 + -1 moreAll team members of Bozarth Contractors were professional and efficient. The pricing of the door was in in line with other companies but their response time and courtesy was much better. They installed a non impact (I did not feel the added cost was of value where the door was to be installed in the house) Low E sliding door with reframing that will not endure water damage over time. They took the extra time to help reinstall the vertical blinds including reversing the pull direction. They communicated very well on the day of installation including what would be done and any modifications that might be necessary. The installers did actually modify the frame plan slightly. The modification was highly functional and more visually appealing than originally planned. The projected timeline for the project was very accurate. The door installation is brand new as of December 10 but at this time I feel highly confident in recommending the services of Bozarth Contractors.
Description of Work: I needed a sliding door replaced that required a frame build out to meet code.

 + -1 moreWe're still waiting because they were supposed to bring a special window for the bathroom and they didn't have it. They haven't come out yet to replace it so we're still waiting. Otherwise, we're very happy with the work. We didn't think it could be done in one day and they did it. They also cleaned up very well after themselves and it was a big mess. We got quotes from 2 other places and Bozarth was the cheapest. They brought their price down so they could match another company. The windows are great. The windows have blocked out all the unwanted noise in the neighborhood. One of the things that impressed me was one of the workers took the time to kneel down and make friends with our little dog. They also took a short lunch and I didn't see any breaks.

 + -1 moreI couldn't be happier with my windows and with the skill, efficiency and professionalism of Bozarth staff, starting with Bill Haills, the residential specialist who came to my home with samples and information and followed up with a visit after the installation. The 3 installation experts, Rich and his crew of Derrick and Alvin, arrived on time and impressed me with their skill and attention to detail and friendliness, explaining to me what they were doing and cleaning the windows better then I do myself. Bill Smith, a Bozarth contractor, came on the second day to oversee the installation of the wall and windows in the master bedroom. All was completed within the allotted 2 days and the crew left the premises in perfect order. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
Description of Work: I sought 5 quotes for top-quality, hurricane-rated window replacements in my 2nd floor condo, which had the 1974 original windows. I chose Bozarth, after eliminating the top and bottom quotes (Bozarth was equivalent price-wise to the other 2 in the middle range), and because of the multiple positive reviews. There were 4 openings where double and triple window systems needed to be replaced: kitchen, dining room and 2 bedrooms. The largest opening (133"x 62") was in the master bedroom where a porch had been previously opened to be included in the living space and the supporting wall and windows were not substantial or secure. This required removing the complete wall and window system and rebuilding both.

 + -1 moreWe called Bozarth for our bid back in August, they came by and got back to me right away with their bid. The Board voted a few weeks later and Bozarth was hired. They came by, measured the windows, drew up the contract, we signed, gave deposit, and the windows came in within about 3 weeks, incredible time. Our installation date was scheduled a week ago, and all 16 windows were installed by end of that week.  + 1 moreThis was the second time I contracted with Bozarth Contractors. They did a super job on both a would recommend them to anyone who needed new storm windows, doors, or Hurricane Shutters/Netting. They did a good job estimating the job and taking measurements. When the came out to install, they were on time and complete to job on time. Paul Bozarth did the estimate and insured that I was completely satisfied.
Description of Work: This is the second time that I Bozarth Contractors perform work for me. The first time was in October 2008 when they installed new storm windows and sliding doors for my house. They also provided hurricane shutters. They were the low bidder and they showed up when they were supposed to and did an outstanding job installing the doors and windows as well as cleaning up after the job was completed. They also numbered the hurricane shutters and provided a house plan showing where each shutter was to go. The job was completed in two days at a cost of $18K. That is the reason I contracted with them again to install hurricane netting for my patio. This was necessary because I installed pavers on my patio and the old hurricane shutters could not be installed. Bozarth Contractors recommended that I used Hurricane Netting instead of the shutters for quicker install and no loss in protection. They measured the patio and front porch area for proper dimensions so that they could order the Hurricane Nets. When they returned they brought 4 Hurricane Nets which they installed. After installation and Inspection, they disassembled them and put the 4 nets in a canvas bag which I store in the garage. This was done less than a day. They cleaned up and provided me extra fasteners in case I needed them.

 + -1 moreThey were hard working people but I don't think they were very well trained. They were just terrible on a lot of the small details. They managed to put everything in place. Right now everything looks good but during the construction all the small things were just terrible with how they cut the windows and how they did the glass. We survived it. They worked really hard; it was just the small things. Their responsiveness was pretty good. They did figure out alternate ways to fix the windows.
Description of Work: We purchased windows from Home Depot and Bozarth Contractors was the contractor they used for the installation.

They were here when they said they were going to be here and did what they said they were going to do. I was very happy with their service. It was a warranty on some existing windows that they did not install. They resolved the warranty issue with the window manufacturer, and so the work was covered under the warranty. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

From beginning to end, this project was professional and perfectly executed. From estimate, to special order, and through the installation there were no surprises, extremely professional! Two other companies installed windows and a door for me in this and other homes and I experienced delays and sub-contractors. This was NOT the case with BOZARTH CONTRACTORS. As an Angie's List member, I always filter personal recommendations through the list. I chose this company from the Angie's List recommendation and I'm glad I did!! From the professional service given by Paul Bozarth to the uniformed installation crew, this is a job well done. No one has time or money to waste these days especially. Bozarth Contractors wasted neither for me. A+++++.
Description of Work: Paul Bozarth, the owner of the company, came to my home, gave me an estimate for three windows-one very odd-sized window, one large window on the front of my house, also odd-sized, and one bathroom window. Paul was on-time, professionally dressed, and extremely knowledgeable. I educated myself on the window brand, Simonton, which I wanted and had received 2 other quotes. He was able to think of configurations and options that not only saved me money, but also gave me exactly what I wanted in the "look" for the rooms. His communication through e-mail saved me time and gave me a visual for all the suggestions. I had a deadline that he met with time to spare! With the economy as it is, I need to change my windows on a budget. He was able to help me think through the most cost effective way to accomplish my goals. He knows his product, gives a reasonable price without any hidden fees. Costs were fully disclosed, professionally presented and documented. I have several other large openings, a 12 foot sliding glass door, an 8 foot sliding glass door and a couple of hinged doors to replace in the future. Bozarth Contractors has my business. I have already recommended them to several friends. The product I received was exactly the same product I was quoted by the other companies with much better pricing.
