I thought the service techs were excellent. They were professional, well-prepared, and precise. I am very satisfied with their efforts. My experience with customer service and billing was and is also very good.

Did nothing but tell me the problem.

I responded to 4 Star Services newspaper ad for a $19.95 AC Check UP. I suspected that I would need Freon added so when I called I ask how much the Freon would cost and the office lady said that the serviceman would have to tell me that. I told her that I knew that it depended on the amount needed, but ask how much was it per pound. She said that she didn't know how much it was per pound and would not give me a price. I assumed it would be between $25 and $36 per pound as charged by other companies. The serviceman came ahead of time and found no problem with the air handler, but did find that the compressor needed Freon. I ask how much the Freon cost. He said that the first pound would be $136.95 and each additional pound would be $39.00. I told him that was ridiculous. He said they could not make money charging $19.95 for a service call, but they set the price and that doesn't mean they have the right to gouge me with a price of $136.95 when I happen to know that a 30 # tank of Freon cost them $200.00 or $7.50 per pound. The service man said he didn't know why the girl in the office would have said that she didn't know how much the Freon was per pound, but I do. He wouldn't be out here if she had told me the truth. They are devious and deceptive. I would never call them again.

Discovered a drain stoppage at 6pm on a Saturday night which flooded my laundry room and kitchen. 4 star answered the phone promptly and told me they could have someone over by 8pm the same day. There was a $125 fee for emergency service (I have no issue with this). I shut off all water from draining further and proceeded to clean up the water and mess myself including renting carpet blower fans to remove water from the walls and prevent permanent damage. James arrived just before 8pm as promised and quickly assessed the problem. He said that he would have to access the drain from the roof to clear a main drain clog. He then showed me his catalog of pricing and I was shocked to find the fee for the work is $392.95. James quickly went up and had the drain cleared in about 20 min. He then took the time to test all the drains to insure the problem was resolved. James was courteous and did the job well, but the pricing ($518) was out of line for the time it took to get the job done.

I have always been very lucky for them. I have never had a bad experience with them. They are very good about sending out the same plumber who has been to my house in the past. Their technicians are skilled and I know they do continuing education for all of their technicians. I would highly recommend them.

They're very good. They are personable and honest. I left them in my home, while I was gone and they even locked the door, after they left.

4 Star provided excellent service, the technician was right on time every time they had to show up. They had recharged my A/C and offered me a credit to purchase the new unit I needed, but that the recharge would get me by for a couple of weeks. It could not have worked better, I was able to organize my time and I had my A/C working until I was able to fix it.

4 STAR PLUMBING IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY WITH FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES. I DID FEEL THAT THEY OVERCHARGE US TO FIX OUR GARBAGE DISPOSAL. THEY DID FIX THE PROBLEM THOUGH.

THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK IS WONDERFUL BUT, IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE. WE CALLED SOME OTHER COMPANIES AND WE FOUND OUT THAT THEY WERE OVERCHARGING US. WE WILL NOT BE USING THEIR SERVICES ANYMORE.

I HAVE FOUR STAR SERVICE AIR CONDITIONER HERE AT MY HOME. IF THEY DID BAD SERVICE BEFORE, DO YOU THINK I WOULD HAVE THEM BACK OUT TO DO A CHECK UP ON THE SYSTEM?

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE OF FOUR STAR. I WAS SURPRISED THAT THEY DID NOT TRY TO DO OTHER WORK ON MY AIR CONDITIONER JUST TO MAKE MORE MONEY OFF OF ME.
