Africanized honeybees had established a hive under the roof eaves. I called Bob van der Herchen Apiary Services who responded to the call within 2 hours. Bob sent his nephew Chris Carey (of Cowboy's Bee Round-up) to handle the job. Chris arrived promptly that same afternoon. It required two days to completely remove the hive, remediate the area, and make all repairs to the house. All bees were removed in a humane manner and were relocated to a hive where they could be bred to remove the African strain from the bees. The work was handled in a completely professional manner. Great attention was paid to safety procedures. The repair work was of high quality such that there is no visual evidence of removal of the hive. The quoted price was extremely reasonable, and was inclusive of all materials cost for the remediation and repairs to the eaves and walls. The company provided a one year written guarantee and warranty for all work. This is a terrific company, and I highly recommend them.

Our landscaper found a large active bee hive when he was attempting to trim an oleander bush in our backyard. After calling several exterminators, we stumbled on the Bee Removal and Rescue website.
