We were told they could not perform the work we needed. The electrician who was sent to us showed up twenty minutes early (which was inconvenient), was matter-of-fact but not helpful in his manner. Though I found him brusque, he did explain that he could not do what we needed. He didn't seem interested or like he cared. He left after ten minutes and stated he would call us later in the day with an alternative plan. He never called us back. We had to phone the company the next day. And they said they had to "pass" on providing us service. We've been without a stove now for two weeks. Mind you, Henry's a company with whom we have spent thousands of dollars as customers-- they rewired our house when we moved here, put in new boxes, helped run new air conditioning to an apartment at the rear of our property. On other occasions, they've installed lights and run electric lines for us. And yet during this last visit they did not have the courtesy to treat us as valued customers. We called another company who is now installing up to code wiring as I write this. This work has taken less than an hour. Goodbye, Henry Electric. I recommended you to many folks, but never again.

Mannie is our technician, he is very trustworthy, we ask him all kinds of questions because we trust his input so much. They stand by their work, and did an excellent job. Moving to a new town is stressful and you worry about who you can trust, while developing new relationships with service professionals. Charles was on time and got right to work.? He quickly added an outside electrical outlet to our back porch and fixed the three broken recessed lighting fixtures.? We also thought we needed the outlet for a new stove to be changed but after checking it, he told us the original was just fine.? We appreciate his honesty and professionalism.? I'm sure we were probably an "easier" client with relatively simple repairs/additions but that didn't change how we were treated by everyone and Henry Electric. The office was quick to call back and schedule the appointment?and we did have to wait about a week for service (but ours was not emergent).? Don't let that put you off, it's completely?worth the wait to get this level of service. Thank you.

I LOVE this company. Charles explained everything he was doing as he went along. He was very professional and arrived exactly on time. I will definitely use Henry Electric again. Cannot say enough good things about them.

The electrician arrived on time with all the supplies. Went to work immediately by placing drop clothes below the ceiling work area. Helped me move a few pieces of furniture out of the way. Completed the work timely and efficiently. When a new soffit fixture did not work he immediately investigated and replaced the fixture noting the defect in manufacturing. Very pollite, professional, and efficient.

They did a fabulous job. Working with Scott to figure out what equipment to buy and working with the electricians to figure out the best way to install the equipment was extremely helpful. The guys they sent out were top-notch and really knew their stuff. When they were done, it looked like the equipment was part of the original install in the home. They were very attentive and helped me to figure out the most effective way to install the equipment. The only recommendation I would have is to make sure you get an estimate up front since I wasn't told what the rate would be for 2 people vs 1. Other than that, I can't say enough good things about what a pleasure it was to work with Henry Electric.

Wow talk about good ole American customer service! This is all about shop local and get blown away with the service and guidance from Henry Electric Company. The original call to Henry Electric Company was to see if they could increase the power to a mother in law suite and upgrade the exterior panel box. The reason was because I was changing out a water heater in the mother in law suite to a tankless water heater. The hot water was not lasting for a 2nd person who was taking a shower. This job would have been easily over $1K just to upgrade the electric panel and cabling. I was not looking forward to this job and had 3 other companies to come out to bid on the job. After talking to the son Scott, I believe, he asked all types of questions about the issue. I was like, "dude can you do this job or not, why the 3rd degree?" After all of this he suggested he have his dad come out and maybe all I really need is to change out my heating element to a more powerful one so it heats up the water faster. I was like, really .. Let's give it a shot. The father Henry comes out a few days later and he immediately reminded me of my dad. My dad is 76 yrs old and to this day he does service calls for his small business. I was like Henry, are you sure you should be driving, let alone get up in a ladder in the attic? Boy was I wrong!! The dude has more energy than I do, ha! I was thoroughly impressed with Henry and him coming out on time squeezing us in after a family emergency (sick dog) and reconfirming his son's recommendation. He gave me a price for the job and a date for the job to be completed. Bingo it worked out perfect. I unfortunately couldn't be on site for Henry but my wife was. She even said, OMG Henry is doing what? He's older than my dad .. All in all, Henry Electric Company will be our go to electrician for future jobs. He's honest, gives it like it is, gives great advice and awesome to see it's family owned. The son and wife take calls as well. Work was completed just as required. My wife felt that the technician was short and seemed like he didn't want to be there. The appointment to get the work completed had to be rescheduled twice. However the end result was just what we wanted. The price was right and the light works perfectly.

Keith and Doug showed up on time each day, were very professional and personable and communicated expectations well. They were not able to finish the ducting for the bathroom exhaust fans but gave me a discount on the estimate. Everything was installed really well and I have no complaints. I would call them again for electric work in the future.

Charles came out to help us install two light fixtures. He noticed that the last homeowner had not properly installed the existing light fixture and was able to quickly resolve the issue with the wiring - it was not to electrical code and was a safety issue. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I liked that he was happy to have me watch and learn while he worked. We will definitely request Charles back to do a few more electrician tasks that we have on our to-do list. It is really great to find a service provider in Central Florida that is as good as Charles from Henry Electric.

This was our second time using Henry. We had them install some recessed lighting a couple years ago. Experience was so positive that it was an easy decision to use again. Called them yesterday and they were able to send Doug out today to install the fan. Doug was a great guy - showed up on time, very friendly, and did great work. Have two great experiences with Henry now and would recommend them to anyone.

Expecting the in-laws to arrive at our house tomorrow for Christmas, we noticed our guest bathroom and master bathroom outlets were not working. Hoping to get someone out to the house to fix this problem today before they arrive, I called Henry Electric and someone was able to troubleshoot over the phone and get the outlets working! A simple fix if you know what you're doing; they walked me through it and were so kind in the process. You could tell they were happy to help! Couldn't be more grateful and will absolutely pass along the word of this wonderful company :)

Manny came out and replaced the old breakers. He,was pleasant, punctual and professional. I will be having him do some inside electrical next week. I have used Henry Electric several times in the last year and they are always good and priced very fairly.

I called in morning, and they were at my rental home within a couple of hours, called me to let me know what the problem was, took care of the problem, and emailed me an invoice. I appreciate their service!

My house was hit by lighting and in addition to damage a TV the breaker of a section of the house kept on tripping. When I call them the person on the phone help me trouble shoot. Told me different things to try and to call him if it did not work, 3 times . He really wanted to help me so I did not had to hire them, that's good customer service!. Anyway , at the end he did send somebody over, he trouble shoot the problem explaining all the steps, literally teaching me just in case the same thing happen. I was very please with the service, and they will be first in my list if I need again this type of service

Charles was wonderful! I called in the morning having returned home from vacation and found our power surging. Some lights went on, thermostat was out. Dryer caused lights to dim. all in all, thought we were in for a huge problem. Charles was quick, found the problem, corrected it and tested and repaired a breaker. Charles was very friendly and gave me great information. We would absolutely use them again if we need electrical repairs.

I hired Henry Electric to replace some light bulbs in a fixture that is very high up in a stairwell. David called me to discuss the work that needed to be done and suggested LED bulbs so they would not have to be changed very often (given the height of the ceiling). He arrived when he said he would, and had another family member electrician (I'm so sorry I've forgotten his name). I believe he was the 4th generation Henry. Anyway, they did the job professionally, and in the end also rewired another fixture that was in the same stairwell without charging anymore than the quoted price. I would highly recommend them.

Mr. Henry provided this service Friday afternoon, because he didn't want the home to have no power over the weekend. He identified the problem was not an electrical problem after all. As it turns out, the problem Diawas an underground utility issue.

Charles was very knowledgeable and efficient. I observed everything he did and he explained a lot of it to me. Everything is now working perfectly! I will recommend this company to everyone I know!

It was very alarming to find my dimmer smelling like burning plastic after a bad thunder. I, of course was worried sick that it could cause a fire and burn the entire house down. I talked to Scott who has absolutely amazing at calming me down and asking all the right questions to determine whether it was an emergency or something that could wait and determine if it was safe. Even though no actual physical service was performed, he was great at helping me out. He was honest and willing to recommend other companies that could come help in the next following days since they were booked until next week. I will definitely use Henry Electric for all my electric needs from now on!

My well pump failed, apparently after a surge or lightening strike early last Thursday morning. I decided to replace the control box that same day when I saw one of the capacitors was leaking, but in the end the pump had to be replaced. When I restored power after replacing the box, not only did my well pump still not work, but now none of the outlets in the master bedroom worked. For what it's worth, I've done lots of this kind of home maintenance work over the past 25 years without incident, so this was puzzling. I called Henry Electric Friday afternoon, explained my problem and discussed possible causes, but the person who schedules appointments was gone for the day and I had to call back Monday for that. Over the weekend I moved furniture, pulled outlets, moved wires from the compression fittings to the side screws and buzzed each out, but couldn't find the problem. In the meantime I ran two heavy-duty extension cords to another circuit to power the devices normally plugged into the powerless circuit. Monday afternoon I noticed that this circuit too had lost power and began to suspect the UPS that provides backup power to my DVR, so I swapped it with another one until Mr. Henry arrived the next day. Mr. Henry himself came to my home, listened carefully to what I told him then went pretty much directly to my problem. We went out to the breaker box and he noticed that I have a transfer box wired into the breaker box so our emergency generator directly powers certain circuits during an electrical outage. Apparently when I was checking the screws in the breaker box I'd leaned on the transfer box switches (it's manual, not automatic) and completely turned off the power to the first "failed" circuit. We speculate that the second was left teetering in an intermediate position for a couple of days before the force of the internal spring caused it to switch to the 'off' position as well. Flipped the switches and problem solved. Now, some might feel like Mr. Henry did very little, but I'd spent 4 days off and on (as new ideas occurred to me) trying to find this without success. I keep two bins of spare screws and washers stacked in front of the transfer box and might have gone weeks without noticing the problem, so I feel like it was money well spent on a lesson I'll never forget :).
