We previously called upon Smart Choice Appliance to fix our microwave and put in a new garbage disposal, so of course we called again to help with the refrigerator. Luke immediately knew what the problem was and fixed it. When we called to schedule the appointment we were given a 3 hour window. On the day of the appointment Luke's assistant called a few times indicating Luke was running late (other appointments delayed him) and to update us on his ETA. Although he arrived after the original 3 hour window, I indicated in this review that he was punctual because we were getting phone calls throughout the afternoon keeping us updated on his arrival time which we were pleased with. Prior to being introduced to Smart Choice Appliance we have had problems with this refrigerator in the past and had to call Maytag 800# to get someone to come out and fix the problems, including the same problem that Luke fixed this time. Smart Choice Appliance charged us less than the Maytag 800# Service Techs.

Excellent. Friendly diagnosis and repair.

Repairman arrived on time and diagnosed and fixed the problem. Clearly explained the issue and told me how to avoid the problem in the future. Also gave me a source where I can purchase quality filters for significantly less. Really like 1 yr guarantee instead of usual 3 mo. I'm delighted to have found an honest, competent company to call if another appliance develops a problem.

Our double oven had shorted out. Luke worked us into his schedule on a very busy day for him - the same day I called. We very much appreciated that he kept in touch with us as his day progressed so we would have a window to expect him. He quickly resolved the problem and ordered the part we needed. He returned as promised after he received the part and we were good to go. He was a breath of fresh air compared to our last broken dishwasher experience with a Sears authorized appliance repair company that let us know the part was in and never bothered to return my phone calls asking about it until we got Sears themselves involved. We would rate him 10 stars if we could!

It went very well. Luke, the owner, is a very personable guy and very knowledgeable about large kitchen applicances. It's good he keeps a large supply of replacement parts on his truck. He responded the next day and his price was reasonable. His promotional magnet is on our fridge and I would definitely call him again.

Luke came out and did an inspection and found one of the plastic brackets had snapped on the control panel. He had a metal bracket that he used with 3 screws to hold in place the washer is working great and not shaking so much now - the tub is in balance. A new panel would have run me $300 he just charged me for the service call. Very professional and took his time to make sure everything was working. Would highly recommend them!!!

Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful and they were even able to squeeze us in for an appointment the same day.

Luke determined that the ice maker had to be replaced. He had the replacement unit in his truck and had the new unit in within a few minutes. He also removed the grille at the bottom and cleaned out the vent. The whole thing took less than half an hour.

Luke called ahead of time that he was coming out and I appreciate that courteous call ahead of time. He was polite as always and did a complete checkup on all my appliances. He's also very knowledgable in helping me keep up with my appliances as he advise me to buy Glisten washing machine and dishwasher magic to help keep my appliances clean and running efficiently until he comes back next tear for another checkup. He takes care of my appliances like he owns them job and I will continue to use him to care for my appliances. Thank you again Luke.

Very wonderful. He does wonderful work, and is highly agreeable. I would recommend him. In fact, I have already recommended to some friends. His wife called to confirm he appointment, and then he called half an hour before the appointment to let us know when he would be here. As I customer, I really appreciate that.

Owner/technician Luke Klischuk arrived when expected, diagnosed the problem promptly and correctly, and saved me a freezer full of food. He was pleasant, polite, and intelligent - as was the telephone support for the company. I plan on calling them again when needed as this was the best appliance service I have ever experienced.

This is how service businesses should operate. Initial phone call very professional. Visit scheduled. Charging method explained. Told technician would call approx 30 minutes before arrival. That's exactly how it went. Luke, the technician arrived as he promised in his call. Smart and professional appearance backed up by knowledge of my Maytag refrigerator and an explanation of the problem I had, what he would do to fix it and the cost. He found a couple of other minor things and fixed those also.I discovered after 4 years of ownership that my freezer tray should light up when I pull it out. It does that now. Smart Choice will be my first call in future for anything to do with an appliance.

From the first phone contact, this family run business was a delight to work with. Scheduling went well, Luke called before arriving and quickly assessed and solved the problem. He explained everything, answered all my questions, and could not have been more honest, upfront, kind, and attentive. I would not hesitate to call Smart Choice for any appliance repair needs in the future.

They had to come more than once to fix the problem. Their customer is great. It's just that if they could have fixed the problem the first time, it would have been helpful. They were very professional and they would do whatever they could to try to get it right even if they had to come back more than once.

Luke was very responsive and came when he promised. He needed a part and ordered it and returned the following week also as scheduled. He was very personable and helpful and provided excellent service at a very reasonable price. I would feel very confident recommending him to others.

Luke from "Smart Choice" came out and diagnosed my no-longer-cooling refrigerator. He replaced the relay and computer board. As a final step, he installed a surge protector. The whole experience was easy due to Luke's professionalism and attention to detail. Plus, he let me pick his brain regrading the best/worst kitchen appliances from a repair point of view. I would certainly use "Smart Choice" again!

Changed the round rubber part in the washer that was torn and water came out in buckets..

Tina was awesome w/ respect to follow up & Luke the certified technician was terrific. Luke explained everything he was doing & why...have SCA on speed dial.
