Wider Drains, Bigger Gains: Don't skimp on those drains! Wider is better, and remember, the magic truly happens underground with that 6" PVC pipe – crucial for keeping your oasis dry. 3. Futureproof with Tracers: Think ahead! Run those electrical and plumbing tracers for any future renovations. Thank your past self later! 4. Expert Ears are Golden Ears: Listen to your professionals! "The owner Paul came to our house, promised us a great job and no matter what even if the work was not right he would make it right. The first day his crew showed up around 11 am. Soon after we realized we possibly made a mistake by seeing his broken down equipment which was the main truck to put down the asphalt which had to be towed with the skid steer because it did not run And appeared to have Out of date Arkansas plates on it. The guys on the job worked until midnight and the owner Paul did not provide any food or drink for his people in the scorching Florida heat. We fed and provided the drinks. Paul and his wife showed up at midnight to receive their payment not giving us a chance to really see the driveway in the light. The next day we realized the issues. There was a large hump near the garage, and at the end by the road plus parts were not at 8 ft. Edges were very thin and Also they were supposed to trim the edges and clean up the asphalt that was left over. It was a mess. It is very bumpy. We called the owner Paul and he said he could not reach any of his people and that the asphalt factories were closed so he could not send anyone to fix our driveway. We agreed to wait. Approximately 2 weeks later a crew with homeless people that are not skilled workers showed up around noon without the proper equipment and William the homeowner had to use his tractor to break up the asphalt to get ready for the new asphalt. The new asphalt sat in the truck for about 6 hours because the proper equipment was not here for them to do the work. Apparently when the equipment was on the way the truck towing it had broke down. Once again they worked into the night about 2am and a patch of asphalt is not setting up properly and is lower than the original. So we have a new driveway less than a month old with patches. After contacting the owner about our displeasure he accepts no responsibilities for his business and hasn’t even been over to evaluate the situation himself. I gave the company a chance to fix. I don’t believe it can be fixed 100% due to the fact that Paul does not have enough skilled workers or the equipment to get it done. I now have to find someone else to help me get it fixed properly."
