After clean up was done, maintenance was not kept up. All the weeds were allowed to grow back in. Joe insisted he showed up every week or would call if not. This was absolutely not the case. After about 3 months of service I started wondering why I hadn’t received any bills yet so I decided that I’d ask Joe the next time I saw him. Then a couple days later he called me and started the conversation with “am I ever gonna get paid?” I explained that I’d love to pay him but IA hadn’t received any bills yet and Joe was i credulous, as if I was lying. He said he’d bring a bill and put it in my hand the next day. I told him I’d hand him a check at the same time. I can dismiss a situation like this, chalk it up to a misunderstanding. However, the next thing he said was, “ok because I’d hate to have to take you to court and that would end up costing you way more. “ Seriously?! I just told him I’d have a check for him. I don’t appreciate being threatened and I definitely don’t tolerate it. There was no cause for such a threat. And when I expressed my distaste for his threats he started back peddling and saying he “didn’t mean it like that.” I’m not sure how else it could have been meant. When he came the next day I paid him for the months he’d billed for as well as the fee to complete the current month. We found a new service and my husband called to cancel service with Joe a couple days before he was scheduled to do our last service of the month. So Joe said he would not be showing up for that last service (even though I paid in advance) and he was very rude and very short with my husband. Overall, he was not pleasant to deal with. In most conversations he was pleading his hardships, I assume this was an effort to gain sympathy, which made him exhausting to deal with. I’m sure he’s a basically good person, but I’m much happier without him. I can only assume Angies List Super Service Award (or whatever it’s called) can be purchased by service providers because I have a hard time believing this company won something like that on merit alone.

JT was aware that I fired our last service because he wasn't doing the agreed upon trimming. I hired JT at a higher rate because he promised to do a professional job. They showed up the first month every week but no trimming was done. The second week he started missing weeks and still no noticeable trimming was done.. I called and left a message about that and he left a message that he was injured and said nothing about the trimming. He came a couple of more times but still didn't do it so I gave him written notice of termination. He called today and left a childish, nasty message that he came every week when he did not and that it was OK (that I fired him) because he "underbid the job" and "maybe I should pay more attention to my grass" instead of admitting he did a crappy job for us.

Service as promised for a fair price. Did a good job. Never a hassle regarding payments. Was nice doing business with him.

We weren't pleased with them and told them their services were no longer needed. I was very unsatisfied with their service. They were inconsistent and not showing up when they said they would. They were billing us when they hadn't been here. It was $65 a month. The price was good. They could not damage property, and they were lazy. Instead of going around the yard to get to the other side, they would cut thru a path, and the weight of the lawn mower would break the walkway. There were issues with that and they never repaired it. I have changed companies.

It was perfect. It was great. It was better than expected. I came home when it was finished and it was beautiful. They were here in January around the 14th I think. I did not pay a penny more than the deal cost.

I am the type of person who treats workers who come to my home nicely and tip often (yes even the cable guys, LOL). Because the lawn had not been mowed for 10 days and it was long I gave a $10 tip to each worker the first cut in June. My service day was set up for Fridays. Due to rain, the lawn was not cut on Friday July 17th. I thought the lawn would be cut on Saturday as I was told that was the process when it rained on a Friday. It did rain some Saturday although not all day. I then waited each day as Monday passed, Tuesday passed, and Wednesday passed. I then sent an email and left a VM asking when my lawn would be cut as all of the other lawn services in my neighborhood had gotten caught up on everyone's lawn. I just got off the phone with Joe and was advised that if he skips your service and goes onto his regular schedule if he is unable to make it up on Saturday. It is raining now and likely to rain tomorrow so he would not come again until 7/31/15 which would mean my lawn would go 3 weeks without cutting or more if it rains again next weekend. The lawn is currently out of control and I have been asked by my neighbors what happened. Joe did not explain that he totally skips you if it rains Friday and Saturday. Just today he said he cannot disturb his other customers schedule by coming on another day of the week. None of the other lawn services in our East Lake Woodlands community did this to their customers. They all got a little backed up but everyone got mowed even if it was not on their day. Had he told me last Saturday that due to rain I would be skipped an entire week and that could continue if it rained again Friday (which it did) I could have hired another company and had it mowed during this past week. Now I am stuck with a lawn that has not been mowed for 2 weeks and Joe is not willing to cut the next day it is not raining as it will set off his schedule. I had even paid in advance for the month of July. I am very saddened by my experience. If you cannot let your lawn go for weeks at a time I would recommend you go with another company. One last note this company was the highest quote I received. I paid $90 after the Angie's List discount of 10% so that would make the regular price $100. I was quoted $60 - $75 by others. I was willing to pay more because I thought I was getting the best customer service. To me being skipped is not the best customer service.

They did a beautiful job. Definitely looks awesome. They will be doing my lawn from now on. Very professional too. Met me on a Sunday to take a look at what I needed done. Said he would be out on Monday or Tuesday to mow and edge. My son called me on Tuesday when he got home from work to tell me that the yard looked awesome. I am very pleased and look forward to a great relationship with JT Lawn Service.

I guess I shouldn't have expected a professional business person on the other end of the phone, but then again I thought I paid a fee for AL for that reason. I'll go elsewhere.

The work was done quickly and thoroughly and for a very reasonable price.Joe returns calls within 24 hrs.

They always do a great job, very timely and neat. The lawn looks great when they are done.

Has been providing service for about three months now and all is well. They occasionally get behind due to rain, but they make it up by working Saturday. I only wanted the front yard care and had problems with other companies not wanting to do small jobs. Joe didn't think that was a probl

Mr. Tucci promptly responded to my request for a quote and set a day and time to come by. He arrived a few minutes early and walked the property with me pointing out the services he could provide. He was very professional, and clearly cares very much about doing a great job. Very detail oriented. Based on our conversation and his obvious passion for his work, I hired JT Lawn Service to provide weekly lawn maintenance and am very pleased with the work they do. The first day they serviced my property I came home expecting to see the lawn cut and edged. Not only was that done, but the bushes and shrubs were expertly trimmed as well! The lawn hadn't been edged in two years, instead of just blowing the debris into the street his team had raked it all up, bagged it, and put it on the curb for the garbage truck! Very impressive! They have been by three times now, always as scheduled and I couldn't be happier with their service.

We contacted this provider to cut my elderly father's lawn biweekly in Dunedin and asked him to send the bill to our home in Hernando County. Joe (the owner & operator) was very understanding and cooperative even when my father tried to insist on paying the bill himself. We really appreciate Joe's excellent customer service and, without exception, he always does a very good, thorough job of cutting my father's lawn.

I called to request an estimate, and I think the owner came out the same day. If not, the next day. My yard was in poor condition and was in an embarrassingly state of disrepair. Due to my health issues, I am not able to maintain it any more. We had used neighborhood teenagers. They would mow the grass and wasn't interested in doing any other yard work such as weeding and small trimming, etc. This was not sufficient and weeds and branches were taking over my yard. When Joe, owner of JT Lawn Service, came out. We walked my property. My yard needed a major clean out. Joe quoted a price to get my yard back to into shape. This of course was above and beyond just weekly mowing. He also provided me a rate of what the weekly / monthly price would be for maintenance. This included mowing, edging, light trimming and blow out the grass clippings. I am extremely impressed with Joe and his crew! They are very professional, always punctual and efficient. They mow carefully to not run over any sprinklers and are very careful in the garden beds to not remove the plants along with the weeding. I am once again, proud of my yard!!!

Called the owner, he turned up Sunday morning, having made prior arrangements to do so, gave me a quote which I accepted and started work the following week. He has been servicing my lawn for about 4 weeks and I am very satisfied with the results. Very professional, good communication and highly recommended.

It was very good. It went very well. He is very courteous, on time, and he is just a nice guy. He is a good worker and well equipped. He came prepared for the job. He could tackle any problem that arose.

I have been using them for over a month and so far I am happy with the service. The owner is very responsvie if I call with a question or need an extra service, I appreciate the prompt reply, and quick action if needed. They show up when they are scheduled and work quickly and do a good job.

Joe is fantastic, does exactly what is requested and goes above and beyond. We started with his company 2 weeks ago and are completely satisfied with his services. Lawn service for the cost and the professionalism that has been displayed thus far. Grass is cut a bit too short, trees slightly damaged by weed whacker, otherwise fine

They provided a quote that matched the work provided. They were prompt, professional, thorough and courteous. It was a large job and it was done completely. They needed to create an opening in our mesh fence and the put the whole thing back together before they left. We will definitely call them next spring!
