Bill Malkemes, the owner, is wonderfully professional, knowledgeable, and kind, very fair with his prices, will go beyond what is required, and is thorough with everything he promises for the job. I have used his tree removal and dirt fill services several times and have always been very happy. You can count on him and his workers!

Bill has arborists who work for his company and it shows. I had my trees hacked several years ago by another company and now they look great. He seems a little pricy, but I didn't quote him. He did my brother in laws trees and they looked so good, I just called him to come out. I had to call him back to remind him to come out though. Also, he gets very busy in summer, a lot of schools use him and I don't blame them!!!
Description of Work: trimmed 3 oak trees, 4 queen palms, and some alexanders (taking berries off). Remove 2 mature palms, one queen and one alaxender.

Bill Malkemes, the owner, made an initial visit on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 to survey the job and quote a price. His personality, expertise, and friendliness made a very positive impression. I explained that I had to present his quote to the HOA Board for approval and, once approved, I would be contacting him to schedule the tree removal. Mid morning on Friday, March 27, 2015 I left a message with Tip Top Tree Service's very pleasant and helpful receptionist, that the approval had been obtained and I was ready for scheduling. She said that she relay the message to Bill when he returned to the office. I received a call from Bill at 12:45pm stating that he had scheduled his crews with a light work load, due to there being a threat of thunderstorms forecast for the day, and he wondered if I would like if they could come in a short while to remove my trees. I was pleasantly surprised and welcomed having the work done so swiftly. Bill and his first crew arrived at 1:45pm with a bucket truck and wood chipper attached to mulch receiving truck. They began the task immediately with deft precision. As the largest tree, the black olive, was becoming a "distant memory" of it's former self, a third truck appeared to collect the larger trunk sections. This truck was equipped with a large claw to lift the heavy logs, very reminiscent of the claw machines used to select toy prizes at the arcade. As the other two trees were felled a fourth truck arrived hauling the stump grinder. Bill directed his crews the way a maestro conducts a symphonic orchestra. Every man had his responsibility and executed it with deft precision. Watching the work was reminiscent of watching a synchronized sporting event. Mesmerizing and entertaining. As each crew completed its part, the corresponding truck would pull away and the next one would move into position. And Bill lent a hand wherever his crew needed support....great quality in an owner! By 3:30pm the job was finished. Nothing left to indicate there had been three trees but the residual sawdust, as the crew had raked and smoothed the area. I was correct in my initial feeling about Bill, he was the best man for the job! Trust your tree removal to Tip Top Tree Service, Inc. and you will not regret the decision.

I think the price for the service ($450) was a little steep, HOWEVER, WORTH IT. Bill (the owner) was so professional. Yesterday, he called me back shortly after I him left a message inquiring about his services, and vistied my property that same day while I was at work so he could give me an estimate on the phone. He said he could come the next morning at 8:00 to get started (that way I could meet him before I left for work). He showed up today right on time with his crew. He was such a nice person and knew a lot about trees! By the time I left for the office, the guys were nearly done an had nearly eveything cleaned up. They brought all the trimmings out front and are coming by later to haul it away. Even though the price was a little high (at least I think it was), the service was excellent, professional and reliable. I will strongly consider using him again.
Description of Work: I had my big olive trees trimmed in the backyard - 2 of them - and I also had my eureka palm (small one) trimmed in front of my door.
