+ -1 moreI have used Charlie in the past to install laminate flooring in our house so I knew the kind of work he does.This job had many cuts and angles with the installation.The floor came out beautiful. We purchased the tile at Loews and I would not have one of their contractors do the work. Charlie was on time, professional and answer all questions.He spent 3 days on the job and it was left clean and neat at the end of the day.His measurements were right on and I did not have much tile left over for any future repair work if needed.

+ -1 moreOverall I am very happy with the outcome. He was punctual from start to finish. Recommended a great store to look at flooring options with great prices. He worked straight through from 8:30AM to 5:30 PM and cleaned up after himself nicely. He is professional, courteous and an expert installer.
Description of Work: Charles installed a beautiful Armstrong laminate flooring product. It came out great. There were several difficult cuts that had to be made because the room has a rather lengthy entrance that runs at an angle to the room lay-out. All the cuts came out perfect. He had difficulty matching the color of the baseboard molding but I will be able to correct that.

+ 0 moreCharles Marquis is by far the best service professional we have ever worked with. He is totally reliable and ndash; always did what he said he was going to do when he said he would do it. Our two flooring projects (laminate in a large open kitchen and laundry room and ceramic tile in a bathroom) turned out beautifully. He helped us decide what materials would be best in each room, and while he doesn't sell flooring at all, he has lots of local contacts where we went to make our choices. He is a perfectionist, his work is precise and meticulous, and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. It was an absolute pleasure to work with him. If you need new flooring, Charles Marquis is the man for you.
Description of Work: We contacted Charles Marquis to get an estimate on replacing flooring in a large open kitchen with adjoining laundry room and a guest bath. He measured the rooms and gave us some very helpful advice on which materials would be most appropriate for each room. He also gave us information on where to go to see flooring samples and pick out what we wanted. His estimate was right in line with our expectations, he seemed very knowledgeable and conscientious, and we decided to have him do the job. We contacted him several times with questions while we were picking out materials and he always responded quickly. After we made our choices and purchased the flooring, he picked up our orders and over the course of only four days installed ceramic tile in the bath and laminate in the kitchen/laundry room. He worked methodically, carefully and kept the work area completely clean and orderly.

Description of Work: Installed bamboo flooring twice in our home , bedrooms first, removed carpet & hauled away. Did such a great job we asked him back to do the kitchen, dining room, living room & hallway. Then we had him place lisbon cork in our baths WOW what a professional guy. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again & again

We felt very comfortable with Charles in our home. As a matter of fact we even left him here to complete his work while we went shopping.
