The provider never showed up for the appointment.

Went pretty well without any issues. Problems were identified and shown promptly.

We mutually agreed to put off the visit for the service due to conflicts in our schedules. When we did have the appointment, everything went very smoothly. He did an excellent job and was very helpful in identifying how to easily, correctly and cheaply correct some problems.

Inspection was fine. Very informative and professional. Answered all my questions in detail.

They appeared to do a pretty thorough electrical inspection, and were generally friendly and knowledgeable. They were pretty good while they were at my home. Afterward, though, was a different story. They never sent me the promised inspection report and quote on the work, and they've not responded to my requests for it.

The provider was prompt in the appointment for the electrical inspection bought in the deal. The prior phone contact was professional and clear. No need to play phone tags or long waits to contact back. I really appreciate making business with people who care about my business. After the paid inspection, the electrician identified the smoke detectors in the house were outdated and one was defective. They tried to get extra work by pushing me to change many of the recessed lights in the house by new LED ones. I signed an agreement for having only the smoke alarms updated and paid 10% as deposit. They came for the next appointment on time with all the supplies, did the work and left.. No mess. They were friendly but kept it professional. Nice

I was very pleased with their punctuality and politeness. They seemed to be thorough and attentive to detail. I would like to have the work done that they suggested. In the end, I may well have them do the work, as I felt very good about their recommendations and pricing, but since I know nothing about electrical, I'd like to get a second opinion to compare before I commit to the work that needs to be done and the price.

PAID FOR THE BIG DEAL, HE NEVER CALLED ME, I CALLED HIM, HE QUICKLY GAVE ME A TIME AND DATE AND RUSHED OUR CONVERSATION, AFTER HANGING UP THE PHONE, I REALIZED I COULD NOT KEEP THAT APPT DUE TO MY JOB. FINALLY GOT HIM EARLY THIS MORNING AND HE SAID HE WOULD CALL BACK, DON'T KNOW IF HE DID OR NOT, BUT HE SAYS HE DID, BUT I HAD TO CALL HIM AGAIN THIS AFTERNOON TO STOP HIM FROM COMING OUT TO MY HOME TOMORROW MORNING, WHEN I GOT HIM ON THE PHONE HE STATED HE WAS IN A MEETING, COULD NOT TALK AND FOR ME TO CALL HIM BACK LATER SO WE COULD RE-SCHEDULE SOMETHING, I DID NOT LIKE HIS TONE OF VOICE, DID NOT LIKE HOW HE CONDUCTS BUSINESS WITH A NEW CUSTOMER, JUST DID NOT LIKE HAVING TO CALL HIM, HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLING ME, I AM THE CUSTOMER. JUST SOUNDED LIKE HE WAS TO BUSY FOR LITTLE OLE ME AND I JUST DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT DEALING WITH HIM, AND I DON'T WANT HIM IN MY HOME, SO THAT'S WHY I WANT MY MONEY BACK. I WILL CALL ANGIES AT ANOTHER TIME TO ASK FOR A DIFFERENT PROVIDER OF SERVICE WHEN I AM READY FOR THE INSPECTION. THANKS

Quick Electric Service just finished up a testing the electrical system my entire house. I couldn't be happier with their performance; they were right on time, professional and quite knowledgeable (passing along ideas/tips that I never thought of). The team was very pleasant and there was no sort of "selling" which is a breathe of fresh air! I would absolutely recommend their services and will certainly call them for any electrical issues that arise.

They did the inspection but I felt they were giving quotes for work that didn't need to be done.

Terrible. They filed a mechanic's lien against my property. That action caused me to delay the refinance that I had in process. They also filed a lawsuit against me and I had to see an attorney and countersue to get a judge to remove the lien.

Inspectors found several non-critical problems and one semi-critical problem. Advised me how to go about planning for repairs/upgrades and why the electrical system was acting as it was (too many outlets per circuit). Their attitude was very professional and they did not push me to hire them to make the repairs on the spot.

I like them but electricians are very expensive. I prefer not to use them and do most of the work myself. They did a really good job of inspecting the house, telling me what to do, and making recommendations. I would recommend them to others.

Quick Electric, Razvan Panescu, was very thorough in keeping me abreast in the permit process and time &date the inspector would be coming. The work as told by Razvan, was done precisely and on time. The Oakland inspector came and passed the work done by quick electric. Now I am waiting for PG&E to come and give the final ok and I will call to the Oakland Inspector to come and sign the final permit process.

Every light $100 installed in ceiling (14 total) with new light switches. Light dimmers don't function and very difficult to use. My lights barely dim, the lights have began to flicker since he installed them. He didn't explain well how my house breakers work and left the project with them off and I had to have him come back out because the electrical did not work in part of my house and he seemed very mad at me. The most upsetting thing to me is that when I wanted to write a check for the work he asked me to write it in his name not, Quick Electric. He claimed that he gave me 3 dimmers for free but ended up charging me $150 for them. When I asked him what the $2,550.00 included, he told me "go in the attic and find out yourself." The Angie's List "Big Deal" for $49 never happened. He also accused me of calling him a vulgar name, which never happened, and threatened to get his company's lawyers involved. He took complete advantage of me because of my age and being alone.

They were great and they were able to come after hours and within a day or two.

Problem was due to a electric outlet under the patio where the dampness had interfered with circuit connection and was causing the panel switch to flip. The electrician replaced the power outlet and resolved the circuit connection problem. Since then, both the patio lights and the dock (hoist) works without any problem. Was advised to put a cap on the circuit outlet to avoid future shortage caused by dampness.

My experience with Quick Electric was not only what I expected, but they went above and beyond my expectations. II was very happy with the report that they provided. Great service I give them an A+++++ A very satisfied Angie 's List Member

Anymore, I'm just glad when people 'show up'. Quick Electric was a tiny late (to our hour time window), but showed up and was very honest in their 'quote'. Ours was a very old home with several 'problems'. They were honest in their assesments. IF we have anything done, they will be who we go with. Overall, a good experience. :)

What caught me by surprise is that Razvan called me first, and immediately wanted to set up an appointment. We did. When he showed up I explained the problem and went directed to the source of the problem and made the necessary repair. He mentioned that this task was 'out of scope' to what was outlined on the Angies list proposal but that he would not charge me extra. For which I was grateful. He also provide me with an estimate to upgrade my electrical box, and provided me with a list of the details involved. He stated to me that a permit would be required, "I must protect my license" he said. Of course he was right. Although, the issue I had was minor, I did appreciate that it was corrected within 1/2 hour. Thanks..jose

I missed them the first time because I got delayed at the doctor's office. They left a card and a phone message, and were willing to come back the next day, which I very much appreciated. They were here right on time and did the inspection of the house. There wasn't a lot to check out because I have kept home immaculately maintained, but wanted this final inspection to make sure I had taken care of everything that needed to be taken care of electrically. They did have a few "fixes" I needed to do, and which I will do. I'm very satisfied with their service.

On time (within the specified window). Went well. They pointed out some deficient areas, told me what it would cost to fix, but also showed me how I could do it (most of them) myself. One of the items was replacing the panel. Gave me a quote on that but I also see some available deals on Angie's deals list that are roughly half the cost of the quote they gave me so I may go that route if I decide to have it done.
