We offer many options for updating the look of your swimming pool, your patio, your spa and more. Lightning Pools & Pavers is a licensed and insured company with over 30 years of combined custom pool remodeling experience. We take great care in every one of our remodeling and new construction projects and are very proud of the work we've done. Description of Work: when it came close to finishing, they said it would be "extra" or they would not finish the pool . They NEVER disclosed that they would not finish the pool and expected the homeowner to be responsible for brushing the entire pool for 14 days in order to get the end result. They used bullying and threats of placing liens.

Response from Lightning Pools & Pavers
(member name) refused to pay when the work was completed. In this area for pool resurfacing, the customer is responsible for brushing the pool for the first few weeks as he does the start up chemicals to balance the pool water. Some customers are physically unable to do this work and make special arrangements to have it done. (member name) did his own tile work for the pool and was very capable of brushing the pool for 15 minutes every few days. He went into a rage, swearing and yelling when I tried to explain that we don't brush the pool for him. Several attempts were made to explain this to him with the same result each time. In twelve years of resurfacing pools, this has never been an issue before. (member name) did not come to the appointment he had scheduled to do the proposal and at his request I had left the proposal on his pool deck table before I left. This is the usual time that each step of the pool work that is listed on the proposal sheet is reviewed with the customer. I answered all of (member name) questions on the phone before he signed the contract. We have received no payment for our $3700 job and have only received repeated threatening communications from the Rupes as you can see in their complaint. George Payson Owner

Description of Work: SERVICE PERFORMED: RE-MARCITE THE POOL AND PRESSURE WASHED THE DECK AROUND POOL. THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE. WE WOULD USE THE COMPANY AGAIN.
