We submitted a request on the provider's website on Sunday. Monday morning they called and scheduled a same day visit. He determined that the cost of the repair would be at least $500 and was very honest to say that we could buy a new machine for near that price and recommended that we did not spend the money to repair. In addition, he did not even charge us for the service call which is above and beyond expectations in my opinion. Smart Choice will be our first choice the next time we need appliance repair.

There is simply not enough space here to describe how pleased we are with Luke and his company Smart Choice Appliance. I have never seen anyone in this business that was more knowledgeable, professional, and ethical. I now see why he has so many positive reviews and we are happy to add another one for him. THIS COMPANY IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO CALL! Having been in the real estate business for a long time we have dealt with many other appliance companies over the years. Luke is by far the best appliance repair person I have dealt with. Luke did exactly as promised for the appointment. He called when he was on his way and he arrived on time. When he arrived he wasted no time and went right to work; but we never felt rushed or that he was anxious to leave quickly. Luke diagnosed the issues quickly and what we thought was going to be a new icemaker was a relatively simple water line drain repair. Never once did he attempt to "upsell" us to buy a new icemaker and he just fixed our problem. He even had a cooler with him to put our frozen food in while he repaired the freezer section. He had a wide array of tools and all the parts we needed for our repairs were on his truck. He is a Certified Technician and very few in this business are. But Angie's list requires it. Luke was extremely fair in what he charged us for the work done by him. I really felt that I truly got more than my money's worth. Obviously we liked Luke and we feel you should as well.

This is a small company that has impeccable customer service. Totally professional from the moment they answer the phone till the time Luke leaves your home. I was given a 3 hour time frame in which Luke would arrive and told he would call 30 minutes prior to arrival and that's exactly what happened. When he arrived he was professional, honest, and knowledgeable. He repaired my range and took great care to not scratch my slate tile floor (it scratches easily) when pulling out the range. He even figured out how to get the control panel switched to English when it arrived in French which is a difficult task when all the directions are in French! lol. He left everything in place and clean and back in working order. I will definitely be using Smart Choice again! Thank you!

My high-end vent hood in newly moved into home wasn't working, Luke came and determined problem, a small and relatively cheap fix. I was very grateful that he didn't tell me it was a major expensive issue; he certainly could have. Fixed it quickly. Luke is a very nice honest guy. I feel good knowing that if I have an appliance give out I have a guy I can trust now.

This is a short but OBJECTIVE review !! Luke arrived at the scheduled time and quickly identified my problem. His manner was professional and friendly. His competence was obvious BUT !!!! and importantly, He is HONEST, he said he was able to repair my washer without having to replace any parts (drain pump etc) and he did so at a very reasonable cost. A competent professional !! Reasonable Fees !! Honest !! WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR !!!!!!!!

Our 21.0 cubic foot office Whirlpool refrigerator was not cooling and ice maker did not make ice. I researched Angie's List and chose Smart Choice Appliance based on excellent reviews. This is a great firm, professional, on time and explains problem thoroughly. Luke, from Smart Choice, arrived in a uniform so we were able to see at a glance that he was the person we were expecting and easily identifiable. The evaporator fan motor was not functioning. Luke showed me the part, replaced the part for a price that was much cheaper than buying a new refrigerator. I would definitely use this company again and took a card for my home file in case we ever need an appliance or disposal repair.

I really appreciated how professional everyone was at Smart Choice. It was easy to schedule the repair. They confirmed my appointment the night before, and my repair person (Luke) called 30 mins. before his arrival to reconfirm. Luke did a great job installing the microwave, despite the fact that my cabinets were very uneven. He was not able to reuse one of the screws because the previous installer had stripped it. He had extra screws in his truck. Luke noticed a few other issues around my home and quickly corrected them. He used my vacuum to tidy up the kitchen when he was done. I asked him about a problem I was having with the dryer. He recommended a vent cleaning company and gave me their card. I will definitely recommend Smart Choice to neighbors.

Awesome, I sent an email and the office called within 15 min. Luke came was extremely professional in his appearance and mannerism. He diagnosed the problem and we made arrangements to fix the problem. Calling him again to fix the washer. Its a pleasure working with a company that returns calls, comes when they say and charges a reasonable rate.

He was excellent and answered all of our questions.

Luke arrived on time and was very friendly. He then got right to work on my dryer and solved the problem. He also offered me some advice concerning a water heater that was throwing the breaker suggesting that I call an electrician instead of a plumber. I appreciated his advice. Iwas really impressed that he took such an interest in my job. I will certainly call this company again.

He was honest and he gives you a lot of time to discuss things in detail. He is very thorough and didn't leave a mess. He went beyond what I expected. I trust him and I have used him before. I feel comfortable with him and his knowledge and his price is worth it.

I found Smart Choice Appliance, LLC through Angie's List which turned out to be a real find! It's a family run business and Luke, the owner, responded quickly to my first call, came to the house for an assessment and later, came to fix the dishwasher. He replaced a seal and now my dishwasher is running like a charm! He even gave me a warranty for his work. I am moving to another house and will DEF use Luke in the future! :-)

Fabulous. I will always call them to come back, and they even call, after they came a week later, to make sure whatever they came out to fix is still working. That's the quality of a customer's service. While he was out here, he fixed a few other extra things with no charge.

They were very good- I was very happy. They were on time, pleasant to deal with and confident. They didn't disturb and so I have no issue with them. If I needed them again, I would use them. I found them through Angie's List.

Diagnosis took 10 minutes, repair, check out etc. 10 minutes. Came at the endif 10-1 PM window but was in/out fast. Fair price, excellent technician

The dryer was making a clunking noise and we had water leaking inside the refrigerator. I emailed Smart Choice Appliances over a weekend and they promptly called me on Monday to set up an appointment. The appointment was for a 2 hour window. They let me know up front what the diagnostic fee was and that if the second appliance could be diagnosed in 5 minutes, the second diagnostic fee was $5.00. On the day of the appointment I received a call letting me know when Luke would arrive. He arrive on time and was dressed professionally. He proceeded quickly to diagnosed the issues and explained the issues. He then prepared an estimate (The dreaded estimate). Much to my surprise, the estimate was quite reasonable and he had the parts on his truck to repair the appliances. This was great considering many times you hear that the tech needs to order parts. I agreed to the price and he set about completing the repairs. Forty-five minutes later the repairs were complete and we had functioning appliances again. Called the company and received a voice mail asking me to leave a message and they would call me back in 30 minutes so I did so. The call came in right on time, Luke was very professional and pleasent from the start. I explained the situation that the dryer was not heating up and I wasn't sure what to do with it. We set a time for him to come out, and he called 30 mins before arriving just to make sure I was home. After checking out the dryer we found it was working fine, and he suggested it was possible that the loads may have been running to close together and it shut down to keep from over heating. After that he continued to check out the washer after I had mentioned it was an issue not spinning all the water out of the clothes. He found that it was not leveled and corrected that for me. It was a though thing since the floor in the garage has a dip in it where the washer sits, but he didn't give up and kept going till it was right. After that we went inside to settle the bill and I asked if he could tell me what filter I needed for my fridge since I had no clue. He not only knew which one I needed, he had it on the truck and was able to sell it to me and install it. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing appliance help.

Luke was thorough and fair. He recommended we NOT replace a part which did not yet need replacing.

My Bosch washing machine was displaying a "blocked drain" message. I found Luke on Angie's list and sent an email inquiry through their website which was answered within 30 mins. He was able to come to our home that same day. He fixed the washing machine in about 20 mins. While he was there, we asked him to also clean out our dryer vent. He noticed that our current one was broken and upgraded it to a more efficient model. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Luke seemed very knowledgable. I will definitely use them again in the future.

From the start, Christine was very pleasant and extremely helpful in scheduling an appointment for the next day. Luke called as promised and came within window time as scheduled. He very quickly diagnosed an unfixable problem with my washer and recommended doing nothing as repair cost would exceed replacement costs. He also checked my dryer at no charge and gave me great recommendations for replacement washers. He was very professional and clearly well versed in his field. I would not hesitate using Smart Choice Appliance again and recommend them highly.

Called twice to let me know when he'd arrive, then did so in the allotted time frame. Found the problem(s). Gave me an estimate of replacement parts (Got a free icemaker replacement with the circuit board). He had the foresight to have all of the replacement parts for our model with him in his vehicle. Was quick, cheerful, and tidy. Cleaned up after himself (and behind the fridge). Fridge is working perfectly now, so for $460 I basically have a new fridge. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this company.
