Variance pending. So far all is right with the project.

Keith was very professional on the phone as we discussed the scope of work to be completed. He went to the property and submitted an estimate for me to submit to the bank. He seems to have a lot of experience in renovations.

They didn't get back with me. Anyone who doesn't have the courtesy to respond to calls or e-mails doesn't deserve my business.

Out of all of the people we talked to, they were by far the best. The only problem was that their price was significantly higher than the others. They were incredibly thorough and attentive. They were by far the most communicative. I wish I could use them. They are definitely the preferred choice. However, the expense is way too much. Update 7/17/12: Project has just begun, but I will update upon completion. Update 12/1/2012 Overall, I was pleased with how the project progressed and turned out, notwithstanding that we went over budget and the proposed completion date was exceeded by a few weeks. Some of this was due to changes we made mid-project. Keith was always very flexible and worked with us when things needed to be changed or amended. We were extremely impressed with Keith's willingness to invest his personal time and energy to work out issues. For example, we had a problem with our neighbors and the building department regarding our deck. Keith did everything he was supposed to so the problem was truly not his problem. Nevertheless, the building department was not going to give us our CO if we didn't tear down part of our deck and change it. It wasn't Keith's problem or issues, but because we were not present to fight for ourselves he took on the building department and neighbors himself. He was able to convince them that we should not have to alter our deck at all. This saved us a significant amount of money in that we did not have to pay to alter the project. This truly was above and beyond his duty and we are grateful. Another impressive trait is that Keith was very intune with our vision from the outset. His suggestions were always relevant and appropriate and greatly added to the overall satisfaction of the outcome. I will update this posting in 6 months. R A Renovation gives a complete 1 year warranty on all work they do. In a perfect world this will never have to be utilized. I believe a contractor's willingness to stand by his work and resolve issues that may arise after a project is complete is as important, if not more, than its willingness to address issues during the project. I do not anticipate having any issues as the workmanship and craftmanship looks to be top notch, but if any issues arise I will update Angies List to show how this company deals with them. 1/28/2012 Had a problem with leakage with my dishwasher. A part that was installed failed or did not work properly. The leak cause the flooring in the kitchen to crack and the tile to come up. R A responded immediately to my call, replaced/repaired the problem and fixed the problem. It is refreshing to know that there are companies out there that stand by there work and warranties. We will be doing additional work to our home/garage and R A will be getting our business.

The work was excellent. Whatever I asked for, they did it above my expectations. I’m really happy with their services.

We were very pleased with how everything went with our project. It was completed pretty much right on schedule; the work was completed in just over two months, which is great for this size of renovation (others had quoted 5-6 months and we even added a lot on to the addition scope of the project). Keith at RA Renovations was great to work with - he knows what he's doing and is very easy to work with. They were very reliable and were pretty good about cleaning up at the end of the day and trying to be the least disruptive to us as they could since we were living in the house through the whole project. We were always comfortable with the progress of the job in proportion to the amount we had paid to that point. Things happen, and anytime there was something we weren't happy with, Keith would always "make it right". We feel we got a great renovations at a very fair price. We would highly recommend RA Renovations to anyone. We love our new home and have received lots of compliments on it from family and friends.
