+ -1 moreRoofers went crazy with a nail gun on siding flashing and speared the water line. Stephen showed up on time, got a quick fix in place by dark (it was outside on the roof). He returned the next day and completed the repair. He also helped document the problem with photos so we can try and get compensated by the roofer. Great job. Thanks!
Description of Work: Roofer put a nail into hot water pipe on second floor while water was shut off. Found leak days later when we turned the water back on.

He is a master plumber.Totally impressed in every way and a fair and honest plumber. Because the job did not take as long as he estimated on the phone, he lowered the price! He quickly repaired the 2 problems noted above, and then spent some time exploring another aspect of the 'knocking pipes' after eliminating the easy cause (air hammer). He was able to describe the most likely cause--inadequate support to the pipe going to the shower head--and what can be done to correct it when it becomes more of a problem.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and explained the problem of 'air hammer' and how to correct it. He also replaced a defective cartridge in a shower faucet that was dripping. He also diagnosed a 'knocking' pipe problem and what would be involved in correcting it.

+ -1 moreThe work was well done, the technician courteous and professional. The price paid was outrageous in my opinion, but I needed it done quickly. You will definitely pay through the nose if they know there is a time constraint. $400 for an hour of work.

+ 2 moreHe called to tell us every time he was coming (this job took a week due to having to pour cement around the relocated shower drain,and build a sill for the new sliding glass doors). There was no dust because Stephan sealed the bathroom during the work and taped down floor covers. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him; he does very neat, professional work.
Description of Work: Took out tub and installed walk-in tile shower,installed two toilets and 2 sets of faucets (different bathroom)...lots of tile work; Moen valves.

+ -1 moreStephan was early and completed the tasks within an hour and a half. There was no mess to clean up. Stephan was recommended to me by my realtor. We have used him 3 times in the last 15 months and found him to be very reliable.
Description of Work: Stephan replaced the main water shut off valve to our condo. The valve is located towards the back of a closet with the water heater next to it. It called for delicate torch work to solder the valve. In addition, Stepan replaced a cartridge in the master bath shower to stop a leak. He also changed the water filters under the sink. Last December, 2009, Stephan took out the old 30 gallon water heater and replaced it with a new one. That cost $550.
