We recently purchased a home in Vero Beach that has accordion shutters installed by Extreme Shutter Systems. The installation of the shutters was done well and the equipment was in very good condition. I needed the product approval information on the shutters for insurance purposes because the information provided by the County Building Department with the permit documents did not include the and quot;Notice of Approvaland quot; which is critical to obtain discounts for wind insurance coverage in Florida. I contacted the company and talked to Jackie. She was familiar with the property and the former owner. When I explained what I was looking for, she said she could help and promptly emailed me the proper document for our files. In addition, she offered to have a technician come out to the property to answer any questions I had about the operation of the shutters. This was excellent service for person who inherited their product. Based on this I recommend them to others for installation and service.

They aren’t the fastest but they have a lot of work they have lined up. The quality of work was good but the scheduling got stretched out quite a bit. I am back in Oregon. My daughter sent me pictures of all the windows and doors, and they look good. We can buckle up for a hurricane in about 15 minutes. I don't know what the going rate is for shutters but I thought their price was reasonable. I would definitely use them in the future if necessary.
