I can’t say enough about Attic Ninjas. I usually don’t leave reviews but in this case I’ll make an exception. Their price was very competitive…lower than most. The guys were pleasant and seemed very conscientious about their work. They were concerned that we were satisfied with the job they were doing. Blowing insulation is by nature a messy job. However they controlled the mess throughout the day and cleaned up perfectly when they finished. David followed up several months later to ensure that everything was ok and that we were satisfied. How often does that happen?? You can’t go wrong with these guys.

DISASTROUS OUTCOME! The fellows were polite, but otherwise my house is a disaster. The purpose of blowing insulation in between my interior walls was for soundproofing. Period. Soundproofing was made very clear. irequested that the insulation be blown in via the attic down into the walls. I was told that was not possible. They had to cut holes, probably fifty altogether, which I determined to be done on the least noticeable walls. Those walls were in two closets and two bedrooms. We also had vents secured to registers in ceiling that the original builder did not do, and then additional insulation blown in attic. The first day the attic was done, along with insulating panels on garage doors. That went well. The problems started Day 2. They said they would be starting at 10:00, but they didn't arrive until 11:45 which really affected the rest of my day's schedule. One person worked until 7:00. Day 3, Saturday, they didn't arrive until 11:30, again after saying they would be here at 10:00. The one fellow was here to patch drywall. The fifty-odd 4 inch diameter holes, which were actually only 6 very small holes with a circle extraction were drywalled with a big pan and large spatula. I had no faith this was going to be a good patch job. This fellow said he would texture it to look like the untouched drywall. NOT. This morning is it a disaster. What could have been filled with spackling and an index finger, is now a complete slopped-on mess, big lumps on some places and not enough on others where can I see the original four inch circles. No texturing was done. It is awful. I have now removed EVERYTHING from the first bedroom again, and have to sand everything off and patch myself, which I should have just done yesterday. I have another bedroom to do after that. I spent 6 hours sweeping, washing, and putting my room back together this morning, when I thought I would just wash off the excess and then paint. I now have two more days of sanding, cleaning, washing, painting, and replacing everything. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE DRYWALL OR PATCH ANYTHING. KINDERGARTNERS COULD DO BETTER. I have pictures of this before i start.

Response from Attic Ninjas, LLC
Dear [Member Name Removed] I would like to start off by apologizing for the outcome of your drywall patch and the fact that we were unable to meet your expectations for this $6,500 job. In all fairness, if there were any issues or additional work that needed to be done, we were always just a phone call away. It is unfortunate that you have chosen to express your concerns in this review, which seems to be more beneficial in harming a small, locally owned and operated company rather than working towards a resolution that would satisfy all parties involved. This approach would have been more constructive and would not have resulted in a review that could potentially damage our ability to provide for our families. We take full responsibility for the quality of our work and understand that it may not have met your expectations. If the drywall was indeed as bad as you claim, we could have easily returned to your home to touch it up and make any necessary repairs until it met your satisfaction. Alternatively, if this was a personal preference issue and you did not want any of our Attic Ninjas LLC team members back at your home, we would have been more than happy to arrange for a drywall company to come and resolve the issue for you. Considering the various options available to you, it is unfortunate that you chose to take this route instead of simply communicating your concerns with us. Our phone number is clearly stated on the invoice that your husband signed, as well as on the multiple business cards and flyers that we left at your residence. Just to clarify for everyone here, managing a small construction or service company, like the one we run, is not a process with exact times for arrival or completion. If it were as straightforward and predictable as some may think, there would be no need for a company such as ours. However, we always provide a window for our arrival on every job and we remain on site as long as necessary to complete the work or reach a suitable stopping point before heading home to our families. During the week, our typical morning routine involves loading our trailers, fueling our vehicles, and purchasing ice and drinks to stay hydrated while working in hot garages and attics. We provide arrival windows between 8am-10am or 9am-11am on weekdays. On weekends, and on occasions scheduled work that requires rentals, our arrival windows can start between 10am-12pm or 11am-1pm. Prior to the commencement of any drilling activities on the drywall, we meticulously set up 0.5 mil thick plastic drop cloths. These cloths are carefully taped along the wall, floor, or any personal belongings, and remain in place until the work is fully completed. The holes that are drilled into the wall are precisely 3" in diameter, using a 3" hole saw. This specific size allows our 3" insulation hose to fit seamlessly into the hole, filling the wall cavity with cellulose insulation for its exceptional sound control properties. Once the cellulose insulation has been added, the 3" round cuts of drywall are carefully reinstalled using small sections of furring strips and drywall screws. To streamline the process and minimize dust on site, we utilize a joint compound known as Easy Sand 45 Joint Compound. This product is favored for its quick curing time and its ability to be smoothed out with a wet sponge, eliminating the need for any sanding within our customers' homes. Upon completion of this process, we remove the 0.5 mil plastic drop cloths and thoroughly sweep and mop the work area. While we are not a professional cleaning company, we ensure open communication with our customers, informing them that there may be a slight need for additional cleaning upon job completion. Before collecting the remaining balance of the job, we conduct a comprehensive walkthrough with our customers. This step ensures that the job is completed to their exact expectations, preventing them from paying for any incomplete or subpar work. The work conducted at your residency was marked by the meticulous air sealing of your ceiling and ductwork. This process effectively increased the existing R-value of your spacious 1766sqft luxury home to R38, utilizing Knauf Jet Stream Fiberglass blown in insulation. Additionally, rafter ventilation, barrier, and attic rulers were installed prior to blowing in R38 insulation across your expansive 528sqft garage ceiling. The garage doors were insulated using custom-cut exposed faced polystyrene laminate styrofoam panels. This intricate process required the removal and subsequent reinstallation of every rail, resulting in a flawless, seamless finish. Furthermore, three walls were soundproofed with 103 cubic feet of cellulose insulation. Furthermore, we were disappointed to find that the workspace was not prepared for our arrival. This resulted in a significant amount of time being spent on moving personal belongings away from the corresponding walls. To make matters worse, we had to wait for your husband to return so he could move his guns and clothing out of our work space. This unexpected delay added even more time to our stay, causing one team member to remain behind until 7pm and the other to leave in order to pick up his child Friday evening. A custom-ordered 22”x36”x15” draft master hatchway insulator was included, and your original off-brand garage door insulation kit was purchased by us and a 10% discount was already applied the day of the sale. An additional $100 was taken off the original price of the garage door insulation kit on-site. Upon completion of half the project, a down payment of $2000 was collected via check. The remaining balance was paid using a credit card upon completion of the entire project which was an additional 3.5%. We truly hope that you are finding comfort in the extensive renovations we have carried out on your home. We also wish for you to find solace in our communication and our approach to future business dealings with smaller companies. It is important for us to emphasize that we genuinely value your feedback and would have highly appreciated the chance to directly address this issue with you. Thank you, Attic Ninjas LLC

After speaking with our utility provider on our high electric bill he advised us to upgrade our insulation. Our home is about 50 years old with the original insulation in it. We contacted multiple contractors about the project but we went with Attic Ninjas to do a full service in our attic. Attic Ninjas did a wonderful job, they put drop clothes through out our home, they had a really cool vacuum that sucked out all of the old insulation and trash from our attic. They sealed all of the ceiling holes with foam, sealed all of our air ducts, installed new baffles and added R30 insulation to our attic. They hauled off 55 large bags of old insulation from our home. Attic Ninjas was very efficient and clean. Our home is not only more comfortable but it actually cut down on the amount of dusting we have to do in our home. We are absolutely 100% happy with the work they did and would give 10/10 stars if we could. The customer service was exceptional!
