The removal of the Popcorn Ceiling was a big job in and of itself. Lance warned us that it would be. When they got to the hall leading to kitchen and family rooms, a problem came up with that ceiling which was not entirely a surprise to us as we had had issues in that hall in the past. When Lance was showing us the problem and what needed to be replaced his finger when through the ceiling and at that point my husband said "replace all of it." It also meant we had to call the roofer back and some flashing was replaced. Home Pride Painting did a lot of prep work. Our carpets were being replaced so we told them if they needed to pull up the carpet, cut it back, whatever - it didn't matter to us. They did not need to paint most of the doors (of which numbered eight). However they did paint all the trim around the doors plus they painted another 4 doors in the extended family room and a pair of French doors. Those doors, along with all trim, originally had been painted in oil paint so they needed to be roughed before they would accept the latex paint. We were told the job would take 7 to 10 working days but it did take longer due to the problems that needed to be fixed in the ceiling that was replaced in one of the halls. They worked every day until they finished and on some days we had as many as 3 men working on prep or repair in addition to painting. When they finished Lance told us they would return to do touch up if needed after the new carpet was installed. About 2 weeks later before I had a chance to call him Lance called me to ask how the carpet installation was progressing. I was just getting ready to call him as during the carpet installation the 4 doors in the extended family room had to be removed so the carpet could be laid and there was some peeling of paint off those doors. He sent Danny over in a couple of days to do the touch ups. Danny was not satisfied with how the paint was holding up on these particular doors and ended up spending the entire day at the house completely redoing those doors. They seem to be holding up well now. There was someone working every day with the exception of Sundays. All workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves. We were pleased. As an added note, I had 3 bids which ranged from $3500 to Lance's price. I found out that trying to verify the licenses through the city is not an easy task. Lance was the only one that had a license starting with a PA. A employee in Tampa City Hall told me that if you hire a painter they must have a license starting with PA otherwise they are not licensed to paint. One of the bids had a contractor's license, the other one I could never find where or how his license was listed.

Kept me posted on arrival time, as promised. Arrived with staff to complete job in the one day. Performed the task exactly as was written on the agreement. Finished result turned out very well. We were pleased with the job and the fact they cleaned up all trace of the job done.

Lance and his crew did an awesome job. They take pride in their work. I am completely satisfied with the work they did and will use them to paint the exterior of my home next year.

Lance and his crew were tremendous. They were on time every day, and very efficient, neat and clean in completing all of the work. We had a limited schedule of 5 days to complete the work, and they were finished on schedule. They even stayed late one evening to make sure that the work was complete. They made sure we had a walk through on the last day, and they made sure all issues or concerns were taken care of. After our walk through, Lance did his own walk through and found some additional things that needed touch ups. These guys are fantastic!

Lance and his crew are amazing! Lance went over every detail of what they would do and offered suggestions along the way. They were all extremely nice and professional and their work is outstanding! He gave a detailed estimate and communication was great. In areas that were not being painted they matched the old color so well you could not tell the old paint from the new paint. We interviewed several contractors and Lance was the only one that really knew his stuff! I highly recommend them - You will not be disappointed!

Lance was very responsive from the first moment we reached out to him. He listened to what we were requesting and provided useful and insightful information for us to make appropriate decisions. Lance and his crew are very friendly and professional. The areas they repaired look like there was never any damage. All the rooms, ceilings and doors the crew painted look wonderful. The crew left our place clean at the end of the job. We really appreciate Lance being able to fit our job into his schedule at short notice. His prices seem very reasonable. If we are in need of painters again we will definitely call Lance and his crew!

What a great company! After our first meeting with Lance we knew we had found our painter. We originally hired Home Pride Painting to paint several rooms and doors at a cost of about $2500. By the time we were done we had repainted about 90% of the house, including numerous baseboards and a concrete patio slab, for just under $4000. I only mention this to show that Home Pride Painting is not cheap. However, I am a firm believer that 'you get what you pay for' and we got just that with this job. Lance and his crew were courteous, professional and their attention to detail was second to none. The job took a full five days and then three days later I received a call from Lance to see if they had missed anything or if anything needed to be retouched. In our 20 years in Tampa, Home Pride Painting is one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. I would highly recommend letting them quote you on any upcoming painting job and can guarantee that we will use them for any future painting jobs.

Lance and his crew saved us!!! The tenant had left my townhouse in shambles--truly a mess.... I wanted to put the townhouse on the market so Lance dropped everything and made this his priority--within a week my place was in amazing shape... and then within three days of listing my home, it sold. This never would have happened without the top notch work done by Home Pride Painting. They are simply the best--very, very reliable, responsible and amazingly talented!!!

The work was very, very nicely done. They painted the room in two colors. It was a little bit of a complex arrangement, but they did a good job. The lines between the colors and the ceilings were very straight and looked great!
