I was trying to decide whether to replace wiring before putting in new insulation in attick. They told me the pros and cons and helped me make a decision.

I have an estimate for the work if I choose to do so. I have a better idea what electrical work for the house is needed.

t where improvemenThey arrived a little late, but worked quickly and well. Answered my questions and made suggestions on how to improve my safety by replacing electrical panels and breakers. Their cost was higher than I could afford, and the work was something my room mate can do. I am legally blind and don't attempt things I used to do easily. The fellows did make good suggestions and pointed out where things were properly done and no worry.

I never had the offer done, but I keep getting requests for comments about my experience. So, decided to post this.

They did a general review of our house and oted problems that should be addressed, some which we could fix ourselves and some that would require professional help. They were very knowledgeable about the type of equipment we had in the house and previous issues with it. They pretty quickly found the main source of our problem which was a loose connection with PG&E which could have created a power outage or possibly even fire. They recommend we contact PG&E immediately, which we did and the problem was fixed within a couple of hours. We are considering using them to replace our main panel and sub-panel within our house.

This was the second time they had stopped over. The first time was totally my fault. They actually showed up early!!! My phone was being repaired , they had called but being as I had no phone, I couldn't get their message.. Never have I had someone show up early on an appointment. What a surprise but alas I wasn't home. So the second time, without any any complaints from them, they arrived on time with the appropriate phone call. They explained there was to be an upcharge due to the new electrical box placement in the attic.. which I knew would be the case. They quickly put it in and in two hours ,there it was. Smooth.. I'd highly recommend them. My only gripe .. which i knew would be the case was .. figuring it in with the Angies list discount , the cost was over 300.00 to install. Hey.. you pay for no headaches.

I took advantage of the $99 special they advertised and scheduled an appointment with Razvan. He showed up with another guy on time and started to install the fan. We discovered some serious issues with the previous fan installation which was done by a Handyman who didn't even use a junction box and used wood and nails to secure the fan. Razvan had to do major fixes to get the electric up to code and make it safe to use. Took a couple of hours, but he did a great job and the fan looks really good. Cost more than I expected, but I know it was done right. Both men were extremely personable and took the time to explain what needed to be done. They cleaned up everything before they left and I would use them again. Great job!

The provider first got the appointment date wrong, he tried to reschedule a wrong date, and then no-show on the date of appointment. He charged $275 to correct a wiring issue, after several rescheduling, but failed to provide a statement of work or receipt to my tenants who were there to provide access.

It was good, except the Special for the $99.00 should have been clearer on the details of a fan install, like if there is an existing fan or not, because it was an extra $175.00 since where we were installing the fan there wasn't a fan already there just a light fixture, which requires additional work. We had purchased the box that was needed to install the fan which I was glad, however the beams were not the length that are standard so he had to modify the support box which he was nice enough to do for me. The fan looks great and I love it. They were very clean and did not make a mess which was nice. I would recommend them to someone if they needed electrical services.

Razvan knows his stuff. Our spaghetti wiring has stumped two other electrical teams, but Razvan immediately saw what had been done to our 100+-year-old unit. And, unlike the others, he wasn't intimidated by the job ahead to put it right. He's a funny guy to boot. Highly recommend.

The job went longer than he had expected, his attitude changed.. When the electrician from Quick Electrician came to do the estimate went well, but the day he came to do the work , he called me to tell me that two other problems would needed fixing for $1300 more. I told him to go ahead that it needed to be fixed properly. I got another call that this was too much of a job and he was very tired and aggregated. He kept telling us this place was a fire hazard ready to go off, I asked him to please fix it right. I still have a problem that was not fixed, EX: I can not use the washer, air condition in front room and bedroom going at the same time. The electrical breaker goes off. at I am very concern about this problem, since my disabled daughter lives in this Modular home and I was hoping it was up to code.

They did what they needed to do. They were really responsive. There was a problem with that./ I don't think they balanced it real well. So it makes some noise when it's turning, but more so whatever code they used turns on and off the other things. I'm just disappointed we didn't notice but when they were turning the fan and the light on and off the other lights were going on and off in the house. So I can't really use it until I get in there and reprogram it and I don't know how to do that and I have to look it up. So it kind of leaves me with a little bit of a negative feeling, but they were okay. They came in and did their thing.

Professional and thorough. No actual work was done. Gave estimates of work to be done.

Never ever I will buy these kinda of deals on Angies list. This guy is way too rude and does not have the courtesy to keep up his word for the offer he posts on Angies. It does not take an act of congress to schedule something which works for the customer and honor our commitment. Just obnoxious with all his excuse...

They were Quick indeed - they found issues I thought existed fast. They have ample experience with old houses. They gave me a reasonable bid to upgrade my electrical, which is old knob and tube - it's been spliced into and extended three or more times over the years. It's a pretty bad system, and I'd feel much better having Quick Electric re-wire my house, but I may move soon... Nice guys, pretty busy so it took a few days to get them out. Id say they could do any job big or small - and Quick.

I purchased The Big Deal Whole House Electrical Inspection. No actual electrical work was done. They arrived on time. Meticulously, went from room to room explaining in detail the issues with out-dated electrical outlets that could cause problems. Checked electrical panels and breakers. Checked the placement of fire and carbon monoxide detectors. Very thorough explanations of electrical issues that are not up to present code. It's an old house and the previous owners lived here for 36 years. Safety concerns were my priority for any repairs or replacements. Although it is obvious that the purpose of this inspection is to find issues and provide additional work orders for Quick Electrical Services, I found the experience extremely helpful in determining which items are the most crucial in terms of safety and dealing with those issues first. In the garage, I already knew about extensive conduit needed to bring wiring up to code which they confirmed for me and priced the job. Also, I knew about issues with the kitchen recessed lighting that was dangerous because of the attic insulation. Razvan went up into the attic and saw the problem. He showed me the new LED fixture which does not require a bulb and lasts for 20 years. He priced the job for me and emphasized the need to correct this problem. Everything went well. While Razvan proceeded through the inspection, all issues were written down and priced immediately. Very thorough and professional. I highly recommend Quick Electrical Services for this inspection. As of yet, they have not actually performed any work, although based on this performance, I will contact them when I have decided which jobs I would like to perform first.

The inspection was very thorough and the electricians were both knowledgeable and informative. We have very few outlets in this 1907 house, so we've resorted to using power strips in many of the wall outlets which I suspected could be problematic. I was also hoping to add additional light fixtures above a kitchen counter, but l wasn't sure that my electrical panel could accommodate any additional loads for the lighting. The electricians came within the hour of time designated, they were courteous and personable, and above all, it was clear that they know their business and State and local codes. The electricians assessed my electrical panel capacity, they identified the type of wiring in the house, they surveyed whether IG outlets were present in wet locations, and whether dedicated circuits had been used for all major appliances; they informed me about the number of outlets required per bedroom (per code) and also informed me that only sleeping quarters need smoke detectors, but he added that those detectors need to be hard-wired, and they only have a 7 year life. They also checked switches for code compliance and safety and they then provided me with a thorough estimate for all observed necessary upgrades. Now that I know what the upgrades will cost, I can manage my budget accordingly and hopefully get the required work done in the near future so that the house will be safe, I might be able to lower my Home Owner's Insurance premium, and I will simultaneously be increasing the value of the property. All good things!

After talking me into upgrading the circuit in my bedroom, instead of a ceiling fan installation for under $100, I spent $600 plus. In addition, their free inspection revealed that I "needed" what amounted to a rewiring of my whole house. It was an open-ended estimate, but I figured it would have cost me at least $9,000. Fortunately I had a friend who is an electrician inspect my house, and he found no necessity for a rewiring unless I really wanted to upgrade my service. Should have used my friend to install the ceiling fan - it would have cost me far less!

Quick Electric was quick in replying my email. I was able to get an appt within a couple of days. Razvan called when they were on their way and arrived on time. They did the walk thru and made various suggestions to keep my home safe, i.e. GFIC outlet next to my stove and area by the washer/dryer, in addition to some bonding work by the water heater. They also noted that I needed a bubble cover over a GFIC outlet outside my patio. I was very happy with their professionalism and would use them again.

He gave an electrical inspection and then told me an estimate of $700 of things that needed to be done. They moved the furniture, but they didn’t move it back to where it was. I feel like I got nothing out of this deal.

Made Purchase of $39 Whole House Inspection and when I called to make appointmen Razvan was very courteous and efficient. He and Dave arrived in time and began investigating before they even stepping in the house by look at the side of the house to check if the the meter was up to code. They moved from room to room inspecting outlets, fans, and smoke detectors. They told me where smoke detectors should be located and if outlets were in need of upgrading to be up to code. They checked my electrical panel and also made sure if I had GFI outlets at water areas. They checked my AC and even looked at my pool pump and heater to make sure it was all up to code. It was a pleasure to meet two people who took their job seriously and do it in a professional manner. These are the type of businesses that survive. Worth every penny.

He told me he couldn’t come until February after I initially spoke with him before purchasing it at the beginning of December. I was out of town during the time he could come in February, so I requested a refund.

Razvan was great. He came to my house and gave me a quote on the spot. After getting two other quotes that were much higher, and the other companies were no where near as friendly as Razvan, I called Razvan and we scheduled the job. Razvan did the job super fast, in a few hours. I wasn't even present, just left the garage open and he did his thing. I really appreciate that because who can take time off work to watch someone else work? I trusted Quick Electric and it paid off. It looks great. I would definitely hire Quick Electric again.

Worst contractor experience I've ever had. Purchased the Angie's coupon - won't do that again or use Angie's list again.

Dave and Razavan showed up on time and were very professional. I explained we were preparing the house for sale and wanted to know if there were any problems we needed to take care of prior to putting it on the market. They left a detailed written list of what needed to be done and what probably should be done. They told me they could do the work but did not apply any pressure on me to have them do the work. The work is straight forward ( replace plugs with GFCI plugs, etc. ) and I told them I would make the changes.
