Gary was very prompt, answered my questions, and provided services for approximately $200 less than quoted by another handyman. I felt comfortable having him in my home and trusted the quality of his work.

I would highly recommend Gary and his crew. They are punctual, professional and their knowledge is impressive. In our conversations, I'm not sure there was much if anything they couldn't tackle. Hopefully I will be in a position to use them in the future.

Gary showed up on time and was punctual. he was knowledgable and gave me a very detailed description. He was also willing to work with me and emailed me quickly however it wasn't in my budget to continue with the job.

Gary came to my house prior to give an estimate of the cost and also review my needs (this was very important because I wanted someone to come into my house that care about my needs). He was easy to relate to and he was patience. We went over all of the details and completed the estimate. It took me a couple of days to select him, so when I called him, I was surprised that he remember the estimate and also what we talked about. He explained to me that since I changed the previous request the price would be different and also cheaper. So, because of our meeting before I trusted him to be fair (I never let anyone do work for me without an written estimate). So, when he started the project I was impressed with his professional attitude and speed. His crew was not sloppy and un-organization. He kept me updated with the progress of the project and ask for my and my wife's opinion when their were unforeseen issues that came up during the project (most handymen will do exactly what you say regardless of the outcome). When he and his team member was done they made sure they cleaned up and he also reviewed everything before he started writing out the invoice (very professional). He wrote out my invoice and I was very happy with the work he had done under the conditions and price. I am planning to use his services on bigger projects and I am very pleased with his work. These guys were awesome! They showed up in time and did everything as promised. They were friendly; clean; & very reasonable with their pricing. I will be using them again in a few weeks

No-show, no-call. Very unprofessional.

Wood floor and supports replaced, wall repaired, drywall, tiled shower wall and bathroom floor, installed new vanity, painted, replaced lighting fixtures. Lighting fixtures and ceiling fans also replaced in other areas of the house.

Being in Law Enforcement, I hesitate having anyone do work on my house. This is the 2nd time I've used Gary and his crew. Sort of caught him on short notice for this job, but NO PROBLEM, he answered the call. The first time I had him clean the gutters and haul away appliances and furniture I no longer wanted. This time he pressure washed the house, entire house painted, trimmed, hung up a new light, and added address numbers to the house. When he left he said "if you find anything I missed, call me and I'll come back and fix it". Punctual, professional and to the amount of his estimate! I highly recommend him if you need a job done and a job done right. I have PLENTY of work left for him to do over the next few months.

Rent a Son did more in a day than I could have done in a month. They work hard and smart, and look for what else they could do to help. We were so busy following our move that we couldn't get ourselves organized and settled; they came in and did it for us. Their workmanship was top notch, with great attention to detail. They were careful around our furniture, and cleaned up after themselves as they went along. Gary and Kyle were a pleasure to have around. I'm working on another list for them now.

Rent a Son of Central Florida, Inc arrived on time & began working immediately. I liked the fact that they were very professional, & extremely polite. They took out the original cabinet & sink in our main bathroom placing them in our garage. They then removed the loose safety handrails in order to install the cabinet medicine above the toilet. & then they re-installed the safety handrails & ensured that they were tight & secure. They installed the pedestal sink even though it was a tough job because of the existing plumbing. It was a long day for the workers, but they made sure that they completed the job. The main bathroom is now so much easier for my father to get his wheelchair around in the bathroom. He couldn't understand why I had this cone, but now loves it! I am very satisfied with the work that Rent a Son of Central Florida, Inc did & would not hesitate to call them again.

I had never used a handyman service before and I will admit I was nervous going into the process. In the end I was pleasantly surprised! Gary and his employee were great. They arrived at the stated time, performed the work efficiently and they cleaned up after themselves. When I spoke with the owner over the phone, he had given me an estimated time for how long he thought it would take to complete the projects and he was right on. Both men were hard workers and they seemed very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this business and will use them again for future projects.

I hired him to do just a few things. Gary and Kyle were so good I kept coming up with things I wanted done. They were always on time. They gutted a room and replaced the walls, removed windows, replaced windows, light electrical, fixed celing fans, removed ceiling fans, replaced several light fixtures, replaced several faucets which included kitchen and bathrooms, replaced shower heads. Removed vinyl flooring and replaced with new vinyl flooring, installed laminate floating floors. Removed cabinets installed cabinets. They seem to have done it all. They are a great one stop shop for all my remodel needs. I highly recommend them. They were a great price, honest, friendly and very prompt. All of the work Gary and Kyle did turned out beautiful. I originally hired them for 1 week worths of work, 3 weeks later my long list that I kept adding to finished. I trusted them enough to just give them the key to enter into home without me there.

Quoted estimate over phone. Arrived exactly at 8am as he said he would. Two guys, in two trucks, with trailers on each truck. That's a lot of equipment. Did the work and was done in 1 hour. Used his own equipment including power equipment. Friendly. No cursing. Clean outfits. Nice personality. Will absolutely be calling them back for other work at my house. Seemed like a good guy and the price is certainly right.

They were wonderful, pleasant, left no mess and did quality work. Everything exceeded my expectations. They even used some of the materials I had on hand.

I would strongly recommend Gary Heckle and his team to anyone seeking the type of services he offers. He arrived on time, was professional, competent and completed the work within the budget. When I called Mr. Heckle back because of a minor issue, he responded promptly, showed up the same day and fixed the issue. I was extremely pleased with his workmanship and everything else associated with his company. My neighbor ended up using Mr. Heckle on my recommendation and she has also given him high marks!!

I knew that I was going to have a great experience with him when he responded to me while he was on vacation. He has explained everything very well. I spoke with him about purchasing materials and he had no problem with me purchasing the materials myself. We went to the store together to pick up the materials and he began work on my homes the 8th of April. I will be going to see his progress this Sunday and I am very excited to see how everything is turning out. Anytime that I have needed something, he has been able to provide me with reliable contacts of people that he has used before. I plan to update this review once the work is fully complete.

Rent a Son of Central Florida always helps me out of jams. Gary Heckle is very knowledgeable and helpful. He shows up on time and can repair most things on my "Honey-Do" list at a reasonable rate. Called Gary on Monday afternoon, and it just so happened he had an opening in his schedule the next morning. He showed up as promised at 10:00, inventoried what he needed for the job, and was back with parts. The job was completed by 2 pm.

I called Rent-a-son of Central Florida after a friend told me about the excellent work Gary Heckle did for her. Gary returned my call promptly, gave an estimate in a timely fashion, showed up to work when he said he woud and completde the job under budget and on time. What a pleasant experience! I have used this company again since and had the same experience.I will be calling Rent-a-Son again!
