Advanced Air and Heat

When my old ac broke down i called advanced air and heat, they came out the next morning. The technician checked my unit inside my condo and on the roof, he explained the problem and gave me a price to repair or replace.My existing unit was old so i decided to replace. A three man crew arrived the same afternoon,removed the old units and installed the new. They did a neat professional job working a tight space for the inside unit.

i have been utilizing this company for years. they are excellent. high quality work, high quality air conditioning units. they installed my airconditioning system and it works well.

A/C was not maintaining proper temperature. Technician determined it was low on coolant and recharged the unit.

Awesome. This firm is the best! The could have charged me an arm and a leg as the a/c went down at the start of a holiday weekend, but they took the high road and let me know the equipment was still under warranty, and thus no cost to me.

Having recently purchased my home I wanted to have the AC unit examined and tuned up. The man that came was nice and patiently explained the answers to my questions. He left a customer "swag" bag for me and after reading through the literature I decided to have a UV light installed to help clean the air in my home. This was handled by the same gentleman and everything went very well. I was so happy with the service that I had them go to my father's condo and take care of his AC as well. I have never had someone call to tell me they would be 10 minutes later than originally planned. Usually, it is me calling when people are an hour late and I haven't heard from them!! I am very happy with how everything went with Advanced Air & Heat - including the people at the office who answer the phone.

The work was done very professionally and the serviceman, Mike, showed that he was truly involved in the work he performed. My daughter recommended me to them and they had the same outstanding work. I highly recommend Advanced Air and Heat !!!

He found out something had been wired incorrectly so this gentleman rewired it in about a half an hour. He also did a general check up. Then when it came time to turn on the heat, it wasn't working. I called the company again and they sent someone else out and he fixed the wiring and heat exchanger in about 5 minutes. They are very pleasant to work with!

Entire process from the initial in home consultation to the installation and start-up of the new system went smoothly and trouble free. The installation crew was prompt and courteous. They began work as soon as they arrived and worked diligently until complete. A great experience!

I was very please with the service tech as he listen carefully to what I thought the problem was. As he begin to check the thermostat unit he explain step by step what he was doing. Once he decided that the unit may need to be replaced he ruled out other possible causes by double checking the air handler and ensuring that the overall system was getting sufficient voltage. As he was replacing the thermostat he explained the functions of the new thermostat and the warranty in detail. Once the new unit was install he checked the cool air temperature in the air handler to ensure that the thermostat was the only issue. He then checked the Freon level in the system. During the entire visit he was extremely professional and polite. I was especially please that he kept his explanations on a very simplicity and easy to understand level. At my request we also discussed replacement of my entire system as my unit is over 14 years old. Without any hard scare pressure he explained the pros/cons of replacement and suggested that based on my current system I would have approximately one year to consider it. At my request he provided me with a replacement quote which gave me several options. Overall I was very please with the service and would recommend Advance Air & Heat to my family members & friends. Note: I would like to share my review however, I would request that you keep my address confidential due to my pervious work profession (law enforcement).

I have been using Advanced Air & Heat (1939 W. Park Ave., Edgewater, Fl., 32132--- 386-530-6278 or 386-427-1665) since they first started in business (when they were literally a Mom & Pop business run by the father ,wife and 2 sons). It pains me to have to write this review but, with my latest service, I have found that they have fallen off in the quality of their work & their professionalism. This might be due to the fact that they were so good that their business expanded and they have since hired many more people and have supervisors, etc. It's not just a Mom & Pop business anymore. Anyway, my air conditioner was under warranty and I called them on 4/7/14 because the fan was blowing in the unit but, I was not getting any cool air; the temperature would be in the mid 80's in the house. They sent a service man and he said that I needed Freon and that there were a couple of leaks. He put more Freon in and fixed the couple of leaks and left. The unit ran okay for about 6 weeks and then went TOTALLY caput! There was no air again and the fan was just blowing hot air. I called them up again and another service man came out on 5/20/14. He looked at the unit and it was shot on the inside (the coils were all corroded and rusted out, Freon all gone, more leaks , due to rust, etc.). In short, I needed a couple of thousand dollars worth of work done. Luckily I did have a warranty and it was all covered. However, they needed to order many parts from several places and it took about a week for all of the parts to come in. They came back out on 5/27/14 with another tech and he fixed it all and did a great job. My complaint is that there was no need for me to go a week without any air (this was during the Memorial Day week-end which was a record scorcher; well into the 90's). If the original tech on 4/7 had just bothered to look (the rust and corrosion had been going on for years and didn't just happen in 6 weeks, and it was completely obvious even to Mr. MaGoo), he would have seen the problem and ordered the parts so, even if I was down for a week, the parts would have arrived before my air conditioner unit finally went caput on 5/20. As it was, he did not do anything about it and 6 weeks later the unit went because of corrosive parts the he had to have SEEN (if he didn't see them he shouldn't be in that business) . I called his supervisor to tell him about the problem, when the problem was in progress. When the job was finally fixed and done, I e-mail this complete scenario of what happened to his boss along with numerous photos of all of the corrosive parts, rusted out coils, etc. and asked the supervisor to please get back to me about this. Well, I have waited until now to express my displeasure, as the supervisor never got back to me at all, regarding anything concerning this problem. I know now why the original tech just did such a sloppy job. The tone is set at the top. The employee probably thought to himself : Hey, I don't have to worry about anything happening to me because no one is goanna do anything to me; they don't care either.

Since we have extended warrant, along with service contract, the part was ordered, installed promptly even though problem occurred on weekend.

System had failed, called for service, the unit had to be replaced. After doing A LOT of research and getting many estimates, decided to go with Advance. Excellent installation and performance.

My husband talked to him before he left Vermont on a Friday, then we came down that weekend and he installed it on Wednesday. The guys were there less than an hour and were extremely friendly. They helped us and were very thorough. Brandon is so nice.

I had used Advanced Air & Heat to inspect the system when I bought the condo almost 2 years ago and knew it was nearing the end of its life. Advanced serviced it then. When the system needed replacing, I called them and they came out & gave me an estimate. I elected to go with them because of the prior service and because they are A rated on Angie's List. They removed the old system and installed a new one in a very professional manner, cleaned up afterwards and made sure the system was operating properly. I will use them again to service the system.

Excellent service. My call was answered at 7 PM on a Friday night and a technician was here by 8:00. He checked out the whole system, took care of the problem and I had air again by 9:00 PM. I could not have been more pleased. It's great to have a reliable company for air conditioning in Florida!!

It was FLAWLESS! Very professional. Upgraded 1.5 ton complete unit to a new Amana 2 ton unit and replaced 3 ton unit with a new Amana 3 ton unit. They bumped me up on their "list" as I had NO A/C for 2 days = rescheduled the next day at 9:15AM. I can not say enough about how smoothly and professionally the install went. There were no "Hidden Fees" such as duct cleaning, duct repairs, etc.! They even vacuumed up the clutter that was created! :-) The total price was astounding = $7654 for both a 2 ton and a 3 ton complete package with all the required electrical changes required by "Code" changes over 20+ years. PLUS an Upgrage to a complete 10 year labor and refrigerant warranty. I want to thank "Angies List" for providing me an alternative to the local "Big Boys" that I have used in the past with very POOR results!

They were on time, took care of everything, and did everything that needed to be done. They come out the same day when we need them immediately. We have a service contract with them and I strongly recommend it.

Went pretty well for replacement had to wait until 9 pm for initial service call (call placed at 11 am) but it is summer and at least they came out ASAP. Turned out needed a new unit so we went ahead and replaced which was done next day however while it cooled the first day we had issues and they had to come back out. Very courteous and friendly techs are great as are call in people think they are just very busy. Overall I am still satisfied and would recommend the, over any other AC co in NSB. We have used them for years for service and they have been reliable which is why we bought the new one from them knowing they would stand behind it and are locally owned.

Engineers were very knowledgible and helpful. They explained the basic workings of the system to me so that I could perform routine maintenance myself in future and gave me tips on how to keep this rather old system running for a couple of extra years whilst I save up for a new system

They guys from Advanced Air & Heat are great. They are reliable. Their prices are reasonable. The workers are friendly and competent.

They definitely knew what they were doing. They were very courteous. They had a check off list to make sure they were doing everything correct. Their demeanor was great and they were professional. Some of the other places were charging a lot more and we had ours done before with another company and they were more expensive.

They are very professional, prices are very reasonable and they are very nice people. They are always prompt and on-time. I would highly recommend and have done so to others. Their office is very nice, clean and well-organized.
