Hughes Exterminators Tampa - 2707203

The salesman from Hughes Exterminators arrived to do a WDO inspection during a home inspection involving a sale. When he finished, he proudly announced the the home was free of any termites but he had "many concerns" and that as soon as the new buyers have closed, he needed to talk with them of the many serious problems. With the buyers being concerned, the wife asked him what he was talking about and he said he would talk with them privately, without their agent or inspector present. The buyers decided after talking with the home inspector and their agent that this was just a desperate salesperson who was trying to use the scare tactic in making people think they needed him. Everyone (buyers and sellers along with their agents) agreed this company would not be used again and that their professionalism was worse than a desperate used car salesman. I complained to the company and someone identifying themselves called and said he would like a second opportunity with the buyers and make it right. I assured him I would not put him in touch with them as they have no interest in doing business with a company like Hughes Exterminators. This company is TERRIBLE!!!! AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE A Bate and Switch type company. Guess Hughes Exterminators forgot they talked with me and all they wanted was another shot at the buyer to get their business again. Not interested in an apology for the un-professionalism just want to try their used car tactics again. Hughes Exterminators will not be allowed in our home again. This company is a sales company, not a service company.

Terrible service, I don't recommend.

It was the initial service and it was about $150. I liked that it worked; I haven’t seen bugs. The price was a little high but they were really good.
