The removal of a Laurel Oak seemed like a monumental task for us. In addition we had a large 28 year old Staghorn Fern hanging from the tree. It was breaking my heart to lose our staghorn . We had numerous bids and chose Stevens based on their reputation and professionalism. First and foremost right from the beginning it was clear that there was a great leader and team involved and that safety was of the upmost importance. Even stopping the process when kids down the street were getting on a school bus. The entire process was so organized and efficient. All of the team had a role and they were absolutely outstanding. My wife spent time outside with them and was taking pictures. As I was at work she sent pictures of 5 members of the team building a base of rocks in the corner of our yard and then lowering my staghorn down with the crane as they guided it to its new home!!!They saved our staghorn!! After several disaster tree service in the past, I finally found a company that I will always use. They gave me an estimate in June 2019 at that time they also gave me their license and a copy of their insurance liability. Due to family emergencies, they didn't do the tree service till Oct 11 It was a very big job trimming many oak trees, palms, camphor, and sea grape. They were here around 6 hrs. and did a tremendous job. Very thorough and efficient, my property looked so much better. Cost was $4,000. Well worth the price considering all they did. Yes. other companies I checked were lower in price but I didn't feel they knew what I was asking especially when they weren't taking notes??

We had a small job and originally called a small local company that had been recommended on town facebook page. After three no-shows, I decided to call Stevens Tree Service. The were very responsive and the estimator came out to give us a quote. The office called me to schedule the work, and it was done on the day promised. They did an excellent job. There is a $250 minimum price for a job, so if you have a small job it might be better to wait if you can until you have a few jobs together. The $250 was definitely worth it. There are not that many companies that want to be bothered with smaller jobs, and Stevens Tree Service was worth every penny. I will definitely use them again.

All went well. I was not home but they came on time and did what I contracted to have done.

I use Angie’s List as my reference for any work to be done around the house. I have not been disappointed! We received a flyer in the mail from Stevens Tree Services and checked them out on Angie's List. They had a high rating so we gave them a call. Someone came out in a timely manner and gave us an estimate which we considered reasonable and we were not disappointed. A crew of four arrived at the appointed time. They were very courteous and worked diligently, with the end result an excellent job.

Trimming looks fine, but if it had not been for a 20% coupon they would have charged me $594 which was overpriced for the work done.

Their appointment for an estimate took the longest to schedule, but the fellow doing the estimating let me know he was coming, arrived on time, was professional and gave an estimate quickly. The price quoted was (only) $100 more than the one we went with and i think their service would have been satisfactory.

I use them every time. They trimmed it so it wouldn't hang over the roof of my house. The price was reasonable. I've used them several times in the past.

Quote was way to high. Asked to get another appointment for a trim estimate he said he would try and thanks for the consideration. Which made me feel like he was uninterested in the trim. I waited a week no call no business. I found a better quote from a very reputable service that was half of there quote and will be doing business with them to remove tree.

We had a large stand of **** trees wrapped in tangled vines with an oak somehow growing out of the middle. Another tree service I contacted came out and said it will be expensive and didn't seem to even want the job. They recommended Stevens. Am I glad they did! The estimator Chuck told what they would need to do, provided an "out-the-door" estimate, and told me they could do it in 3-4 weeks. Once the date was set, Chuck showed up early to prep the job and the crew was right on time. They did not mess around and were not only very thorough removing the mess of trees and vines but also did a great job cleaning up. Stevens will be the first to get a call next time I have any tree work to be done. Thanks Chuck, Roberto, and the rest of the crew!

Fast Efficient Friendly Very good clean up Competitively priced

Jeremy and H'andre arrived with the stump grinder. They carefully moved the grinder through my neighbor's backyard and into my yard. They grinded the stump to about 6-8 inches below ground level. they then swept and cleaned up and removed all the wood clippings. They went beyond what I expected in cleaning up my back yard. After cleaning up my yard, they then replaced the fence panel that was removed to allow the grinder to travel through my neighbor's yard. Finally they re-stacked the bricks that bordered the tree stump and fence area.

I made an appointment for Chuck, the arborist, to give me an estimate on cutting down and removing a queen palm from my backyard. Then their team showed up on time as scheduled and completed the tree removal in about 1 hour. They had to access my yard via my next door neighbor's yard which entailed removing/reattaching a fence section. After removing the tree, the team cleaned up my yard and my neighbor's yard. Since their stump grinder was being repaired, I'm waiting for them to return and complete the work as detailed in our job order.

Scott came out and looked at the trees I was interested in having trimmed and provided me an estimate to do the work that seemed reasonable. He said that they were backed up and I would need to wait a few weeks to get the work done. Since I was not in a rush, I agreed to the estimate and waited for them to call. I got a call in about 3 weeks and the trimming was scheduled for the following week. When they arrived it was raining and we were discussing whether I should reschedule, but we waited about a half hour and the rain stopped. They then started to do the trimming. We didn't get off to a good start since they were only going to remove one small limb from a new tree in the front yard that we had discussed doing during the estimate, but the rest of the tree was also supposed to be trimmed up to give it balance. To the supervisor's credit, he did call the estimator and confirmed that we had indeed agreed to the additional trimming and that took place. I had one large limb on one tree in the back yard that they carefully removed. They removed it a section at a time to carefully prevent it from crashing into my lanai enclosure. After all of the trimming was completed they did a very good job of cleaning up all of the debris and left my yard looking fine. In all there were four tees that were trimmed.

Bob came to our house and gave an assessment. He was professional and knowledgeable. We had gotten several quotes and this quote was the best. The crew showed up right on time. There were a total of 6 guys to do the job. Each and every one of them were friendly, professional, responsive and EXTREMELY hard working. They trimmed 4 larges trees in our yard. 2 of which were hanging over our screened cage over our pool and one over our home. They blew off the screened cage and the roof. They cleaned the ENTIRE yard. There was no remnants of any tree debris anywhere. Very pleased with the service.

The large crew arrived right on time and the foreman walked the yard with us and went over the list. Everyone on the crew was friendly and knew their job perfectly. They worked well together and we were amazed at how quickly and thoroughly they accomplished each portion of the job. It was a very big job and took the crew most of the day, working with only a short lunch break. They checked in with us frequently to be sure the work was being done to our satisfaction and were very responsive to anything we mentioned. The crew cleaned up everything, going over our large yard more than once to be sure all debris was removed. We have an acre lot with many, many bushes and trees and over 30+ years have hired a number of different tree services. We cannot say enough about Stevens - their work ethic, friendliness, responsiveness, and quality are all top-notch. Our yard looks great! We will absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them!
