ATLANTIC WINDOW & SCREEN

They came out and give an estimate and ended up cracking my window. The person was just oddly cool. They wouldn't give me a written proposal, they wanted me to give a deposit of almost $200 without itemizing what needs to be done. I also asked them if they could watch my trees and they ended up putting a ladder on top of my strawberry and they didn't even apologize for that. On top of it, they did even more damage to my windows.

Technician came out and was there at around 10:15 given a 9-11 window. We have had this guy before for prior repairs and he is a talker. I told him I wanted all the windows checked while he was here and that there were two windows with issues, at least. Not only did he NOT check all the windows or even any beyond the two that needed repair, he didn't even look at the area I told him was broken because he said, 'Well, it is working...'. I KNOW it is working. I get it, but I don't care that it is working TODAY. If it is broken, then it is just a matter of time before it is not working. He never checked it. I needed an honest assessment and he failed miserably. He proceeded to talk about his son and such, which in all honesty, I don't give a rip about because A.) you are here for a service only and I don't know you from Adam and B.) I work from home and you are taking up my work time. I don't know if it is because I am a woman or what, but he just didn't listen and respond to my requests. And I said them over and over and over. He even said he would check to see if he had the parts and he would call. No call ever happened - it has been a week today. And it took a week for them to come out for the most wasteful service ever. Update - Atlantic Window called today (1/5/2015) to let me know they 'think' they found the parts to my windows. I proceeded to ask the woman how could they know what parts I need when A.) they did not look at all my windows and B.) didn't thoroughly inspect the two broken ones? She said they needed to make sure they could get the parts first. I then proceeded to tell her the guy did not inspect all the windows, like I asked and she said it was probably because of the parts issue. Maybe it is. I also mentioned he said he would call. It has been almost three weeks since his visit. The lady was curt and surly, reminding me they have been in business for over 30 years. I told her I was looking to have the windows replaced since I did not hear back from them in a timely manner and she asked, 'from whom?'

Prompt, friendly service. Reviewed work when completed, made sure other windows OK. Not a cheap repair, but reasonable, given the cost of the parts plus the labor. Enjoying the fresh air again!

They were great! It was a father/son team. They were very nice and I would definitely give them an "A". They were very good!!

I was able to get a quick appointment, they arrived on time, thier work was professional and fast.

CALLED AND HAD TECHNICAN AT HOME AN HOUR LATER. WINDOW INSTALLED A WEEK LATER AS IT HAD TO BE ORDERED DOUBLE PANE AND LARGE SIZE. FRIENDLY AND VERY NEAT AND CLEAN.
