Christian Buehler Tile

I got Christian's number from a friend who had their house tiled by Christian and the job was beautiful. Especially the large master bath which had an intricate mural in the wall. Flawless job. The job I had was much smaller, roughly 500 sq./ft. living room and kitchen common area. I purchased the plank porcelain tile, thin set, grout, etc. through All About Floors and More in Edgewater and hired Christian to install it. I called Christian at 386.589.7928 and set up a time for him to come by the house and give me an estimate the next day. He showed up promptly and we discussed all aspects of the job; layout, problems with slab (uneven), etc., and he drew up his estimate. We discussed his schedule and set a start date for a week out. During this week, I removed the baseboards, furniture...everything but the living room carpet. Christian's estimate was a day short as he needed to finish a job...no problem for me. Christian showed up at 0900 in the morning with his assistant Scott Galloway (386.576.4090) and went to work. Carpet came up, padding up...they fixed a crack in the slab and prepped the slab for laying the tiles. The plank tiles and uneven slab are a difficult combo and the laying is more time consuming. The job took one week total and came out beyond my expectations. The floor is level and smooth as glass. You can scuff your feet across the tiles and not catch a tile edge. These guys are GOOD. Scott worked straight through each day, 9 to 5 without a break. A work ethic you just don't see much these days. There was very little waste tile, the job was completed with the last tile of the last box. I could have literally hold the waste cuts in two hands. My wife and I lived in the house during the tiling and great pains were taken in setting the job so we could get to our only bathroom, bedroom and kitchen during the install. There was only one day during the install were we needed to eat out due to not being able to use the stove. We did need to set up a plank to bridge curing areas a couple of times. I was a pleasure to watch these craftsman work. I cannot express what a great job they did. Professional all the way around. We are going to tile the rest of our rooms and two sun porches in a month of so. I am definitely going to have Buehler Tile back for this job also. Too bad Angie's List doesn't have a A+ or A++ rating as I would give it to these guys. I highly, highly recommend Christian and Scott for any tile work.
