Things went well. They even laid the left over sod in my front yard for me.

Everything went as planned and promised. They designed the layout based on our needs for irrigation in a previously non-irrigated area of the property. On the first visit, we walked the property, Dan understood what we were trying to do with paths and garden beds, and he decided on the best layout for lines and heads. He gave me a handwritten quote on the spot and emailed me a formal copy later, which matched his original quote in every detail. When I hired him, he gave me a start date. They arranged for utility marking, and that person showed up the day before the planned started date. Dan and a crew showed up on the planned start date, we walked the property again briefly to confirm we were in sync, and they got right to work. There were no misunderstandings about scope or layout. Surprisingly they got the entire job done in one day, instead of the two days he had quoted. Dan came back the second day to flush the lines, fine tune heads and confirm everything was working. One part of the job turned out to be less work than anticipated, and he cut the price slightly to account for that. This was a fixed price bid so he was not obligated to do that.

My appointment window was 2hrs between 9am-11am. No one showed up during that time frame. I waiting another 30min then called the company to see what the delay was. No one answered the phone, so I left a message inquiring about my service and requesting a call back. I still have not received a call back. I will be searching for new company now to fix my sprinkler system.

It went relatively well. Dan was for the most part professional and informative.We had only 2 small complaints. 1. The sod installation turned out somewhat bumpy. I think this was because the individual pieces of sod were not pushed tightly together leaving gaps. I am hoping that it is a minor enough issue that it will be corrected with a couple of good rains. The other issue was follow=-up. Dan had indicated that he would come around a week or so after installation and reset the sprinklers to come on only 2 days a week. This has not happened. We went on line and found the manuals for the controller and reset it ourselves. Since we had paid Dan in full, this made us feel like we were not valued customers and left a bad taste in our mouth.

The crew worked HARD through the heat the first day, pouring rain the second day and beyond "quitting time" time both days. It was nice working with this family owned/operated business. Dan's estimate was accurate and carried through to all of our project add-ons. Everyone that we dealt with at Lawn Pros was great--polite, friendly and accommodating. Their pricing was fair, even when all of those add-ons added up at the end of the project. We love the finished project as do all of the neighbors!

Another contractor "fixed" the problem but didn't let me know when they were there and the system wasn't tested and didn't work. Lawn Pro's said they would be there the next day. Dan called the morning agreed and asked if he could come out earlier. He showed up on time and quickly confirmed the problem. He installed the part, the previous contractor said was bad, in the location that was faulty. He tested the entire system and it has been working since.

The quote was not emailed to me as promised, so I called the office the next day and was assured I would get a quote that afternoon. I was shocked to see the quote was almost 4 times higher than quotes from other contractors. Even though Dan was going to do some things that were different, I did not feel it justified the rate he was going to charge. I replied to Dan the same day requesting a less expensive alternative, but have yet to hear back from him.

Dan came out to install a new irrigation timer for us. Dan was super nice and a pleasure to do business with ! The original timer was old and had been acting up for a year. Although he informed me there were options to replace parts rather then the entire timer, I wanted the unit to be new and to not worry about the potential of other older pieces breaking down the road. I do appreciate that he informed me of these choices rather then automatically suggesting that the entire unit "had" to be replaced. He agreed replacement was a good option also. He was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. I will definitely call the company again for any service in the future. From my initial call to the office all the way to the actual work being done, the experience was very pleasant, efficient and well organized, not to mention very quick! Thank you so much for working me into your schedule on such short notice and I will be sure to recommend your company to others :)

The quote process was great -- Dave was friendly and helpful; after emailing to setup an appointment, the entire process became an awful experience. The girl called and told me when they would be out; it was a challenge to try to work with them to schedule a time when I would be there. I was told to call early morning on that date to find out what time they would be coming out. It was raining a LOT that day and the man on the phone assured me that the job was on as previously scheduled. The sod was delivered by a sub contracted company that morning also by a friendly person. And that was it; there was no further communication by the company at all. Over the course of the day up through 8pm during the rain, I called at least 6 times and left 2 messages. I have still not received a response from those messages. They did not show up and did not attempt to contact me on the day of the scheduled appointment. The next day, apparently their team showed up on the job. Thankfully, my wife was home, and noticed that they were there working in the front lawn. We weren't expecting them, so our sprinklers were running and they decided to put buckets over them instead of attempt to contact us or even ring the doorbell! They installed the sod and left a bill with abhorrent directions on care. It simply said, 'water once a day' -- there was no recommended time or coverage or time of the day included. Several days later when it started to turn brown, I went to the internet to find proper care instructions that helped me save the sod. Along with my payment to the company, I wrote them a letter detailing my experience -- I have never received a comment about that either. If they would have responded with an apology and taken steps to remedy the situation, I would have allowed that to be reflected in my review, but they had their chance to respond many times over and chose not to. I only went with this company because their average rating was a B and they were close to my home, but it should be closer to a D. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Great crew, knew their stuff. Very informative when we asked questions, they really wanted us to understand and do the right things for the new lawn. Only negative was, the office did not return our calls when we had questions, it was like they had been paid, so, oh well! that is how we felt.

Went very well I am afraid I called back several times with questions before work was even begun, I am a worry wart. Dan responded to all my calls answered my questions, put my mind at ease. The workers came did the work, and it all turned out, BEAUTIFUL!

I would not hesitate to call Lawn Pro's in the future. Dan was extremely pleasant to do business with. He was able to do everything I needed done, at the time he came out to do the estimate, and did a great job. Dan answered our call for service. He actually arrived a few minutes earlier than he said he would. We briefed him on our problem and let him check out the irrigation system itself. He found three major leaks and replaced nine sprinkler heads with the correct heads. We had had three irrigation specialists prior to this and they charged us for "fixing" leaks and changing sprinkler heads. Dan showed me the date on the sprinklers which was the original installation going back to 1993! There were also two lines that were broken and which he repaired. All of this work was supposed to have been done by these other contractors - they certainly charged me enough to have repaired the entire system. Not only was Dan here on the job ahead of schedule, but finished the complete job in just over an hour. I highly recommend his company to anyone who might need lawn irrigation services. I certainly don't plan on ever using anyone else again; and I thank Angie's List for providing Lawn Pro's number for me. They are absolutely a four-star service.

When we arrived we were totally disappointed in what we saw. Nothing was done. There was a whole bunch of weeds and leaves. If somethings was done, it would still looked done 2 days later. We called to find out why and the guy was rude about it. He said if you're not satisfied with our business, you can find somebody else. All we wanted was for them to come out and look at what wasn't done and do it. If we had needed to pay more, when would've done that. He didn't want to hear that. He said he wasn't going to charge us but there's still money coming out of our account to them. We don't even know if they've been over to our vacation house to do the work they're still charging us for. They started out profession but in the end it went really bad.

I was at work but they managed to navigate working with my 95-year-old mother and very scary dog to get the job done. He (I believe it was Kevin) was punctual and professional and my mother said very nice. Our elderly neighbor asked him to look at his pump, which he fixed in a minute at no charge. I have given the neighbor the Lawn Pro's card as he wants to have more work done (and pay for it). I'm looking for more work for them to do!

Their service was good the last time they came in.

All work was performed well. Their price was a bit higher than a couple other quotes I received but I liked the proffesionalism and promptness. I have since hired them to mow the lawn at onother rental property.

Dan, the owner, was very prompt at providing an estimate within 24 hours of requesting one. The work was performed very professionally with top notch components. Electrical work was tidy and organized. I will use Dan again.

Dan arrived on time and quickly assessed and remedied the situation. Our lawn guy had weed wacked through the electrical wire supplying power to the irrigation system manifold. Once the wire was repaired and buried, Dan checked the system for any heads that were not working properly. He replaced three heads. Everything is working beautifully now and the whole visit took approximately 30 minutes.

The prices were fair. They were professional, and on time.
