countertops, woodworking, cabinet refacing
+ 1 moreWhat should have been a 1 to 2 week job turned in to 8 weeks, and still did not look good. Cabinet doors were not measured correctly, had to remeasure, and replace. Laminated some of the cabinets, but not all (you can see the white behind the cabinet doors, /cabinet and doors are black). One of the cabinets they had to make, was about 2 inches too big, and they wanted to add molding, so it would not look to bad, I refused to and they had to remake the cabinet. Overall the job is poor quality.
Description of Work: Kitchen Updating Removal and disposal of soffit filler panels, doors and drawer fronts Removal and disposal of valence and light box at sink Install 19 doors and 9 drawer fronts in low maintenance RTF material Doors will be full height to soffit, eliminating the filer panels to give taller feel to cabinets Door style is DBW slab with 3/8" bullmosed sides and 1/8" bullnosed top & bottom Drawer front is flat panel with edge profile Finish selected by client Sand & prep exposed frames and end panels Reface exposed end panels Install Blum European hidden hinges Install knobs & pulls Install baseboard in matching finish with show molding Demolish & dispose of tile countertops & backsplash; replace damaged drywall: smooth finish and paint Install 3cm granite countertops New Cabinet for microwave
