Outstanding service. George was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. Although we had requested a chimney sweeping as well as an inspection George informed us a sweeping wasn't necessary yet. Highly recommended.

Young's Chimney service was great. He inspected fireplace and told me it didn't need to be swept. He could have done it and charged me but he didn't. He did only what was needed and gave me great advice on using my fireplace. He was professional, had the job done quickly and saved my firebox and chimney by installing chimney cap. Also, did mortar repair on chimney to avoid water intrusion. I would recommend Young's to anyone as he is CSIA certified and really knows what he is talking about. He won't sell you anything you don't need.

The guy who came was extremely punctual and very clean. He didn't leave a mess at all. I didn't have a problem with the cleaning. When he said that he's going to be there at a certain time frame, so he called me when he's right on his way. He always let me know.

Arrived on time. Gave estimate. Did work promptly. Cleaned up well. Courteous throughout.

George was/is spectacular. Got a confirmation call the day before, and as scheduled, he was promptly knocking on the door at 9:30am. First thing he did was put down a towel at the door's entrance, then proceeded to seal the entire fieplace opening with sheets. I told him this was my first experience with a fireplace, and in this particular home, the previous owner had installed a wood stove in the hearth opening. George inspected the connection between the stove and the flue and reported everything looked to be in perfect shape. He pointed out that with most wood stoves he inspects, 9 out of 10 those connections between are wrong. He then went outside and climbed on the roof to inspected the cap and clean the chimney. When he returned he told me the cap was in good shape, but the bricks around the chimney needed to be pressured cleaned and sealed with a masonry sealer. He then came inside and patiently explained how my particular wood stove worked and the best ways for me to get the most out of it. In conversation, we discovered we had both worked for the same company in Miami, and chatted for a bit over some Cuban coffee I had made. Overall, his knowledge, demeanor, and work style helped calm all of my concerns about using the fireplace in the future. I would recommend him wthout ANY reservations. (In fact my next door neighbor will be using him soon).

We're in the process of buying a home and in addition to the regular home inspect, decided to also get a septic and chimney inspection done. Never having owned a chimney, I didn't know who to go to. I called around to a few chimney companies to perform an inspection and one of them referred me to Young's Chimney Service to have the inspection done. What a great recommendation it turned out to be! The day before, they called to verify what time they would be arriving and asked if I would like a 10 minute heads up when he was on his way. Earlier the next day, we had the septic tank inspected which was a less than pleasant experience (they showed up 1 hour and 45 minutes late!). So, needless to say, I wasn't in the greatest mood to be left waiting around for the chimney guy to show up. I called to verify the time and he was right on time! He called 10 minutes ahead of time, just like they said they would, to let us know he was on his way. Then, not only was he on time, but he walks in with a stovepipe hat! It was hilarious! George got right to work and since the chimney also needed to be cleaned in order to be inspected (which we were told about this being a possibility when we made the appointment, so no surprises). He got up on the roof, inspected the roofing around the chimney for any faults, let us know that the mesh wiring on the opening of the chimney wasn't to code and could cause potential problems (which he also fixed) and then gave the chimeny the cleaning of it's lifetime. He was extremely knowledgeable and I felt like a chimney expert by the time he was done. He didn't leave a speck of dirt after the cleaning and was very thorough during the cleaning and then making sure everything was back in it's right spot and that it looked even better than when he got there. I highly recommend Young's Chimney Service and I will definitely be using them as long as we live in a home with a chimeny. They gave us peace of mind that the chimney was in good working order and that we can have fires in our fireplace without any worry. Thank you all so much!!

When I called I was anxious to have the inspection done but they were booked for a couple days but offered me the name and number of their partner who they purchased the business from who is now semi retired. I was able to reach him and he said he would be happy to come out in my time frames. He called the evening before to verify and showed up at the time he said he would. He was neatly dressed, professional and thorough. He took the time to explain all he would be doing. He was also very careful as to insure no mess got into the house, which it did not and the fireplace was cleaning after he left than when he began. When he came in off the roof he gave me a full report of what he did and what I might want to have checked on in another year to two. I was VERY pleased with his service. It is ALWAYS a welcome surprise to use a company that does exactly as they say they are going to do. I would HIGHLY recommend

When I first made the appointment a week and a half before the actual date he had no other appoints scheduled. The day before he was to come out they called and said he could not make it at that time and he could only come out later in the evening. Unfortunately that was not going to work for me so I had to cancel the appt and make it with another company. 30 minutes before he was originally supposed to arrive he called me stating he could be at my house shortly. I agreed with this. When he arrived he was very polite and did not seemed bothered by all my questions. He did what he needed to do and left after about 40 minutes. I would recommend and use him again.

After checking with CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America - www.csia.org), I found that George Elias is the only certified chimney sweep in my area - and am very happy to have found him. I called to make an appointment and Cheryl was very friendly and courteous. We picked a date and time for George to do the cleaning and inspection. George arrived right on time, introduced himself and explained what he would do. He started his work, was very neat - he covered the fireplace opening with blankets while he swept from the roof. After a careful inspection and thorough cleaning from the roof, he finished up on the inside - not leaving a trace of soot anywhere. I found George to be very professional and friendly. He explained a bit about fireplace safety and how to keep from causing a potential chimney fire. Would definitely use again and strongly recommend!

He was very punctual and knowledgeable. He gave us a lot of options and he did not pressure us into doing unnecessary work. We felt comfortable that way. He did a nice job and the price was reasonable.

Very well. James showed up exactly on time. He was very pleasant and worked hard. He was very nice to my children who were very interested in his work. He sucked out all the lint trapped in the dryer duct. he was very clean during the process and cleaned up after it was finished. He was a very honest about how often we should have the dryer vent cleaned out. He had noticed that we did not have our dryer vent properly attached so he replaced it and installed a new one for us. Overall it was an excellent service experience.

Did a great job. Dryer now drying better. Thanks again! Will use again next year.

He was very honest that is why I like them. When he looked at my chimney he was honest and said it did not need cleaned out yet. He came on time and was very professional. He cleaned the dryer vent because it can catch fire if it's not cleaned properly and he was real informative and I really appreciate his service.

Excellent service, very professional. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing dryer vent cleaning. Already have them on my calendar to call next year. I doubt I would ever call anyone else.

The office personnel were nice, polite, and prompt. They first gave me a ''morning or afternoon'' option, and then called closer to the appointment date with a more specified time (i.e., between 8:30 and 9:00 am). The technician arrived on time, was polite, and explained what he would be doing before, during, and after (I asked a lot of questions!). He gave me suggestions on what we can do to maintain the chimney and dryer duct, even though it might mean they don't need to come out as soon in the future. I felt that he was giving me advice based on what he would do if it was his own house. I felt comfortable and satisfied with the work that was performed and I would recommend this company to anyone in need of such services.

Exactly on time. Very fair price. Kept working and working in an attempt to find a leak in our chimney which our roofer described but which simply is not there. Even replaced our dryer vent, which I requested at the last minute, for only $6.00 for a total charge of $65. Money well spent. I wish all contractors gave them this much confidence in their work.

THIS GUY WAS AWESOME. I'VE GOT WHITE CARPET IN THAT ONE AREA AROUND THE FIREPLACE, AND WHENEVER HE CLEANED THE FLUE AND EVERYTHING, IT DIDN'T TURN BROWN OR BLACK. HE PROTECTED MY CARPET, AND THAT IS THE ONLY AREA WHERE I HAVE WHITE CARPET. I HAD LESS THAN 24 HOURS IN TERMS OF A RESPONSE TIME.

I ONLY HAD THEM ONE TIME. IT WAS PRETTY GOOD. THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY. THEY CLEANED UP THEIR MESS. THE PRICE WAS FAIR. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY DID THE WORK. THEY WERE FINE.

HE HAS A VERY PROMPT SERVICE. HE IS HONEST AND CHECKS THE CHIMNEY TO SEE IF IT NEEDS TO BE CLEANED. IF IT DOESN'T NEED CLEANING, HE'LL TELL YOU. HE DOESN'T DO IT FOR THE MONEY. HE GIVES OPINIONS AND GIVES INFORMATION IF WE NEED IT.

HE WAS GREAT. HE DIDN'T MAKE A MESS IN MY HOUSE. THERE WAS NO DUST OR ANYTHING. HE WAS IN AND OUT IN AN HOUR. I THINK THE PRICE WAS GOOD FROM WHAT I HEARD. I MAINLY TRY TO SUPPORT MY LOCAL BUSINESSES. IT WAS QUICK. I HAD A GUY OUT HERE WITHIN A FEW DAYS. HE WAS A VERY NICE AND COURTEOUS OLDER GENTLEMAN AND DID THE WORK. HE OFFERED MORE SERVICES THAT THEY DO LIKE CLEANING DRYER VENTS.
