Description of Work: I have used Terry's Plumbing several times for misc. household plumbing issues: broken pipes, leaky faucets, toilet repairs, etc. They came right away in an emergency situation, and within a reasonable amount of time for routine repairs. Service is always professional, courteous, and friendly. I will definitely call them as needed in the future.

Description of Work: 10/28/2010 $100. replaced an outside faucet that was leaking. answered my call promptly and did a good job. 04/27/2011 $85. lawn sprinkler system had developed leaks at the joints between plastic fittings and pipe in the garage and sprinkler system didn't work because of pressure loss. repaired the leaks by painting "goop" on the OUTSIDE of the leaking fittings between the leaking fittings and the pipe. (my opinion is that this is a SEMI-PERMANENT method of repair and that the fittings should have been replaced.) after the repair the joints no longer leaked but the system still didn't work. after investigating the plumber told me that the problem was the "points" on the pump motor and that they would look for some new ones and get back to me. how he knew that i don't know as i didn't see him take the cover off the relay. as i'm an electrical and mechanical engineer i took a look at the contacts on the relay ("points") and they were like new. i studied the system and found that the problem was an index valve leak and i replaced the valve and the system worked. i called terry's plumbing and told them i'd fixed the problem and wouldn't be needing the "points." i'd use them again for the standard kind of plumbing problems as they were prompt and had competitive pricing but i wouldn't recommend them for electro-mechanical problems.
