Truly Nolen Pest & Termite Control of Englewood, Florida

Fantastic! The service people are efficient, knowledgable, reliable and they get the job done thoroughly every time, inside and out. I have never seen an unwanted pest in our house. We use Truly Nolan inside the house just be certain that we never have a problem inside. Outside they are also great at making the fire ants disappear. I truly believe that the pests are afraid of Truly Nolan's fun cars and trucks scare the critters away! My husband and I would recommend their services to everyone.

We are still with them and will continue to do so. Very professionally run with ample notification. Good job keeping the bugs away.

Truly Nolen goes beyond their regular service, as we are Snow Birds, we are not there all year. However, when we do come down and notice a potential issue, we call Truly Nolen and they respond almost immediately, even if they had just been out for routine visit. I am very pleased with their service and friendly staff

We had them for service since 2007. We ended up with Palm rats in the attic and over $20,000 in repair for termites. I feel if they had been doing the INSPECTIONS correctly it would/should of been found before all the damage.

Very well. The representatives were very knowledgeable and helpful. They explained all my choices and options for treatment. Then they went to work and were thorough. I signed up for service for a year.

They show up ontime every quarter, do the same work each time by the same person. No real complaints. We have called them back out once or twice if we see an increase in bug activity (ants, spiders). They're mostly focused on the outside of the home to prevent the bugs from getting in which makes sense, rather than just treating inside. Either way they came out and worked some areas when we requested without any hassle.

Our first meeting went well, and we were quoted a price for pest control services included with the Truly Nolen Four Seasons program. While the salesperson was here he explained to me the difficulty arachnids presented for pest control. He did a whole house, inside and out examination and showed my husband what the web and eggs of a Black Widow Spider looked like. He them destroyed the web and eggs, and my husband was told that if he continued to knock down any webs he sees between our scheduled appointments it would be beneficial to me and my phobia, and in keeping our house an unwelcoming place for for them to make webs and lay eggs. Our next scheduled perimeter spray went very well also. It is then that we met the gentleman who became our usual technichian. He is a great guy, and we not only considered him our pest control technician, he became someone we trusted and quickly became someone we called a friend. He took extra time with us, explaining different bugs, the known strengths and weaknesses they had, and what we could do to keep our house free of them. We wanted to learn everything we could to keep our house free of some of the bugs that I've only seen on television, and knew of the nightmare they coud cause. Today, while I was at an appointment, the outside perimeter of our house was sprayed by the same guy who has been here many times since becoming his customer. When I pulled in my driveway, the evidence that he had been here was visibly displayed by the front door-- A brand- new Truly Nolen sign, free of wrinkles and weather wear. He knows how much I love having the sign displayed in my yard! My eyes then went to the wall of the house and I noticed the BIGGEST, FASTEST, SCARIEST spider I have EVER seen. I jumped out of our car, asked my husband to watch it the so it couldn't get away and lay egges and I ran in the house to get the phone number to call our usual technichian, and ask him to come back to the house and identify first, and then kill whatever kind of spider it was. I was told he went home for the day, and the lady put me on hold. She then came back on the line and told me "Gary" would be coming instead. At that point, I was just thankful that SOMEONE was coming. I went back outside, and waited for Gary to arrive. Five to seven minutes later, I called back, explained to the same lady I only live a block away, and she assued me he already left in one of the company cars, he should be there litterally, any second. I went back outside and approximately 2-3 minutes later, losing every last bit of my patience jumped in my car and DROVE to the office to prove I wasn't far away and wanting to know why it was taking so long.When I pulled in the driveway of the business I saw an older gentleman standing by a company car and asked if he was the one who was suppose to come to Pendleton Ave to handle the spider situation. He told me as long as the spider was not inside my home YET-- he considered it "beneficial". I told him, since I am a paying customer, I will decide what I consider "beneficial" I left the parking lot, went back to my house, and told my husband nobody was coming, and he was gonna have to kill it. I was very upset and quite shocked by the lack of consideration I was given.There was a second employee who apparently could tell I wasn't happy and after I left the parking lot of Truly Nolen, he took it upon himself to ask about mycomplaint to see if he could be of assistance. My husband had sprayed the spider with RAID, and as he was approaching my husband the spider lost his last grip on the house and was dead. I was very unhappy with the treament and interactions I had with the lady who took my calls. It was VERY OBVIOUS the man she told me was coming to help, had not leff the parking lot, even though she told me had left in the car and should be at my house any minute. I was very unhappy with the man who decided because the spider wasn't inside my home, he considered it to be beneficial, and thought his opinion could override mine, as a paying customer, and what was the final deciding factor in my decision to seek Pest Contol Services elsewhere, you ask? The call I received from the office manager of the Englewood Branch. He was the most disrespectful, offensive person I have encountered in a managerial position ever! In my opinion, he should not work in customer service, especiall when the customer is unhappy and expressing a complaint. Instead of trying to calm the situation, he actually made it worse! He lacks the skill set needed to effectively address unhappy customers, and does not represent the the vision of Truly Nolen well.

It was not a great experience. We would make an appointment and they would show up on a different day. They did not do what they promised. We will not be renewing with them.
