I know that with this amount of work there is no one else I would want to trust other than Nick and his Team. I feel secure and confident knowing that Nicks in charge. Everything is on or ahead of schedule , there is constant communication and pictures with updates and questions. He also has a great eye, be it paint colors, fixtures, lighting or anything I have questions about. Nick and his team also know what works and what doesn't and what I value about them is there ability to not cut corners in any way. Their integrity and relationships with not only us ( the owners ) but also the other contractors that they hire is one of mutual respect and that comes through the workmanship. At the end of each day Nick goes over each project with a laser eye and if there is something maybe askew will not hesitate to have it rectified. Our project is still ongoing but I know when I get there in November, everything that was committed to be finished will be and will be of the highest caliber of pride and workmanship.

The job was started and finished in July 2016 and went swimmingly well. Nick and Bob were very professional and offered good advice. We are extremely satisfied with the completed high quality results, and plan for them to update our kitchen and bathrooms for our next project.

Transformers did an incredible job for us. From start to finish it was seamless. They drew up several design plans for us to pick from...all so beautiful we had a difficult time deciding. Picking out tile, etc. was so easy as they provided us with catalogs making countless trips to secure samples eliminating the need for us to shop the area. First day on the job they went about protecting adjacent areas of the bathroom from dust and dirt; our hardwood floors covered in a unique and sturdy way to avoid traffic damage. Each day vacuuming was done even in our garage. We were never mired in dust particles. The expert plumber, electrician and tile setter were very professional, courteous and never wasted a moment. Nick and Bob kept us in the loop for all decisions and options. Our shower drain had serious problems which they meticulously resolved; insisted on it being dried out thoroughly and professionally treated for any potentially lurking pests before tile setting. We were impressed with this required attention to a problem we had long suspected. At the completion of the job, all was returned to normal; thoroughly cleaned so that we had literally nothing else to do but enjoy. The end result was nothing but outstandingly beautiful and very functional. Not given to effusive reviewing, we must say our experience with Transformers was wholeheartedly appreciated in all ways. We highly recommend their expertise in ideas, design, recommendations and abilities.

We cannot praise Transformers enough. They helped us pick out our bathroom and shower floors, our faucets, etc., making numerous trips to various places to bring all sorts of samples saving us trips and time running around the area. They gave us drawings of several design options that were so beautiful we had a difficult time deciding. They were more than happy to see that WE were happy. They were very flexible in working around our schedule, wanting to make it at our convenience and time frame. The first day they Biz-queened all areas sealing off closets and other adjacent rooms to keep them free of the dust and dirt accompanying removing tile. Also laid down protective covering for our hardwood floors...fantastic stuff! Before leaving each evening, they vacuumed where they walked to and from the bathroom and also the garage. They exposed the area of much concern which was our shower drain, explained what needed to be done to ensure that it was dry and treated so as to stop any invasion of unwelcome insects, etc. The plumbing, electrical work and tile were done to perfection. They wanted to make certain we were in the loop of what was going on at all times, how long it would take and getting our opinions on options. All workers coming to our home were outstanding. Courteous, professional appearance and never wasted a minute. We are so elated with the finished product. Not only that but they spotlessly cleaned the area so there was positively nothing that we had to do. We are planning other projects in the future and have already told them to expect our call. Not customers who are in the habit of giving effusive, undeserved reviews, we are nitpickers par excellence. Transformers are THE BEST.

The work was done professionally and in a timely manner. We were kept updated on the progress of the job. We are very pleased with the results and will call them again for all of our remodeling plans.

This vintage 1959 bathroom was in serious need of an overhaul, partly because the shower ceiling was falling in (for the second time) rendering the shower unusable. It was decided that we would have them cut through the terrazzo floor to remove the original galvanized drain pipes to the sewer line, due to their age and projected life. The two owners did most of the demolition work, taking everything down to bare stud walls. They discovered termite damage in some of the studs in the shower wall, removed them and arranged a termite inspection to ensure there was not a current problem before replacing them. The terrazzo floor was cut into and the old pipes removed.Once the new drain pipes were in, and the rough in inspection was done, the dirt that had been removed was put back, the required termite soil treatment was done and cement poured to seal the floor. At this point, they also discovered the reason for the shower ceiling caving in?..nail holes/leaks in the roof! The nail holes were patched, and then we watched for signs of more leaks. Which we found. :/ Time for a new roof. Estimate requested. The plumbers re-piped from the water inlet to the bathroom, replacing the old lines, and roughed in for the new fixtures. The electrician roughed in for a new light in the shower, one in the main area, new wiring for the replacement light over the sink and an exhaust fan. Drywall up! Suddenly it started to look like a room again. This is followed by ceiling texturing, primer and 1st coat of paint on the walls. Ceiling lights, exhaust fan, switches and outlets finished, vanity light installed. Waterproofing of the shower stall was next and after initial inspections, the tiling began...shower and floor. The waterproofing system is pretty darn amazing, even the inspector commented on how much he likes it. New roof installed and inspected?.just in time for the big rain. Custom vanity, wall cabinet and corner cabinet set in place. Wow. Going to look great! The sink can?t be set in until the counter-top is done, and that is delayed a bit. Once it came in, the sink and counter top were installed quickly, along with the cap for the shower threshold and the windowsill (all the same stone counter top material). The glass shower door came and was installed. Beautiful!! Except for that little chip on the edge. Darn it! No problem, new one ordered and in the meantime this one stayed in anticipation of using the shower sooner than the replacement would arrive. (When it did, it was no big deal for them to swap to out.) Now for the faucets, showerheads, toilet. This we had to wait for, as the finish plumber was sick for 3-4 days. Finally??oh happy day!!! We once again have two functioning bathrooms! Last of all were the cabinet handles and drawer pull, grab bars in the shower, finish the moldings, baseboards paint. We?re now waiting for the FINAL inspection, which should happen this week. I?m sure I?ve missed a few points here and there, but we are sooooo happy with the new room. We didn?t have a really clear vision of what we wanted, but Nick and Bob listened to us, advised us and refined our hesitant ideas into a beautiful new room that fits the house yet looks modern. They were knowledgeable about every step in the process whether they did the work themselves or hired it. They were professional, friendly, punctual and kept us informed at every step, made sure we were happy with various stages through the process.They took pride in their work and the work of their subcontractors. If something wasn't just right, it was done again.

Nick is absolutely phenomenal. He is very meticulous and an incredible carpenter, very clean and nice to work with. Nick provided some great suggestions on what to do in the house and I have followed his suggestions which were all great ideas. I would use him again and would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

My unit is not quite complete. We are out of state and working closely with Transformers. Will finalize review later

I bought a vanity and countertop on Craig's List and needed some holes drilled. I called Nick who was more very professional and courteous. He said he does not cut the granite and Zodiac countertops himself but Instead of brushing me off, he took the time to direct to a me to a quality local shop that does.

We are extremely pleased with the result. The project involved a lot of work in a small footprint and Transformers managed the multiple trades that were needed seamlessly. They performed much of the work while we were away but kept us well informed with emails, pictures, and phone calls. We will certainly use them again for future work at our Florida home. We highly recommend Transformers.

Nick from Transformers always got back to me with info about my work being done and he emailed pictures. I live in Boston and was having the work done in Florida so communication was key. We are pleased with the electrical, concrete and tiling that was done. I haven't seen the finished product in person but feel from the pictures all is well.

It went very well. We were pleased with their professionalism and creativity. In the end we decided to proceed with such an extensive renovation as the cost was more than we are willing to put into our current home. I do however believe that the cost is reasonable for the plan the company provided.

They came at the appointed time and were very knowledgeable and pleasant but never got back to me. I've received plans from others free of charge.

They were very responsive, stayed on top of it and gave us great recommendations. Nick was outstanding, had great follow-up, and stayed in touch.

When questioned concerning plans was told that none were available and then furnished his hand sketched sheet (which was was not accurate), and and sent his detailed cost estimate, which was not requested.

Nick had lots of ideas for our kitchen and living areas. He was very professional and provided a timely estimate.

We had worked with Nick and Bob in our previous home in which they remodeled the kitchen ceiling and installed new tile flooring. When we bought a home on Venice Island that was built in 1955 and which had never been updated or remodeled, we immediately thought of Nick and Bob to work with us in a complete remodel. Before we even purchased the home, Nick and Bob inspected the house with us to offer advice and counsel as to what needed to be done, and work with us on our vision of the completed project. They took our ideas, made suggestions of their own, and presented plans detailing what the finished product would be. They were diligent in securing the required permits for the construction. The demolition work included removing an interior wall and digging up a bathroom and kitchen floor to replace a main drain. When that work was done, new walls were built and textured to match existing walls. New ceiling lighting was installed and ceilings were textured to match the walls. The electrical system was brought up to existing codes with new outlets inside and new lighting was installed outside. New floor tile was installed throughout the house. All new cabinetry was installed in the kitchen and bathroom, along with tile backsplash, countertops, and appliances. New hurricane strength and energy efficient windows were installed as well as removing one window and replacing it with sliding doors leading to the pool deck. New interior and exterior doors were installed. New ceiling, floor, and door molding was installed, and the entire house was painted inside and out. Additionally, Nick and Bob supervised the installation of an inground swimming pool, expansive pool deck, and fence. The workers that Nick and Bob brought to our home were experienced, skillful, courteous, timely, flexible in accepting new ideas, and left our home clean and neat when their work was completed. When questions or problems arose, Nick and Bob handled them immediately and totally satisfactorily. They held workers to the same high standards that they possess, and made sure that no project was complete until it met their standards. We had never participated in such a huge project as this before, and Nick and Bob were extremely helpful in explaining every step of the process and in making suggestions as to choice of materials and fixtures. They handled our personal concerns with grace, even creating a corner where a corner never existed before to house a prized heirloom corner cupboard. They recycled cypress paneling which was removed from one of the demolished walls and had it made into a dining room table top which met our specifications. Their contributions like this are too numerous to list, and all integral in the beauty and livability of the finished project. Both Nick and Bob are perfectionists, skilled, knowledgeable, professional, courteous, trustworthy, and hold high standards for their work and those who work with them. Their work is timely and neat. That was especially important since we were living in the home during the entire time the remodeling progressed. They were very conscious of our living situation, and made every accommodation to mitigate any inconvenience that accompanied living in a home undergoing such transformation. We have high praise and recommendation for Transformers Building and Remodeling.

Its absolutely gorgeous. If we didn't already have our own home here (and let me add Nick remodeled this whole house to perfection) we would have moved into this new home in a minute. The Master bedroom shower is beautiful with the new tile and glass door. It looks wonderful. Every time they would find something that needed fixing they would call us immediately. They did a great job. They are so easy to work with and they always are on time. The most important comment I will make is that they keep you informed throughout the whole project of what's going on. There are never any surprises. Not only do they remodel but they came up with ideas that would have never crossed our minds. We actually could give them any project and just say go with it and it will be beautiful and perfect. We would absolutely hire them again and actually we already have a list of projects we are looking into for our own home. We trust this company with everything they do. Again, great job once again!

It went very well. They hired the sub contractors that they trusted and supervised the entire rebuilding process. Which included moving existing furniture out of the house and back again. Repaired and replaced water damage walls, remediated and possibility of mold. Replaced bottom cabinets in kitchen and both baths. Replaced floors to original state including rugs and flooring. When flooring wasn't to their liking they made sure the flooring was changed to match the original......this they did on their own, looking out for me, in terms of quality products. Hired a cleaning service after construction which was a very nice "touch". Overall I was extremely satisfied with Transformers Building & Remodeling.

They were punctual and honest about the cost estimate. They answered all of our questions and Nicks wife answered Realtor related questions during the same visit. Unfortunately the house had too many required repairs and the cost was not in our price range.

The bathroom looks great. It took longer than estimated.

They showed up as promised and worked each day until the job was completed. Their craftsmanship is excellent and exceeded our expectations. The rooms are now complete and look perfect. Bob and Nick are real pros and everything about the entire job was done to the highest standard. They strive for a level of perfection that exceeded ours and it shows in the completed project. We intend to use Transformers, Bob and Nick in the future for our next project. On a further note they were a pleasure to have in our home and I was completely comfortable with them in the house wether we were there or not. You can not go wrong with these guys!
