Description of Work: Mr.Kirkey came to my home to give me a free estimate. He was on time. Kirkey Roofing e-mailed me an abundance of useful information concerning insulation along with their proposal. However,I felt the job cost was excessive. The area to be insulated was approximately 1,600 SF. Owen's Corning blown in fiberglass would be added, 12" deep, to bring the R-value up to approximately 46. The proposed cost was $2,000.

 + -1 morePresentation of the proposal was very professional and complete, although I was a little concerned when she wasn't sure how to handle a couple of details on the roof and needed to call for an opinion on something that should have been somewhat common though certainly not run of the mill. We decided to go with a lower bid that used the same materials.

 + -1 moreKirkey Roofing notified us 3 days before they came that they would be starting the job. Their crew arrived on time and started protecting our property with tarps. During the installation , they answered all of our questions, made helpful suggestions and left the property clean. Their crew was very respectful and very professional. The mitigation inspection saved us $800 on our property insurance.
Description of Work: Kirkey Roofing completely reshingled the roof of our house. They removed existing roofing, re-nailed deck, replaced all bad wood and renailed roof deck. They installed new underlayment, new drip edge and new lead pipe flashings, new vents, and new ridge vents. They then supplied our insurance company with a mitigation inspection report.
