SUNSHINE DECK

Sunshine deck always communicated with me regarding scheduling or any changes in timing due to weather conditions. They arrived on time and pressure washed the deck area 3 days prior to sealing. When they came to seal, the deck dried beautifully and the colored residue from a prior company's sealing was mostly removed. The clear seal that Sunshine deck applies is durable, covers completely and lasts. It makes the deck sparkle like and quot;diamonds.and quot; I know that the river rock will last a lot longer. The minor repairs were done quickly and neatly. I would definitely use Sunshine Deck in the future for all my pool deck needs.

I had about 80 square feet of concrete that needed to be broken out and replaced. That couldn't be done until a tree stump that was causing the problem was removed and a fence was taken down to allow access to the patio. Ed did a great job of working with me, the condo association and the tree guy to coordinate the work. He kept us informed, explained the work and did everything on time. I was particularly impressed by the explanation he provided on the reinforcement rods he would install to insure that the newly poured concrete wouldn't separate from the existing section of patio. The job came out better than I expected. The repaired area matched the pattern in the existing area perfectly (My only recommendation is that he consider getting an email address. Not that he didn't respond by phone quickly . . . he did. I just like the convenience of email.) I am working with Ed on another project and hope very much that he can work it into his schedule.

They always do a great job and it looks beautiful. They are knowledgeable, nice, honest and does not try to upsell us and do unnecessary work, and we would recommend them to anyone.

I called the company to set up and estimate and never got a call back.

We did not use this company. We seemed to connect somewhat better with someone else to redo our deck.

They were fine and I will use them again in the future.

I had some drainage issues with my pool deck, and the grout on the pool tiles was old, discolored and dissolving, so I requested a new drain be installed and the grout be fixed. Ed suggested that I have the pool restained since I was having part of it cut up for the drain and there were some cracks showing in the deck. He gave me an excellent price for all three and did a very nice job. The only issue was that the cleanup was not as thorough as I had hoped, but they returned and took care of it. I would definitely use this company again.

They're much lower priced than others. The decking itself looks good, but they don't finish up. They didn't put another layer of sand like they, said they were going to. Only one person did it. It took much longer. And I'm going to have sand, kind of like hard rock sand, real sharp sand and loads of sand in the bottom of my pool. That, I don't think was good at all because other companies, you don't have that at the bottom of the pool. So that I don't think was too good. And then, when they said they were going to help me put up a fence, I never heard anything back from them.

They never returned my phone call.

SUNSHINE DECK SHOWED UP ON TIME AND FINISHED THE WORK IN A TIMELY MATTER. VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS, I WOULD HAVE THEM DO WORK AGAIN.
