a company that did do the work. Not very happy how I was blown off, especially after recommending them to clients.
