David Appelo and two of his crew came to our house after several phone call attempts after the first leak. Three attempts to fix the leak have failed and now a new leak is present in a different part of the roof. Since the second leak, I have made three calls to David’s cell phone and four calls to his office. In the only call that was returned, David told me he would call me back. He has not called me back. This is June 19, 2017 and the leaks continue. update: Following the initial review, an employee of Apex came by June 27th and July 3, 2018 and worked on the leaks. After informing Apex that one of the one leak continued, David Appelo called and made an appointment for July 11, 2018. David came by yesterday with an associate and worked on the roof for an hour and a half. When they left, David explained what he did to repair the leak and believed that he was successful. It rained hard that evening and the roof did not leak. I informed David that he was successful and was told to call him if the leaks started up again. For now, I have upgraded his rating to “B”.

Excellent. Job was completed on time and all of the workers were friendly and professional. I have had many compliments on the roof.

Estimator showed up and said client needed a new roof. Company never provided an estimate for repair and does not answer phone, text or email messages despite numerous attempts over a week. TERRIBLE customer service. Highly unprofessional.

The work involved removing the tiles, rotted tarp paper and rotted wood. They also replaced the exhaust vent on the roof. All the work was done in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend their services.

Not Well...never heard back from them! I kept calling to inquire what was happening until I just left messages. They never called back.

My roof was installed while I was away on vacation and my neighbor was aware of this work being done. Prior to any change in plans, the workers would telephone me to verify what I wanted done and did only that. The only problem that I would report is that the clean-up after the work was done was not complete. I found several nails around my home and in my driveway.

I give up on Apex. I phoned last Thursday at 1pm asking them to come and estimate cost of a new roof, and they said they'd get back to me. I called a second time on Monday at 2:30pm and they said the owner didn't receive my message Friday, but was on his way in and I would be his top priority. Yesterday at 1pm I called a 3rd time and it went to voicemail. I explained I was still waiting to hear back, and repeated my name, phone and address. Don't know why they have such a high rating. UPDATE: Please see my April 17 review, where I was frustrated that there was no response from my original April 10 phone call. Today, April 22, the owner returned my call, apologizing for the backlog of messages. His administrative assistant was out with medical issue, and he is working with 8 crews in SW FL, and he still has ten weeks worth of work scheduled. He's very grateful for all the high reviews by those who have rated him with superior grades on Angie's List; i told him that's why I bothered to call a 2nd and 3rd time. I accept his apology and understand how important his business reputation is to him. I withdraw my original April 17 negative review and replace it with this one. I sure would have enjoyed working with Apex, but I can understand they have plenty of business closer to home. Those of us in Lee County need not request work from him at this time.

I received several quotes for a new roof over my lanai. David Applelow was the only one who went up on the roof, showed me photos of my roof and told me I didn't need a new roof - only a coating and sealing at a much lower cost. I did as he said and am very pleased.

Wow, If you need a roof done and you are near Englewood I would use this guy. You can tell he cares and he cares about his clients and about his reputation. He doesn't just look at you as just a roof or a job but building a relationship. I live in Bonita Springs which is a bit far from him but he spent over 10 minutes helping me with references to use in my area and what I should look for in making a decision. He spent time which is such a precious commodity these days even though he was going to get no financial interest in my project. Nice to know people still go out of there way to help others. Give Dave a call you will see what I mean.

After three phone calls to Apex (because they had such a good rating on Angie's List), we finally had someone return our call. They in essence told us that they were too busy to send an estimator at this time. The one person that worked in the area had injured his foot, so there was no one that could come estimate a job for us. We were very disappointed -- and feel strongly that even though it is a good thing their business is so successful, treatment such as we received will not keep them in business long.

Arrived in a timely manner. Worked until 3:30 - 4 PM, fighting afternoon heavy rain storms. Job completed in 4 days. Cleaned up great.

They were on time, very professional and cleaned up after they were done. They went over and beyond my exceptions. They saw minor fixes and didn't charge me extra for them. Compared to other companies they were the best price overall.

The roofer was ready, and the general contractor was behind schedule. Apex rescheduled and were very accomidating. Everything went as planned and the rooof looks the best in the neighborhood. Metal roof...copper penny...50 year roof!!!

We were home only for the initial work up on the roof. When we returned, the work was done and the surrounding were cleaned up very nicely. Esteban and his crew did a great job.

It went well. He kept us informed on the progress and inspection. Priced good. Sent us thank you card and a survey for company how they did.

I had a rotten beam on the lanai because of the roof leaking at some spots. Started next day, left the place spotless clean everyday. Did an excellent job, everything looks perfect. Never had to spend a lot of money but feel good! Very trustworthy owner, can do business with handshake!

Great company to work with. They kept in touch all through the job.

After researching area roofers I received several contractor estimates to complete my residental re-roof. My wife even said it was a good call and that's saying something. From start to finish they were punctual, profession and hardworking. The owners of Apex Roofmasters monitored the job as part of quality control and contacted me throughout the process to gauge my level of satisfaction and answer any questions. One of the owners of Apex Roofmasters told me they were trying to build their business by doing quality work for a reasonable price. I'm a believer.

We moved into our home only to find the roof had a leak. We were new to the area from out of state. Not knowing anybody in the area we contacted Dave at Roofmasters. Dave came right over the same day I called him and examined the problem and gave me an estimate. They were here to fix the roof exactly when he said they would. Roofmasters are professionals, courteous and punctual. I would and will use them again. Dave has gone above and beyond the scope of roofing to help us get acquainted to our new area by giving us advice on many things. Thanks Dave!!

It was very good. They were excellent and had good people. They did good work. They had a good competitive price. Their price was the best out of many other people.
