Description of Work: They installed the 3-way switch timer, which I would have never been able to do correctly! Also straightened some poorly installed switch covers by developer. Lastly, they replaced some recess lights (They had broken and I was having trouble removing them).

Description of Work: I am so glad that I used Henry Electric to replace my townhome unit's control panel on Aug 12. Owner Mr.Henry came to my unit and gave me a quote. He came earlier than the appointment's time and went through my unit to try to find out what caused my unit's control panel problem. He gave me detailed explanation about everything. He was very polite and professional and I trusted him instantly. His office manager Julie was very nice too and she reminded me to use their coupon on Angie's List for my service. Everything went very smoothly. They replaced my unit's panel for $890, the most reasonable price I can got from all my quotes, and my unit hasn't had any electricity problems since then. I was very satisfied with their great service and definitely will use their service again in the future and recommend them to all my friends.

Description of Work: I called one morning and a very nice lady answered the phone. She said a man could come out later that day. He was very nice and performed 2 simple services I needed done. He also remembered to give me the Angie's list discounted rate. I was very impressed and would recommend them.

Description of Work: As general manager of a large 30,000 sq ft store and café it's a constant challenge to keep all lights working all of the time. Well when it rains it pours and I found myself with a myriad of light fixtures not working, light switches shorting out and other electrical problems. So off to Angie's List.... |The Henry electrician was so polite, professional and just plain sweet and genuine. He communicated beautifully and kept me informed every step of the way. |*I liked them so much that they came to my house last week to fix an oversized front porch light that sits about 20 feet high. This was another electrician, however, he was polite, professional and communicative. He came late in the day and didn't have the right ladder with him so he said he would return in the morning. He did indeed return the next morning on-time. With proper ladder in tow he told me that he had an "a-ha" moment when he woke up and figured out the problem and fixed it in a jiffy.

Description of Work: He hung a large ceiling fixture and replace 2 dimmer switches. All went smoothly. Very affordable.

Description of Work: Changed out old "FPE" breaker box, wired and installed new coach lights on exterior of house, relocated dryer electrical outlet and trouble shooting of electrical switches throughout home.

Description of Work: Chose Henry Electric based on Angie's list reviews. Mr. Henry showed up to do the quote and seemed knowledgeable. However I had requested that he use Square D QO line panel/breakers and he talked me into using Cutler Hammer which he assured me was of comparable quality. It was only after I had to purchase a new breaker that I noticed he used Eaton BR series (Cutler Hammer was purchased by Eaton and is the Eaton CH series) which is the low end Eaton product. I had wanted a 200A service entrance, as that is what our meter supports, but he insisted we didn't need that with our square footage. Again, I should have insisted that he did the work to my specs, but deferred to his knowledge. | |Also the wiring in our house was outdated and the techs he sent to do the work wired up our air handler wrong (wired it for 120v instead of 240v because the white wire wasn't taped as hot despite the fact the old panel was wired for 240v) which resulted in an HVAC service call. After this fiasco they tried to charge us for rewiring and a 2 pole breaker but acquiesced after we argued for a bit. Work done was of a decent quality but I'm disappointed that they charged top dollar while talking me down to a low end panel and cheap service entrance. | |Based on all of this I would be hesitant to recommend Henry Electric at least without being 100% sure of the work I wanted done including the specification of parts as well as getting comparable quotes from a few other vendors.

Description of Work: Mr. Henry promptly and thoroughly explained the process of many electrical projects we were considering, inside and outside our home. We have decided to delay most of our projects but will consider Henry Electric for the future.

Description of Work: Diagnosed and replaced a defective GFI outlet.

Description of Work: Gave an estimate to install a power line for a pool heater. The estimate was very fair. However, I decided to use the company who installed the unit (For warranty coverage).

Description of Work: Found burnt out fuse in air handling system that prevented A/C from working. Replaced fuse and also determined and fixed cause which was due to shorted wire in heat pump. Check heat pump and Freon without any extra charge. Technician knew what he was doing and A/C works like a charm.
