Summa & Tony's Air Conditioning snd Heating

They did good work, but I thought they were a little expensive. We did talk them down some. They wanted a lot more. I probably would use them again in the future, but I think I would shop around a little too.

Work done efficiently and at time promised.

Our A/C system is 16 years old, and they could easily have just recommended replacement (as our neighbors have experienced with other A/C service companies), but Summa and Tony's give helpful/expert advice to keep the unit running. We trust them implicitly and highly recommend to anyone looking for a responsible, responsive, and honest A/C service provider.

They were very courteous, professional and informative. They were very punctual and stayed until they knew it was working. Talked and emailed with Scott quite a bit before deciding and he was very helpful in answering any and all questions I had.

On Sunday evening our air conditioner stopped cooling. After checking breakers and thermostat it was apparent that the unit failed. We turned the system off. We called Summa's at 0800 on Monday morning and they had a repairman out by 0900. The repairman was familiar with the unit having installed it for a different company 13 years ago when the house was built and his having serviced it for us when we first purchased the home last year. He thoroughly checked both the outdoor and indoor machinery and identified that the capacitors had failed. He had the parts on the van and had everything completed within 30 minutes. He tested and checked the thermostat to make sure we were good to go. We have been very pleased with the fast response, friendly service and professionalism of Summa's and Tony's A/C.

I CALLED THE COMPANY FOR A ESTIMATE AND ONE OF THE INSTALLERS CAME OUT TO GIVE ME A ESTIMATE WHICH I LIKED INSTEAD OF SENDING OUT A SALESMAN. ALL MY PHONE CALLS WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WERE RETURNED PROMTLY EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE INSTALL. THE INSTALL WENT VERY WELL AS CONTRACTED . INSTALLERS WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AS WELL AS THEIR OFFICE PERSONNEL. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NEAT JOB ............. JOB WELL DONE .

A/C wasn't cooling and me being relatively new to the area and not having needed an A/C company before, I was trying to figure out who to call. While I was doing my research, friend/neighbor came by and said in the past he had used Summa's to replace his a/c unit and also Tony's for repairs/service. Summa and Tony's have since merged and are now Summa and Tony's Air Conditioning. I called first thing Friday morning, Mike said yes he could get someone out to me same day and said service call was $82. He also said he would call me when Technician was on his way, which he did. Less than 4 hours after my call, Chuck arrived and diagnosed unit as being low on Freon. What a relief that he didn't try to tack on anything else or make the problem more dire than it really was. As a single female currently sidelined from work due to an illness, I can't tell you how glad I was to have found a decent company. Chuck was polite and professional as was Mike and I will call them again when I need service and to replace the unit when the time comes.
