PILLAR TO POST PROFESSIONAL HOME INSPECTION

At the time, I thought the Home Inspection was sufficient. Not too detailed, but according to the inspection, there were no major issues found. Three years later, my family is being relocated to TX, so need to sell our home. I had an offer, and the Buyers home inspector found TONS of old and some current water damage behind the walls, and some old termite damage. I didn't know about any of these concerns. In fact, near the chimney there was a big green tarp that was capturing the rainfall that was coming in through the chimney. There were puddles of water in the tarp. All this old damage cost me the sale of the house, since the prospective buyers freaked and $7,000 to fix.

The man from Pillar To Post looked very professional. He gave me a tablet and folder with information about inspection. He inspected the house, but he didn't tell me there wasn't any insulation above or below my home or in the walls. He did not take the time to review much with me on his findings.
