My call was not returned promptly, the person on the phone was rude, he seemed to think the acceptable solution to water pouring out of the water heater was to "just turn it off" until it was convenient for him to come several days from now, leaving my family with no hot water and a baby in the house. All this despite advertised 24 hour service. When I pressed him, he finally agreed to come in the morning, and I could call in the AM to get a time. The next morning, his schedule was suddenly full but he "could get to me the next day". So he has now wasted a significant amount of my time chafing this down and we've gone an additional day with a broken water heater because he lied about the service he would provide and strung me along, instead of simply admitting he couldn't do it so that I could call another provider.

Our experience with them was very good. They showed up when they said they would and they did a good job. The workers that came out to do the job were very nice. Their price wasn't exorbitant.

They sent us their master plumber and he was really good. Usually we have sloppy and messy plumbers but this guy was kind of artistic under there. He did a nice clean job. They came again to fix the dishwasher but didn't charge us for that.

Acme Plumbing was on time and performed work as expected. Would definitely use again for future needs.

Better than could be expected given the circumstances. Hard to comment on pricing because my repairs were covered by the home warranty from my recent move.

We own a condo in Destin and rent it out in the summer. We live 350 miles away so we need a good, reliable plumber to come in and quickly correct problems if renters are there. For years we have searched for a good plumber in the Destin area but found only mediocre ones. In February 2012, we were at the condo and noticed that two drains were almost completely clogged and that it appeared that the hot water heater was leaking. We had previously tried to fix the clogs ourselves and had even had two different plumbing companies look at it with no success in unclogging the drains. We called several plumbing companies and didn't even get a response for several days. Finally we decided to try Acme and we received an immediate response. Acme promptly sent out a wonderful plumber who instantly realized what the problem was with the drains and corrected it and found that our water heater did need to be replaced. He said that he thought that it was still under warranty and that we could receive a new one for free. However, instead of leaving it in our laps to contact the company about the warranty, he contacted them himself and arranged to pick up the free replacement and install it. The customer service from Acme was incredible!

They did nothing they were five minutes late.I did not pay them for there service cause they did nothing.Which caused me to have to complete it myself.
