They were rushed and couldn't do the full and complete job. There were several items they were supposed to check but did not test. One of the guys had a bad attitude.

Showed up on time. Worked effectively and efficiently. Kept me informed of issues and gave me choices as to how to proceed with some problem areas. Friendly but professional. Did a good job of cleaning up after the work was completed.

They called once and no return call.

They were very thorough and gave me good news and bad news. They seemed knowledgeable and gave me a quote for future work that could be done.

There was nothing fancy about the fan...just had a light fixture in the middle. So because he had to put a different light switch to accommodate the fan, he charged me an additional $125 on top of the $75 coupon I purchased with Angie's List. I'm pretty sure I could have bought the switch for much cheaper at the hardware store, but didn't have the time to run out and do it. Didn't care to be told that my light switches were cheap and needed to be updated with Lutron switches, which I pointed out to them, that they were in fact that brand. So he said they were a cheaper end of Lutron switches.

I made an appointment and then forgot about it completely. Luckily the electrician called first, and when I didn't answer, he didn't come over. We talked on the phone, and I apologized, and he took it well. We made a new appointment. I rushed home from work to make the appointment. He had called earlier and left a message on my machine, asking if he could come earlier than our appointed time. I called him back and left a message on his cell phone, explaining that I'd only just gotten home, but that he could now come over. He didn't. I called again 20 minutes later and left another message. He never called back. That was a week and a half ago.

I was unable to use the big deal because they went on vacation when the coupon expired. However, they did reach out to me first -- but it was very early and I wasn't able to schedule the big deal. When I called them back, they were on vacation. I got that information from a recording.

It was rushed and probably efficient. I could not tell. I was just told several times that fire hazards existed in my kitchen and jthe panel box in the garage. I was given a yellow copy of the problems they found, but lightly written and not clear to read. I want to get these things resolved. So many events happened between October until now, I was not able to get these problems cleared up until now. I contacted Quick electric by phone earlier in the week and spoke with them requesting an email stating clearly what all the issues are and have not heard from them. Two staff arrived on time. Checked outlets, circuit breakers, outdoor electrical wiring, discussed code requirements and recommendations/cost to bring up to code. Although I have not yet had electrical work done, it is important to know what work is needed. Pleased with the service.

They were wonderful! They were pleasant, professional and lovely to deal with. Very courteous.

Just came and found fault with everything and wanted to replace everything - - thousands of $$$. Did not even want to check the "whole house" as promised.

They were a little hard to get a hold of because they were busy, but when they came, they got the job done. They didn't respond to emails, but they responded to the phone calls.

Although they pointed out a few important issues, it seemed like a scare tactic to sell their services

I have had bad experiences with Big Deals in the past and never had an opportunity to use this Deal so I have requested a refund from Angie's List.

Nicolae came to my home and scared me to death with the report that he provided. He bad mouthed Angie's List and claimed that he invented the coupons. There was another gentleman with him named Dave who stated he hates Angie's List. They pressured me to sign a contract to have complete re-wiring done in my home for between $15,000-$20,000. I got a second opinion about the work and found out that it should only cost around $10,000. Another friend told me that she's having her home rewired and it is costing her around $10,000. I've since cancelled the contract. His address is listed incorrectly. I finally was able to hunt him down and cancel my contract by sending a certified letter. I also put $1000 down payment on the work. Nicolae brought the check back and I ripped it up.

Provider was competent and professional. They checked all details of my house and its capabilities. At the end of the examination, it was determined that the cost for the installation would run to several hundred dollars. I chose not to have the work done. Please refund my Original $75 charge Ken

Definitely knew what they were doing. Very educational.

On Dec 28 I gave them 3 possible dates for service 1/10,1/17/, and 1/24. In a 12/31 e-mail I gave them the same dates. Never heard from them. Sometime last week I sent an e-mail asking for an appointment or a refund. Did not hear from them. Next Angie's list asks me to rate them and they get an F. Then I had a message last night on my answering machine saying they want to set up an appointment, and that is all it said. No explanations or apologies.

It was a little hard to schedule, but they were prompt about coming and called back when promised--a big plus. The inspection itself was more visual, and less electrical testing than I was thinking, but they found several code issues and wrote up a proposal to repair/replace several items and upgrade a few things as well. Like many of the Big Deal inspections, it seems like it's more of a visit to give an estimate on work than an independent take on the issues at hand. Of the 3 or so I've done (energy audit, electric and something else), I think this was more like an independent inspection than the others (the energy audit was pretty much a sales call, and the report a sales tool), as the discussion and report/bid was far more about the issues discovered and the risks associated (and the code). I would definitely have these guys look at an electrical issue in the future.

Love love love this vendor! My appointment for a whole house inspection was very detailed and revealed numerous outlets that were not grounded. I also had an estimate to upgrade existing can lights to LED, install new kitchen lighting, and upgrade smoke detectors. The work on my home took all day and was completed very much to my satisfaction. Recommendations were all undertaken and I feel 100% safe now in my home. I would highly recommend Quick Electric to anyone looking for great work at reasonable prices.

Provider forgot our December 2013 appointment, asked me to call back in January. Provider then showed up on 1-15 and I was not there, I think appointment was 1-16, he disagrees. Neither of us wants to re-schedule

The inspection was very thorough. I really appreciated their expertise and courtesy.

Moved into a new place and went to hang ceiling fans and noticed there was no support for the fans and needed to switch to metal boxes to hold the weight. These guys arrived next day and had me up and running. Was a little more then I wanted to pay, but price was probably right for what was done, they were there for a few hours and were very nice and courteous. Would use again!
