+ 0 moreThe work went very well. He seems honest and showed up when he said he would, did a nice job and cleaned up his mess when he was done. He does good work and is dependable and punctual. These are qualities that many workers, unfortuately, do not have. He was great and it was a relief to have the work done.
Description of Work: I had two large windowsills with attached flower boxes that were rotting and needed replacing. It had started to get bad and I needed it repaired before it really affected the house. George Hoffman came and gave me an estimate, and said he'd be back the next week to do the job. He came back on the date promised and finished all of the carpentry work. The only think he didn't get to was the painting. Since I was at work, he left a note saying he'd be back the next day to paint. He followed through on his promise, and when I came home the next evening, everything was done. He came back on one separate occasion to replace the weather stripping on my door. It too was in bad shape. Again, he came when he said he would and performed the requested job. Although these are the only things he did for me, he said he does all kinds of work, including plumbing.

Description of Work: Enlarged a doorway for wheelchair access and installed a new door.
