Fantastic, they worked hard and cleaned up like they were never here, great job

Job was completed in a timely fashion. Daily cleanup was excellent. Additional problems identified in the old roof tear off were addressed quickly . Quality appears to be excellent.

Everyone was very professional. The roofers were very dedicated, polite & hard working. They even stayed on site during lunch and got right back to work when it was over. I have a large roof and it only took 2 days. I would highly recommend them. The roof looks amazing!!!

Excellent job! Our roof looks beautiful. Skylights were replaced as well. Roofers were prompt and professional. Cost was well within range of competitors. Highly recommended.

The crew worked very hard from early morning until dark. They finished the house and garage in 2 1/2 days. The metal work was completed by a different crew that works on their metal roofs. They took the old galvanized metal material off, and replaced it with aluminum. They added proper flashing, which the galvanized roof did not even have, along with some additional wood support. The house, garage, and porches look so much better that the old roof. We could not be happier with the entire experience. We highly recommend AWS for your roofing needs.

One area patched correctly. Had to return after next rainstorm because leaking area was missed. Biggest problem was they used gray colored shingles on a brown roof. I did not find out about this for more than a year until I had a roof inspection by another roofer who pointed this out. I even had extra shingles of the correct colors in my garage at the time but the person who estimated the job said the ones he had would eventually match the existing shingles over time.

I selected AWS based on their Angie’s List ratings, feedback I received from the Nextdoor neighborhood website, their rating with the BBB, and their price was competitive (not the cheapest but in the middle). I am very pleased with the quality of their work. My new roof looks fantastic (and it doesn’t leak), they were fast, professional, and they did a great job on the cleaning up after themselves. Based on my experience I would highly recommend them for any roof work you may need.95

It was a long wait due to the hurricanes, but WELL worth the wait. Very professional, cleaned up the yard and roof spotless and the owner gave us a spectacular recommendation for color of roof, as the color we chose, would NOT have matched out home well. We are thrilled with the results!

Not well. They advertise that they serve Volusia County. Yet I was told they did not service Ormond Beach fl. They are in Edgewater and are only going up to Daytona Beach only. Not a very large area of Volusia County.

It did not go well. I would not recommend this company .

receptionist was nice, but weeded me out fast to say they don't do Deltona. So much for servicing "the Greater Volusia area". Guess they are referring to East of I-95. it's amazing that business is so good to be able to turn down business within the county. scored D instead of F because receptionist was nice. I would suggest company update their listing so people like myself don't waste time calling.

It was fine. They were pretty much exactly the same as another quote we received.

AWS is comprised of true professionals in the roofing industry. They go above and beyond the expected.

I had two guys come here. One was apparently and rookie and the other guy know what he was doing; the guy that did the major part of the work. After they had left for the day and had finished the job, the rookie's work leaked. He pretty much missed a spot completely. I had to call them back and do the repair, but this time I had the guy who knew what he was doing; the senior guy on the crew. I basically helped them pinpoint where the leak was from going up in the attic with them and showing them where I think they made the mistake. He went up on the roof and took some shingles off and verified that the guy shingled the wrong place. He fixed it and it hasn't leaked since. I thought their prices were a little high. They fixed some problems up that had been up there for some time and they actually recommended that I remove the chimney. I think they ultimately they did a good job except for the fact that they goofed on the one side, but they did fix it the next time they were out. When I called them back they could not come back right away because of a family emergency and the guy couldn't show up for a couple more days, but that's beyond anybody's control.

Aaron completed job on appointed day in a timely manner and went back on roof(2 story) a few days later to make sure pipe and boot were secure.

Working with AWS from out of state was a breeze. They were professional, responsive, and handled everything in a timely manner. My roof was beat and as it turned out there was a lot more work than originally thought. So there was a little more jump in cost from the estimate to the actual bill than I had thought. Other than that I was totally happy. The finished product looks great. I have another house on the same property and I plan to use them again.

AWS is great! Marvin came out looked at all my issues. Scheduled the repairs I needed for the same week. If the shingles hadn't been replaced you wouldn't even know AWS had done any work. Very happy with their prompt service and professionalism!! A++++ Company!!

I found the company on Angie's List and they had a good rating. They had an offer for $5700 for a roof using architectural shingles but saw where the full amount had to be paid in advance on Angie's List. This wasn't appropriate in my opinion and called AWS directly. I told them I had found them on Angie's List and the secretary told me that they would show me how this could be done through Angie's List without paying in advance. The man who gave me the quote came over a few days later and quoted me $6300 even though the offer on Angie's List was for $5700. Even so, I agreed to proceed because of their favorable rating. I was given a small brochure with color choices for the shingles and made my choice a few days later. The job was done several weeks after the estimate and due to wood rot at the front and back of the roof the final bill came to $7790 which was a major hit to my budget. Pieces of soffit between rafters weren't replaced and left my open deck ceiling open to rodents and insects. I didn't realize it till I was doing laundry a week later. It was 40 degrees out and was extremely cold in the laundry room. That's when I realized it was completely open. I called the company and they came out to replace at least 4 pieces of wood between the rafters the following day. I felt that the wood was removed by the company and should have been replaced. The inspector passed the job saying it met the minimum requirements to pass. I don't think I'll require another roof in my lifetime and would use this company again but with more caution.

greatm, came back under warranty and repaired other problems

I contacted the company to repair my roof in 2 places. I am living in Virginia full time and I have the vacation home in Florida. They contacted me and told me that they would fix the leaks and use my roof coating that I already had in the shed on the property. The invoice says that they caulked cracked tiles in valley & on hips. Installed new coating (provided by owner). No warranty available. The charge was 650.00. Well the next time it came a hard rain, it leaked again in the exact same places. I contacted a couple more roofers and they said first of all you cannot fix a tile roof leak with caulking and that the roof had not been disturbed to fix the problem. It is a shame that you get on Angie's List to find a reliable contractor and this is what happens. I will never use them again. I contacted another roofer and they are fixing the problem and giving me a lifetime warranty on the repairs. Make sure you contact someone with the warranty before you get your work done. And it is going to take a lot more then putting caulking on it and coating it again.

AWS was extremely responsive and timely. They provided an accurate quote and communicated every step of the way. The roofers showed up on time for their appointment, took great care with the job, and left a clean job site. The office staff were also very professional and courteous. We highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future!

AWS personnel arrive early, did the work promptly and courteously, cleaned up and checked with us to ensure we were happy with the work. What more could one ask for?
