Plantformation

Talk about a transformation! When I bought the house it looked nice out back (pool/canopy/bar). Weather, sun, wind & rain left it in shambles. Enter Plantformation...Scott designed & coordinated so much work for me & made my backyard into a little haven (day & night). Now, I LOVE to be outside at all hours! Who knew how much landscape lighting could change nighttime into a beautiful extension of your day! People usually write a review when they are dissatisfied or angry, which I see from a few bad ratings over 18 years Plantformation appears on Angie's list. The service I received from Scott, his son Tyler & their crew was professional, courteous & top notch. They are customer centric & it shows! I hear they even give a break to widows. ❤️ My 1st time using Plantformation was to trim 2 huge Laurel Oaks. As an Arborist, I know excellent tree work; & they know what they're doing. My trees are beautiful & thriving. No more weather worries about the trees harming the house. THANK YOU! 😊

I can't begin to say how happy I am that I contacted Tyler with Plantformation. I did not know what all I needed or wanted but I knew my exterior needed serious help. Tyler came out promptly for an estimate and explained what type of landscape would work best and where to be placed based on shade and sun exposure. Tyler also suggested irrigation as I always struggled keeping my grass alive and well. Tyler also suggested some landscape lighting and boy am I happy we did! Tyler and his crew went above and beyond from start to finish, they were prompt, quick and efficient and extremely patient and kind. I could not be happier! They broke and dented the side of my screened in cage, I HAVE IT ON VIDEO, and they will still not take responsibility. Now, Scott is harassing me by threatening to take me to small claims court. He also did not trim the side of the oak tree on my side of the house, yet trimmed the neighbors as agreed upon. He was paid $900, but I kept back the difference, and he is threatening me and e-mailing me.

My next door neighbor hired Plantformation to do some landscaping. Their truck was parked in front of my home, blocking access to my trash can and the yard debris I had put out for pick-up. I asked them to move their truck but they refused. A few hours later, when my husband, a disabled veteran, asked them to move the truck they refused saying "we can park anywhere we like". When I confronted the owner at the end of the day to show him that the trash hadn't been collected because their truck had blocked access he said, "It's not my fault." So much for their claims to care so much for the customer. These are not people you would want to deal with.

Seed pods not removed from palm trees, with landscaper telling us they needed to stay to provide nutrients for the tree (cannot verify that fact with any other landscaper, arborist, tree trimmer, online search). rock not completed, colors of plants were incorrect, spacing was off, and when we showed the landscaper, he moved plants but they are still incorrect. 3-4 plants were dead within a week, and now there are 4 more dying. Landscaper estimated number of plants incorrectly (evidently to save money), then argued about what we discussed with him multiple times. He was defensive, did not show up when promised, rescheduled 2-3 times, and now does not respond to phone calls or text messages. He has no idea how much money he has lost on future work we had planned for him (thousands of dollars).

Plantformation was paid in full, but the job was never completed. They were to remove a small tree and some other plants, including removing the roots, then lay sod. Unfortunately: 1. The lady palm roots were not removed, and we cannot plant anything else there until this is done. 2. Weeds and elephants ears plants are coming up through the sod because the roots were not removed. 3. Soil wasn't sprayed before sod was laid to kill weeds. 4. They were supposed to check back every two weeks for a while to be sure everything was OK, but never came out. 5. Sod was brown and dried looking - we followed their watering instruction exacting - still looks crumby and brown. We called Plantformation several times to come to finish the job - now nine weeks have elapsed. We had four scheduled appointments for them to come out, but they never called to cancel and they never showed up. Our most recent call was Wednesday, June 15, 2016. I left a message that they had been paid but the job was never finished, and that I would be posting a negative review if the job were not done by the end of the day on Friday, June 17th. At 8:50 a.m. on Thursday, June 16th, there was message on the answering machine from Scott at Plantformation, saying that he would be here in 10 minutes. No one showed up. It would take at most a couple of hours to finish the work, with just one man working. The roots need to be removed from under the sod and along the wall to finish.

Excellent, creative Landscaper. A true professional. Scott was my original landscaper in 2005. He developed the beautiful landscaping I have around my home. He has installed lighting around my home, to include motion detector lights. In addition, Scott has corrected my irrigation, pruned the oak trees and cleaned the gutters. Trustworthy.

Scott performed my original landscaping 8 years ago and I was very pleased with the outcome. I was happy to see him back. Scott, son and crew did fabulous work on property and clean-up. Definitely would use this company again.

Scott, Tyler and his crew were unreliable, he failed to return phone calls and text messages yet he had no problem asking for money. Before the installation of the fence my sprinkler system worked great! My year was nice and green now its brown and dead. After the installation the sprinkler system quit working due to the numerous pipes being destroyed and not being capped. Needless to say I had to pay$800 to get it fixed and repaired and another $800 for the fence repair. The fence had to get redone, the wheels that were used for the gate were insufficient so my double gate sank into the ground and became useless. I didn't have a lock on the side gate for a month, I had to use paint buckets to keep the gate closed. The double gate was coming apart from the house because screws used to attach the gate to the house were too small and again, insufficient. The fence posts were supposed to be placed into the ground at 24 inches with concrete for support. This didn't happen, the fence would wobble and move. Furthermore his crew, Scott never came out to work, was digging for the fence post that was when my sprinkler system became damaged. As far as the playground they did an ok job, however it took over a week to get complete. They did reinforce some of the playground with some better brackets which it needed badly. However the 2x4 border around the play needed to be anchored into the ground and it was not. I had to take it apart because it was not secure and it was a safety hazarded and an accident waiting to happen. Scott, his son Tyler are both rude, arrogant and are not reliable. I would call and/or test and not hear nothing for days on end. I would call and text Scott and/or Tyler in regards to their ETA and it would change, they would never be on time. They would say 8am or noon and not show up until 3 or 4 in the afternoon. On a side note Scott said he would personally come out and fix my fence, I left him a voicemail and text messages and I am still waiting for him to fix my fence. Not that it matters because I had to pay somebody else to come out and fix their not so excellent work. The project should have taking only a week or two at the most, 2 months later and the work was barley completed. In short I would have to give Plantformatoins a solid and quot;Fand quot; for their and quot;Fand quot;antastic work and lack of dedication to their customers! Thanks Scott.

Unfortunately due to Scott's lack of resolving my paint issues on the pool deck, I would not use this company again nor recommend to friends or family. He should have never did the job if he couldn't back up his work. I have been very patient over the last several months in regards to this issue and dealing with Scott. Overall he charged me $2500 for the pool deck and if he can't resolve the issue, I feel I should get some of that money back and he should return the extra paint for the pool deck to me.

Scott Weathersby is a consummate professional in providing talent, design, and imagination from concept to completion. Scott's demand for customer satisfaction is as if a son is providing for a parent. His patience for one who has zero knowledge in maintenance is almost and quot;saintly.and quot; Tyler and the work crew are truly an ALL-AMERICAN, respectful, hard-driving, second-to- no one ALL-STAR TEAM. With Scott's on-sight supervision and Tyler's youth and American drive ... the client will have NO WORRIES !!! Thank you Scott and Tyler.

Tyler and his crew started the job on Monday and was done by Tuesday evening. They completed all the tree trimming, mulching and landscaping in two days. On Wednesday and Thursday, my pool deck was repainted. Once again, Scott is great to work with. He is very attentive to the customer and makes sure everything was completed as discussed.

Scott Weathersby is great to work with. He definitely has a knack for customer service and making the customer feel like they are important. His knowledge is very extensive in regards to Florida native plants/trees/flowers and maintenance for all of it. He asks all the right questions and is very honest and up front with the customer. The work was performed soon after an estimate was obtained. Scott and his crew showed up when they were supposed to and completed the job extremely well.
